Highly recommend working directly with ADT, do not use this vendor. Marty was very pushy and dishonest. System hasn't worked in over 3 months, instead of paying for a service request I decided to change companies. Many better options out there or like I mentioned before work directly with ADT.com not this vendor. They can offer better deals and your contract gets sold to them regardless after 12 months. read more

I will start off with I never reached out to this company with interest of any kind. Ronald Sims repeatedly showed up at my home unannounced on weekend mornings to which I did not answer the door. I live on a private street posted no trespassing, I added a similar sign to my driveway and a no soliciting sign on my walk. Yesterday morning he showed up and was banging on the door, again we ignored, he kept pounding on the door then yelling in the window until I relented. I showed my displeasure with being woken up on a Saturday morning. he started asking a bunch of questions that almost seemed like he was casing the place and finally left. I called him Sunday morning and he refused to identifi himself on the phone complaing that it's a Sunday morning! I contacted the police and gave them photos of him trespassing on my property and contacted adt directly to file a complaint. what a slimey scumbag! I can see why his company has nothing but one star complaints. read more

They don't stand behind their product after they install the systems. I paid a significant amount for the installation. While the contract was in place it was apparent the sensors were failing but they i ignored my several requests. I now have to redo every single sensors on my dime. They are extremely expensive, unprofessional and I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

I've called safe haven several times to get help I'm fixing a front door camera that THEY installed. There was no answer. I stayed on hold several times hoping to get someone. My limit was 35 minutes. This business will send unqualified technicians to your home. All the products they installed have malfunctioned and we've had to troubleshoot ALL of them ourselves. It's a shame. I've called ADT (since they recommended them) and they will be reviewing their contract with them. My opinion, save yourselves the headache and avoid this company at all costs. read more

They misinformed me when selling the contract. They told me that I can cancel the contract if I changed my mind. Also, they told me that I can keep the equipment after contract ends. After signing, I found out that I cannot cancel contract before 2 years unless I pay 75% of the remaining monthly fees, and also the equipment are useless if I cancel the contract since they only work when I have active account with them. I feel like I was rubbed. read more

I received a three-year introductory offer through my homebuilder when it ran out there were a couple emails and attempts to upsell me, and then I was disconnected rather abruptly and unable to reach anyone. When I finally reached someone they were reading from a script that took forever to get through. I had to get to my next work meeting and had to hang up on them because they would not give me a chance to speak, this was a completely misled opportunity for them to not be trying to sell me such a greedy upsell to allow the customer to talk. They've got these ridiculous technician fees that are presented to you as a consequence of not reviewing or getting back with them in time but I've got news for them. The rest of us are working trying to afford the services and I've got other people I can go to. read more

ZERO Rating! One star because the system won't accept no stars. I have NEVER seen such poor business practices. Safe Heaven sent an installer that installed the window sensors wrong. When I sent the photo to ADT, they were appalled at the installation. Safe Haven also placed the initial box, in a location that wasn't able to serve our home (several malfunction codes), so they pulled it out (I had to have hole patched/repaired), they moved it, again malfunction codes, pulled it out (more patch and repairs). They sent a manager to try to correct the initial install, and try to correct the placement of sensors and the box. They gave me a plug in, mobile unit, still, malfunction codes. The unit has not worked for 1 day. They have sent a tech out 3x to "fix" the installation. After a month of a non-working system, we have tried to contact the company to cancel everything and get our money back. Their customer service is horrific and rude, we are trying to escalate the situation of this non-working system but customer service refuses to help, or escalate our concerns. The system is HORRIBLE, their customer service is HORRIBLE. DO NOT do business with Safe Haven! read more

If can give them zero stars, I would. This may seem like the first review but they deleted their old yelp and started a new one becuz of all the terrible reviews. There are better companies in SD do some research before going with this company. They will take your money, give you the cheapest box instead of the new one that ADT now uses, and never answer calls/messages. Once you are in a contract they no longer care about you as a customer. read more
