James came out and installed a new 30amp circuit for our heat pump water heater, in our garage. Wow, does he have incredible attention to detail. As a retired kitchen contractor, I really appreciate that. Not only did he install the circuit cleanly and quickly, but he cleaned up the jumble of wiring in my panel, making it look beautiful. Huge thanks to Moriset Construction and Electrical! I really did not know who to turn to for help with installing and setting up a Channel Master antenna and finding out why my entry hall light would not go on! James arrived ready and prepared to help me out. He took a look at the antenna package and found a better way to install the antenna. He was done with that in no time! Then he tacked the switch issues and discovered some issues with how the wiring had been done. He was able to track the wiring and give me an explanation of what had been done and what to do with that switch and the outlet. He also checked two more outlets and secured the wiring on the latter one so that the wires were secure and would not arc and start a fire. The work was clean and the areas were all tidied up. James was pleasant and a delight to have in my home. You can believe that I will be contact him again for help with my Ring system and other electrical questions. I needed some electrical work done around the house and contacted James to get a quote over the phone...he provided prices and confirmed he could do the work I needed, which involved installing some canned lights that rotate/gimbal and putting them on their own new dimmer switch, installing a recessed power box in a wall so we could power smart lights behind some art, replacing a standard outlet with a new outlet that has USB outlets built in, and installing a new outdoor power outlet on the front of the house. We made an appt and he showed up exactly as planned and completed all work the same day with no issues. He explained what he was doing (or needed to do) and when he found a couple issues along the way (from previous poor electrical work that was done before we bought the house) he explained what the issue was and how he would fix it. He put down tarp to catch any debris that fell as he was cutting holes in the walls/ceiling and warned me ahead of time of potential dust due to what he needed to do. So, I found this guy by the luck of a draw few years back. Did a full renovation remodel of our home and all brand new electrical, still everything is tip top shape. That was almost 7 years ago and still my go to guy for any electrical questions. Did another upgrade to an electrical dryer plug in, which we had gas before. Even called again about electric tankless water heater systems and his knowledge about that! James is not only honest, but extremely experienced with knowledge of just about everything!! He's very professional, quick to responding and gets the job done to satisfaction. His pricing is very fair and extremely reasonable, he keeps up with codes and all up to date new electrical stuff plus then some. When you're doing new construction or just replacing, upgrading... We hired James to rewire several runs of aluminum branch wire that we discovered in our house. We chose James because he was very upfront about his pricing--we were able to use his pricing model to build an accurate quote based on exactly what we needed done. This honest and upfront approach was refreshing compared to our other quotes that were very vague about what exactly would and would not be covered. His prices are very reasonable for running new lines, switching out receptacles, and adding/replacing light fixtures. We are thrilled with the results. James was extremely efficient (done several days ahead of schedule!) and very precise. My husband is very picky about things lining up correctly, being level, etc. and James blew him away with his craftsmanship. In fact just had people come in to give us drywall quotes and they remarked on how clean and minor the drywall holes were compared to the average electrician or plumber. After seeing his work we asked him to additionally redo the lighting in our garage and add new can lights to our living room and family room, all of which he was able to do while still finishing the job early. One caveat that should be noted--if you are immunocompromised and concerned about COVID, be aware that James does not like to work with a mask on. I am very pregnant and my hospital will consider me a "high-risk pregnancy" if I get COVID and will make me jump through various extra medical hoops. Because of this, I generally tried to stay outside of the house and/or masked while James was working and this worked out fine--he was courteous about giving me plenty of space when I needed to pop in for whatever reason. read more
