STAY FAR AWAY. Originally signed up for the service for wasp issues last year. Was told they would always be covered under my quarterly payments. Well they serviced my house a few weeks ago and already have DOZENS of wasps nests. Called Saela and they want to charge me another $119 to come out again because it's "optional" What happened to the protection plan? lol Horrible service. Jaime was the one who straight up said that it doesn't matter what the salesman told me, I have to pay extra for wasps they didn't get in their original service. Absolute Scam. Steer very clear!! This company will charge you ridiculous prices for barely five minutes of work. I only signed up because of the wasps I had in my fence. But I have had to have them come back several times after service because the wasps werent addressed. They dont even try to spray up in the eaves of your home for them even though I keep telling them they are there. Next thing you know, they scam you into a separate service to spray your turf and foliage for mosquitos for another $100 a month. I thought I gave them permission to do it once and I signed off on what I thought was a single service. My total bad for not reading the fine print after service. I guess I signed up for a whole year. They sweep nothing out of the corners or porch, like cobwebs or spider webs, like other companies I have had. All of that was promised to me when I signed up. I don't even have their services because I have dogs, cats, chickens, and BEES but Saela employees can't seem to read addresses and keep trespassing onto my property and spraying, putting my animals' health at risk. I talked with Paul, the employee that can't read addresses, and he was a real dumb ass. Gave me his supervisor's name and some 1800 number that linked to a call center in bfe. Paul also didn't think it was a big deal that he sprayed shit all over that could kill my bees. I hate that my neighbors use this company. Next time a Saela dumbass steps one foot on my property there will be more than just me yelling. read more

If where were zero stars that is what this company would get! They promise the world and deliver nothing! Their salespeople will lie to you telling you that they will eliminate all types of pests but if you happen to have an insect problem that requires repeated and frequent sprays, they will tell you that the USDA will not allow them to spray more often than their routine service schedule which is horse hockey! To eliminate rodents, they use the old-fashioned mouse traps that I could buy at any hardware store and if a rodent is caught guess who gets to empty the trap? not Saela, it isn't on their scheduled visit. Saela is awful. Customer service is nonexistent. They made it incredibly difficult for us to cancel the service after the account holder died. We had to send the death certificate TWICE, and even then there was pushback. I would NEVER recommend them, even to my worst enemy. read more

1 year of basic service was included when buying my house. I called to get the service scheduled and they mentioned another service. I asked if it was included and they said yes but I'd need to sign some documents. I signed thinking I needed to give them permission to spray on my property. Turns out they locked me into a 12 month contract even though the person told me it was included. The customer service is horrible. It takes 45 minutes of being on hold to talk to anyone and then they try to avoid answering any questions. I would never recommend this to anyone read more

What a scam - I changed pest control companies for mice. The last company had 14 bait stations and Saela's rule is two. Mice came back with a vengeance so called them and they said for an additional fee they could place 2 more. To only place two even though our property needed more. I do not understand why this company is so inflexible with their appointments. Last week we were out of the country and I received an email notification of my appointment the next day. I responded to this email to reschedule the appointment and I quickly informed (by email) that "appointments cannot be changed or cancelled". The technician reported that the service was completed, but I am uncertain how the technician got through two locked gates. My experience is, this company does not listen to their customers. Maybe it is time to find a new service provider. read more

Saela pest control is a scam business using pest control as a cover. A very earnest, engaging salesperson comes to your door promising professional, exceptional service. They have you sign a contract for 12-18 months that cannot be terminated without paying 1/2 of the remaining contract and arbitration. They sent a drug hazed tech to our home that no one would let into their house. They did not give 1-3 business days notice prior to service. They also inspected attic as part of their rodent package and recommend boric acid infused insulation and disinfectant for $7,400-15,000 (you read that right) to remediate possible hantavirus mice. STAY AWAY! Deceitful company. I strongly advise NOT to sign any contract with Saela. They communicate poorly and in the end will throw you under the bus rather than serve the customer. I was a great customer who always paid and was kind to them. After my agreement was over, I attempted to cancel multiple times due to selling the house and moving... and yet a rep still shows up without permission and they tried to bill me for services after I canceled. The techs that come out are fine enough, but this service is very expensive for what you get. The worst part is they make it impossible to cancel. I've waited on hold for an hour with no one answering, I have been promised call backs that haven't come, and I had someone say they'd bump out my next service while waiting for call back (note - the service was not bumped out and the poor tech came this morning expecting to work). This company is trash when it comes to communication. Update: I finally got a call back, but was put into a queue with no end in sight. Final Update: A total of three calls (including the one call back that was finally received), about 75 minutes of being on hold, and I finally was able to cancel. The service technicians are great. They are thorough, polite and will take their time to answer questions. Typically, I The office is another issue. You CANNOT get anyone on the phone. I've been on hold all afternoon. I got a person via text. I was over billed and could not talk to anyone. The text people cannot talk on the phone. I also wanted to cancel my auto-renewal but you have to talk to someone in person. I want to decide at renewal time which services to keep. Nobody could give me a straight answer about when the contract on my add-on service expired. read more

Called 3 times before I got someone who spoke fairly good English and then there wasn't an available time for a service man to come for a week. Garbage company, service doesn't work. We now have more bugs than we have ever had. They will tell you that they need to spray more because they are trying to interrupt the hatching cycle, but if their service worked then the bugs would be gone. Company has terrible communication within the company! Asked to simply call or text before tech arrived so I could be sure my dog was inside the home. This was a re-service for a job poorly done previously. No call or text was ever made. Did not do the need services while there for the second time. Once again had to schedule another appt. when rescheduling the tech trued to get me to wait until my next service. Stating the get couldn't come out for another 2 weeks!!!! Contract states they will come out within 72 hrs for a re-service if needed. Finally after much debate they agreed to come out in 3 days. This situation happen twice. I have had several pest control companies in the past. I have never had any issues with any of them!! Clearly this company has their clients in contracts. Therefore the they get stuck in terrible service while the company continues to make a profit off of them. Needless to say I would no recommend this company. read more

Saela Pest Control refuses to work with their customers to schedule their expensive reoccurring services, and gives you 30 minutes notice at best when arriving to your house. My service for this past May never even occurred, and the reservice that I scheduled also went without them showing up to my house to complete the service. I was charged $130 for a service that never occurred. Upon going to Saela to express my desire to discontinue services with the company due to services not being provided, I was informed I would be charged several hundred dollars for doing this. They offered to cut a measly 20 dollars off my remaining services but could not end the services they weren't even providing without a charge. This company traps you in long term contracts, doesn't fulfill the services they advertise, and refuses to negotiate with customers who unhappy that they are unhappy with being charged high prices without receiving the services promised by the company. Do not do business with this company unless you want to be completely ripped off. The customer is always last with these frauds. read more

I have been with Edge/Saela for several years. All was good until I decided to cancel my service. Then they told me that I was tied to an auto renewal contract. I emailed them my request to cancel and they told me that all cancellations must be done over the phone. They make cancellations very difficult. They try to tie customers to an auto renewal contract. I'd understand that if they did something up front to get the contract like providing equipment or an up front customer bonus. That make it ridiculously difficult to cancel. Stay away from Saela. They are worse than cable companies. Avoid them like a bad disease. read more

My mom and dad used their services not understanding fully what they were signing up to, and the moment I got a hold of them and tried to make them understand that they were not in the capacity to sign up for anything, they refused to cooperate and told me they charge a cancellation fee and charge the services that were not yet provided. I would like to leave zero stars. We asked Edge to spray for wasps. They have a set contract which had them spraying for everything which is not what we wanted. They invited us to amend the contract for just what we wanted. They then sprayed for everything, ignored the contract that we amended and they agreed to. When I pointed it out, they said that contract changes are not permitted then charged us for the services we didn't want plus three more treatments. The sales team is not in sync with the service team and you pay for any mistakes they make X a factor of three. Use someone else. Unscrupulous and unprofessional. read more

If there was a way to give no stars, I would do that. This company misrepresents information, even when pointed out and assured terms are removed from the contract; they apparently then do not remove it. Their customer service is horrible - I tried to use their chat/text feature on the website - it took a very long time to get a response. When asking to cancel service, they tell you that has to be done verbally on the phone. I called the number, and when they tried to charge me a cancelation fee I ask to for it to be escalated. I did this on 4 different days. The hold times were 33 minutes, 1 hour and 21 minutes, 32 minutes and 38 minutes. Once someone answered, they could not help and refused to escalate, saying they could not do that when calling back, I could hear the person I had just spoken with in the background. Typical call center dishonestly. They used fake names and simply repeated their script over and over. No help, no resolution. Filing complaints with appropriate governmental agencies. Still persisted that I try them out and said he'll cancel my current provider because he knows him. Salesman: Chris Quintana was unprofessional and pushy. When I tried to cancel with Chris he just sent me a cancellation phone number that never responded or called me back. Tried to cancel with them for 3 weeks and still no response. Got in contact with their Customer Service and now they're making me pay for 50% cancellation fee. I've told them what happened with their Salesman and they're still demanding that I pay the fee because of their guidlines. I wish their salesman was as compliant to their guidelines as their cancellation team is. I have regretted this decision the moment I hung up with the Salesman. Edge Pest control offers unlimited free reservice if the homeowner notices issues with pests. Edge has been servicing my house since July 2018 and in 3 years of service, which comes to around $2000, they failed to fix the basic issues with insects and rodents. When I called them for reservice, the reservice was futile. All the attempts to work with the service provider to fix the problem has failed. Last time Edge serviced my house was on Sep 23 2021 and their service agent did not treated the inside of the house at all. They did not properly took care of outside of the house and told me that the December service is the most important and that I should continue their services. It sounded fishy, but I thought they at least would be professional in providing the service. Later I checked the video recordings on my motion sensor cameras and there was no activity around the house captured on those, which signals that the agent did not serviced the house at all and charged me for a fake service. Yesterday I discovered traces of mice infestation around and inside the house and when I called them to fix the issue by providing a reservice, they told me that they will charge me for the reservice and they cannot treat the issues which were not addressed in the last service. read more
