Waterpoint Marina along Lake Conroe was a nice stop to have a relaxing walk and chat with family…read more Parking is free, and the boardwalk is well maintained. In the center of the pier, there is an observation hole, where you can feed the fish and have them come to the surface. There is a little coin operated fish food dispenser, which provides for entertainment for kids and husbands alike! We did find that the fish didn't want to have anything to do with that creepy observation hole, but were abundant on the outsides of the pier itself, and gobbled up their snacks. The marina was well maintained, and had very little refuse around, and no graffiti or any of that type of stuff. Very relaxing. I did notice that there wasn't a whole lot of seating. There was only a bench or two, which happened to be occupied the entire time we were there, so there was no place for our elders to get off their feet. There were a few shops along the marina, but none of them were open. There was really no place for light treats and snacks. I noted one or two expensive sit-down restaurants. I believe this Marina is still developing, as they are building and selling new condos in the area. So hopefully, they get more eateries and things to do along their beautiful pier. I didn't know that Lake Conroe was so huge! It seems to go on forever and feels like you are looking out into the endless ocean, and not just a lake. There are boat and slip rentals available in the marina. I think if I lived here, I would probably visit often.

We had 50 guests and every single person commented on what a fantastic time they had. Every staff member was professional and took excellent care of our guests. Working with James Winkler was awesome. He helped us in every aspect of getting the party set up and was always available to answer all of our questions. He even helped me when our DJ backed out 5 days before the party. I can not recommend them enough.

The gentleman told me it was like tent camping only sheltered. It was that...a 2 bed small four wall enclosure. I think there would have been more room in my motorcycle camper, but would have still needed to use the restroom. We were ok with the close quarters and luckily enough I had asked if we needed to bring our own bedding, towels, etc. Which we did, sure glad I asked because the information was not volunteered. I'm sure glad because we probably would not have used theirs. After making the bed we decided to check out where the rest/shower room was. YUK!! Did I say YUK! It was thoroughly disgusting! I came out of the building and told my husband I would eat the $40/night fee if he would find us a room in town. I was afraid to turn the water on in fear the water would be brown and the bugs that were everywhere!! Camping would not have been that buggy! Clean your bathrooms please!! If you had your own bathroom and sleeping facility, I think this would be a nice place to stay. They did refund our $20 pet fee since we didn't stay, but would not refund the next night. We will not be back!

We were the only ones over here. All the other RVers were at the Southern RV sites. Most of the RV sites are 30 amp. They have a few 50 amp spots. They have water at all the sites that I can see, except the tent or day use sites. No sewer hookups at the sites. They do have dump stations. The marina is well stocked with snacks, drinks, bait and fishing equipment. I only gave them 4 stars because the restrooms at the camp are atrociously disgusting (use your own). Update on one of the restrooms: the one at the marina was ok - it looked and smelled clean on the inside.

We drove to the park to see if that perfect RV spot had opened up and was stopped by a very rude standoffish woman which we learned was the owner/manager Kathy (so she said). One thing I know real well is how to approach and welcome a prospective resident; a "Hello may I help you" with a smile is how you approach a person, but instead got a sharp rude "What do you need." Right then with her comment and mannerism I knew this was not where we want to be. We are sad that Good Times will not be our future home but dealing with a rude manager is not a place we want to call home. We never had a chance to try the restaurant which has rave reviews but be choose not to patronize a place management is not welcoming. Suggestion Ms Kathy practice you social skills when approaching a person.

They have no A/C but plenty of fans going and cold beer, tvs for the games and good food. Horseshoe bar, plenty of tables, very friendly staff. The burger was on point, the rings were typical frozen bag and the shrooms were par but I still enjoyed it. They have load of other things on the menu to tickle your fancy. If you want a change of scenery, food and drinks then sneak off to Good Times Marina. Till we eat again.

During our stay, we experienced significant noise issues despite claims of a no-noise policy after…read more10 PM. It was difficult to sleep during our first two nights due to loud music and vehicles coming in and out at all hours. I understand that our location was close to the boat ramp, which contributed to some of the noise, but the music blasting at 2 AM was unacceptable, especially with a supposed "no loud noise after 10 PM" policy in place. Additionally, the guidelines stated that only golf carts were allowed, but this rule was clearly ignored. We heard dirt bikes, four-wheelers, and side-by-sides throughout the nights. I may sound like a complainer, but after four days here, I'm exhausted from the lack of sleep. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. On top of that, many parents weren't watching their children. We saw kids running through our paid camping spot when there were clear sidewalks for them to use. One child even started crying because our dog, who was leashed the entire time, growled at him. If the child had been on the sidewalk instead of running through other people's camping spots, he wouldn't have gotten scared. Now, let's talk about the boat ramp, which was the reason we chose our spots. We have always used Browsets boatRamp, but we encountered kids playing at the ramp while others, including us, were trying to load our boats as an incoming storm approached. It was chaotic. I bet the kid couldn't have been older than 10. Where was the management during all this? If it was the guy on the golf cart, they might want to consider finding someone else. He didn't say anything to the person who dumped an entire tent into the water or to the kids throwing trash into the lake. He did appreaently what he does best and sit in the golf cart!
