They come, they make promises they force you to sign a contract by promising you the world they damage your house. The technician didn't show up with in the time frame. The system text messaged that the technician was on the way and be there in 15 min well past the 2 hour windo.. 45 minutes passes.. I had to leave for an important appointment that I did miss. And then I get a call the the technician is on the way... again!!! Wasted 4 hours of my life, ruined an important meeting, missed lunch, and almost missed dinner with friends. This business is a total scam and fraud. They are a third party installer of ADT home security equipment. They do not stand by their work. When I was locked out of my house due to the failure of their equipment, they charged my credit card $59 to investigate. They laughingly told me that it would be 3 days before the technician would arrive. Laughable. Then they recommended a locksmith! Cost me $260 to get in! Pathetic. Avoid this scam! read more

Truly wish I could give no stars at all. I've being trying to resolve things for 6 months. They are a scam. They have people come to your home lying saying they've been sent by your mortgage company. LIES!!! I've not had service since 3weeks after installation... that was a little over 6 months ago. They had a technician come and bust holes in my walls and promised they'd repair it...NOPE! AND LET'S ADD INSULT SOMEONE BROKE INTO MY HOME AND NOT ONE ALARM SOUNDED. Talk about damage upon damage. There is no consideration, I'm completely suffering at the hands of this company. There's no value being exchanged there's only a money grab. They are taking money for a service they agreed to provide but have NOT. The emotional distress this is causing me is sicking. Company is garbage. Cameras in front of my house/ doorbell camera haven't worked since install. Randomly stopped getting notifications if a person, vehicle, or animal come into the zones. Spoke with numerous people trying to get the camera fixed but they said it's going to cost me $60. How am I expected to pay for something that hasn't worked since it was installed? Tried to cancel.. now all of a sudden there's a $1400 cancellation fee even though we were initially told by Alec Gathright there would be no cancelation fees. After the initial set-up/install you deal with ADT directly. Customer service is a pain to get in touch with as your on hold for hours at a time. The cameras that you pay for always seem to not work although it's not a internet issue-since everything else in your house works just fine that's connected. When you call to speak to a tech, (depending on who you get), they do not bother to help at all, only direct you to try and troubleshoot it yourself or want to change you a crazy fee to send someone out. Not sure why I need to pay $120 for 30min when it can be fixed remotely as it had before. Do not bother with this company find someone else or better yet just get a self monitoring system since that's what it appears I'm basically doing. read more

My second review warning to not do business with Safe Haven or ADT. I cancelled my service within 24 hours of learning their deceptive tactics, high cost, and yes a 3 year contract. Wow! These guys take the motto "The customer is always right," very seriously. It's surprising how many companies don't teach their employees that motto. I have learned it when I was 16 or 17 when I worked at JCPenney's in the 1970s. I will try to summarize my experience with ADT. They came and installed security systems. I couldn't be home, because I didn't have any vacation days left. My roommate instructed them to add extra security features that cost like more than $1300. I didn't authorize this. I just got off the phone with ADT. I had explained what happened. They agreed to come in and uninstall the security unauthorized by me, and to credit me for the extra charges. I bought my home January 2022, I paid over $3000.00 for my security system. My front door sensor has been a ongoing issue first it was bybassing. They came out didn't replace it about 3 months ago. Now the battery is saying it's low. I replaced it and now it's still saying it's low. I called done all of the tech support can't be fixed without them coming out. I called them they tell me it's going to cost $81 dollars. To come out and fix the same sensor that they should have replaced in the first place. I'm a disabled veteran i just keep giving you money like that. My husband died serving this country and this what kind of serivice i receieved. I bought my home from DR Horton, if you are going to do this get your own sercurtiy company. This company is trash ! I filed a BBB compliant as usual they lied in their response. Don't worry i going to stay on them. Now my door is back at bypassing saying it's the battery with a new battery in it. So oviously this isn't to problem Ray Charles can even see that. I asked to send out a new sensor they don't do that even if you pay for it. So now I will be calling the Attorney General Office here in Texas. Enough is enough ! I will be paying the $81 because I don't have a choice. As soon as my contract is up i am done with them period just sorry as hell. OMG! I will never ever conduct business with safe haven security again. I am a REALTOR and have referred quite a few clients to them for service after we closed on their new homes. But, I have a client who is a first responder and 8 months after buying her home, she received a new position as a travel nurse. So, we put the house on the market to sell and after closing on the property my client called to have the service canceled and was told unless the new owner signs up directly with this particular rep that my client would have to pay the balance of a 36-month contract (over a $1K) The previous rep said a 13-month contract. Very..... bad service especially for someone like my client who is a first responder. Hell there are tons of other service providers out here where you can just pay for your equipment a couple hundred dollars and your service every month without this type of commitment.
