I've bought two bikes here, both Hondas: CRF300L & CB750 Hornet. Both buys went smoothly with zero issues. The staff is friendly and professional. The salesman Zach's enthusiasm for and knowledge of bikes was obvious and appreciated. I also get service done here, again with zero issues. I noticed some reviews complaining about how long their bike was in the shop. But these are bikes, and even being near a major city like Houston doesn't guarantee parts availability in the time frame we want. But every time I called to bother them about my bike Jonathan took my call and took the time to update me on where they were in the process. More importantly, when I did get my bike back it ran perfectly, and I could ride confidently again. I'll definitely get my next bike here too. read more

Took more time in the drive through getting lunch than it did to finish putting on my Michelin. Everyone at work recommended them even though it was a 60 mile drive. Well worth it. If I could give zero stars it would be more accurate. I've been in twice to look at bikes. Both times salesmen had no passion for bikes or people. Today was the worst experience. I'd call the salesman out by name but he never offered it, old gray haired with beard and glasses, total douche nozzle. Asked him about the bike I was looking at and he didn't have anything to say just stared at us. Asked a specific question and got a two word response. The bike was priced to sell, but I'd rather drive to Houston or San Antonio and pay more than deal with a shop that has zero passion for bikes or riders. read more

Before dropping by, I checked out a competitor further south on I 45 in a less safe neighborhood. I was treated poorly by the sales woman there while shopping for a half helmet. I gave this place a try. The sales people allowed me to freely look at helmets And allowed me to take some out of the box so that I could try them on. I made a purchase here. I recently purchased my seventh bike (first Honda), from this dealership. It was a very easy sale for my salesman, as I knew what exactly I wanted, and paid in full on the spot. Some "hiccups" (delays/vehicle preparation/etc.) with the sale encounter. No harm/no foul, as I was completely satisfied with the bike. This review is directed to their service department, and will hopefully invoke a revision in their definition of "service." At minimum, may it provide any future consumer with a pause, and consideration of taking their hard-earned dollars elsewhere. I had two separate encounters with the service desk, the most recent of which was with a young, skinny kid with a goatee that was very rude, argumentative, and flat out condescending. I simply had a couple questions regarding scheduling a quick service to tighten up my chain, and what specific spanner tool that I would need to service my chain in the future. I was also considering at the time to bring my bike in for it's 600 mile service, however, after this interaction, I wouldn't trust this staff anywhere near my bike. I would at all costs avoid bringing your vehicle to this dealership. I've dealt with several dealerships having owned 6 previous bikes (Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Indian). Never experienced such a display of aggressive disdain toward a customer, ever. This dealership certainly does NOT reflect the quality of the Honda brand, and leaves a lot to be desired. My first-hand recommendation is to take your business to another dealership -- particularly if you value professionalism, and well ... customer service. Ride safe! read more

The main reason I bought from this dealer was because of the parts guy. I went in looking for a helmet for my motorcycle. Carl helped me pick the correct style, make safety decisions and helped me look for a safe riding jacket. He stopped his work and helped me for about 20 minutes. Bought a 2020 CRF 150r from Cycle shack north for my son for Christmas. When the driver dropped it off I wasn't home and my older son took possession. The delivery driver couldn't get the bike to start and left my son with a non running bike. This bike takes a good 30-40 mins go get it to fire if at all. When I called the service department to ask about getting it picked up and looked at I was informed by Cody that the hike would most likely need a bigger pilot jet to run properly and that I would have to bring the bike back and pay for a repair. Having spent 6 thousand dollars on a bike I wasn't happy. Cody's response was "I'm not here to argue with you sir" New 6k bike that I have to fix myself because the deal doesn't stand by the products they sell. 1. why would you deliver a bike that wouldn't start? 2. If it's a common problem why not replace the $10 jet As part of the "set up fee" 3. Why not inform me of the problem before I buy as a heads up 4. stand by the product you happily took my money for? BEWARE!!!!!!!! ATV took a month to repair and was diagnosed incorrectly. Agreed to install expensive part and still had the same problem (incorrect diagnosis was determined after I contacted a reliable Honda shop).Was charged 2nd diagnosis and another part was required. Mike the service manger was polite but not any assistance in the invoice being reduced for the 1st diagnosis labor cost of $360. Picked the atv up today and found oil level barely touching dipstick after being charged for 3 quarts oil. Then found what appears to be the washer for oil drain plug in cup holder. Recommend not using this shop but if you do don't say you were not warned. My mistake was I did not read the reviews first. read more

Buying experience is good. But take into consideration that once you leave with brand new buggy they could care less. Service department is garbage! Warranty work is unheard of. Everything is lack of maintenance or something you did and is chargeable. I recommend Ross Motorsports. The couple of times I went very helpful. I have a new 2013 Honda CBR500RA ABS and brought my bike to Cycle Shack North for the 600 mile oil change and valve check. The valve check is a very labor intensive, involved service that I was hesitant to entrust to the shop where I had originally purchased my bike: Stubbs Honda off of Telephone Road and 610 in Houston. Number one it is way too far from where I live in The Woodlands. Number two most of their staff have a bad attitude and the finance manager should be investigated for fraudulent business practices. But I digress.... I had visited Cycle Shack North to check the place out prior to my first service and to buy some new gloves. I visited the service department at the time and was very impressed. A service technician was in the middle of a valve check/adjustment of a new CBR500. The service department was clean, neat and well-organized. I was impressed with how the bike parts (fairings, gas tank, etc.) were carefully arranged near the bike and were placed on mats to protect from scratches. I knew at that point that I had found the service department for my bike. I dropped my bike off at 9:00 am on a Saturday morning and was preparing to wait for over five hours (the engine has to cool down prior to beginning the valve service) in the waiting area due to the fact that I didn't have a ride back to my house. Mike, the service manager graciously offered to arrange a ride for me back to my house and Kevin, a very courteous and professional employee brought me back to my house so I wouldn't be tied up at the dealership all day. It gets better. Mike called me at 4 pm and said that my bike was ready and that Kevin would trailer it to my house if I wanted. I was very impressed with this and took him up on his offer. Cycle Shack North will have all of my service business on my bike and I plan on purchasing a mini dirt bike for my five year nephew from there this Christmas. I have a lot of respect for the sales staff, service staff, and the parts staff I have interacted with at Cycle Sports North. This is how all businesses should be run. read more

My girlfriend wants me to be gentle here so I will just explain the facts and you can decide. I called Cycle Shack twice about installing the M4 slip-on exhaust on my 2015 Yamaha FJ09. I was quoted two different prices. Due to the second quote being much lower I decided to let them do the job. I dropped off the parts the day before. I woke up early to be first in line at 7:45 Saturday morning. I then went to breakfast where I received a call an hour later saying that they could not perform the work due to an agreement with Yamaha. Really?? So a good three hours of my day wasted because two people on the phone could not tell me this during my first call. That is BS in my book. read more

CUSTOMER SERVICE LACKING. I do not read long reviews so I don't write long reviews. 1. Took bike in for repair. "About 2 weeks" became nearly a month. 2. Had to return bike so they could redo the repair; properly this time. 3. Went into parts department (separate occasion) for a warranty issue on a helmet I had purchased. Warranty instructions specified to take it to the store. They would not take care of it, but wanted to send it to manufacturer, with 3 - 4 week turn around. Reputable places I have dealt with would just switch it out then deal with manufacturer. I have more to say but for the sake of brevity... I WILL NOT GO BACK THERE. 'Nuff said. read more

Had my bike in a while back to get valves adjusted and a overall check because i had been having breaking issues. i get the bike back without the valves adjusted (they said it didnt need it) but Apparently they checked the breaks and adjusted my clutch. I'm excited to get the bike back and figured that for the almost $300 i was charged everything would be kosher, i dont mind paying for good work .i go to pick up the bike and Breaks still seemed funny but they said they were all good after informing about the handful of rides they took on it to check for a possible oil leak (no leak ever found) Month or so later im still having the same break issue so i decided to check my own breaks only to find out they are full of air. same breaking power was had before and after taking it to the shop which i can only assume they didnt check anything. i decide no big deal ill just take care of it myself and lesson learned on them couple weeks after that im riding and have my clutch start not engage. I limp the bike home to do a check and i find my clutch cables (that they adjusted) are extremely tight (more then what the manuel says). after multiple issues i decided to call the shop. after a couple days i finally get a hold of Mike and explain to him all the issues ive been having. I inform him i know my clutch is dead and i can do it myself but i wanted to give the shop another opportunity to fix the issues i believe they caused, he tells me with my clutch being old they just go out, which i understand except one of his techs had the cables way too tight putting unnecessary stress on a clutch that is older. we talk for a bit and Mike tells me to bring the bike in and he'll take a look and make things right After the insane headache of getting a trailer and time to bring the bike up i get a call soon after that the Clutch is dead and im looking at over $450.... I ask for him to talk to Mike because of all the issues ive been having. He calls me back 10min later and mike can help me out by knocking $40 off.... No thanks... i just paid them $300 to go in and do nothing, now they want another $450 to fix issues i believe they caused. I ask them to pack it up and ill be there to get it. i was happy to pay for parts but its a slap in the face to re charge me full labor for your mistakes. I arrive to a $90 diagnostic fee, which was to have them tell me the information i already know. the front Desk guy helped me out the best he could but im beyond disappointed and done having any bikes worked on at Cycle Shack. if youre smart youll pay attention to the 1 star reviews and not ignore them like i did. read more

The guy didn't even introduced himself so I don't know his name. When I asked to test ride the motorcycle, the answer was we don't do that. Really? Was not given an option to order and wait for gaskets before putting bike in shop. Was not given option to pay for expedited shipping. Good place for tire replacement, but not for in depth repairs. read more
