Waterpoint Marina along Lake Conroe was a nice stop to have a relaxing walk and chat with family…read more Parking is free, and the boardwalk is well maintained. In the center of the pier, there is an observation hole, where you can feed the fish and have them come to the surface. There is a little coin operated fish food dispenser, which provides for entertainment for kids and husbands alike! We did find that the fish didn't want to have anything to do with that creepy observation hole, but were abundant on the outsides of the pier itself, and gobbled up their snacks. The marina was well maintained, and had very little refuse around, and no graffiti or any of that type of stuff. Very relaxing. I did notice that there wasn't a whole lot of seating. There was only a bench or two, which happened to be occupied the entire time we were there, so there was no place for our elders to get off their feet. There were a few shops along the marina, but none of them were open. There was really no place for light treats and snacks. I noted one or two expensive sit-down restaurants. I believe this Marina is still developing, as they are building and selling new condos in the area. So hopefully, they get more eateries and things to do along their beautiful pier. I didn't know that Lake Conroe was so huge! It seems to go on forever and feels like you are looking out into the endless ocean, and not just a lake. There are boat and slip rentals available in the marina. I think if I lived here, I would probably visit often.

We had 50 guests and every single person commented on what a fantastic time they had. Every staff member was professional and took excellent care of our guests. Working with James Winkler was awesome. He helped us in every aspect of getting the party set up and was always available to answer all of our questions. The main dockhand is gone all of a sudden, so nothing is getting done now. The weeds are overgrown, and while there's a shiny new building, the docks are sinking and rotting away. The bathrooms are full of waste and bugs, and the bulletin hasn't been updated since September. I used to see pressure washing every time I went, and the last few times, it's a mess. Tired of the front they put up. Not friendly. Try to play up their game without truly having any game whatsoever.

Afternoon catfish trip on the second day of spring and captain Ryan did not disappoint. He has a…read morenice pontoon boat that provides a great steady platform to fish from. He also has a Garmin fish finder at the front of the boat where you can actually watch the fish bite. Ryan was on time and we left the dock at 1 pm as scheduled. We arrived at the first spot Ryan had picked less than 10 minutes later and had the first keeper in the boat about a minute after getting our lines in the water. We caught fish at each of the three locations we fished at and were never more than 20 minutes from the marina. We caught over 40 catfish in 4 hours, one hybrid striped bass and a large perch. Great trip, highly recommended.

Refused to fix damage and also revoked our privileges to use the boat launch at all. Talked to them 3 different times and this was the solution they came up with. Absolutely NO customer service at all and refusal to accept responsibility that something actually might be wrong with your automatic gate. Just shut down the complaint with kicking us out. Big company Right Move Storage buying out another small storage unit and running it into the ground with greed.

I stopped at the back door of Starbucks and the man from the boat rental place immediately stormed out, "Can I help you". I explained I was waiting for the Starbucks man, (a few minutes only), and the Boat company man shouted, "You F*@&%! It all up. He told me to park in the employees only spot, which I did. If I ever decided to become a Boat club member, I'd skip this place. I don't like being verbally attacked by a man like that!

As for the Owner/Capt. - another wonderful person to work with. I joined mid-Dec 2021 (a late Christmas Present to me & my Son) weather has been crazy but soon will change. I look forward to "quality boating memories with my son", as College is just going by too quick. As of this writing; March 2022 yes gas prices are up but - as well as FBC LC maintains their fleet AND got several new boats, if driven at an enjoyable speed, you'll still make Memories at FBC LC with Family and Friends, without breaking the bank.
