They simply came. They did their termite extermination (which is an intensive-like process), and I no longer have termites. They are very knowledgeable and expert in termite riddance. Termite termination is very expensive so you want to make sure you have people with 40 and 30 years worth of experience and absolutely know what they're doing. These people have that and do.

Approximately 3 months ago, Turf Plus was aerating my neighbors lawn and hit our fence with their machine. In turn causing damage to our fence that needed repair. I called Turf Plus immediately after it happened, and came to an agreement on the cost of repairs for the fence. Turf Plus shortly after sent us a check for $100 and we repaired our fence, after all accidents happen. Last week I scheduled an appointment with them to service our lawn. Told them what times I would be available and scheduled it for the following Friday. Friday morning, I called and spoke with the receptionist before the technicians left and told her that I needed them to come in the morning instead of before 1 PM or after 4 PM. She told me that it was fine, that she would have the technician call me. The technician called me a half an hour later, to tell me she would be coming to service the lawn between 5-7 PM. I told her that the time would not work, that no one would be home. She then asked me to leave my fence open, so she could still come. I explained it was not possible with our dogs and that we would not be returning soon enough for them to be let back outside. She then stated that I needed to reschedule for the following week, I told her that I couldn't because I will be having a baby. She told me to call the receptionist and see if I could be rescheduled. I called the receptionist and explained the situation to her. She told me she would call me back. Shortly after, I received a text message, not a call back. The message stated, "Hi Mrs. Shepherd this is Dana the manager with Turf Plus. I'm sorry we're unable to please you. Please find another company to service your lawn." I was shocked! They didn't even try to reschedule me! I called the receptionist back, Dana answered the phone. I asked him if he thought is was appropriate to send me a text, he stated that it seemed like I was unhappy. I explained to him the several conversations that I had, had with the other employees earlier, which he was unaware of. That I would have preferred to have been rescheduled, to which he replied that I couldn't the following week. I agreed and told him I was having a baby, but that I wasn't going to be in the hospital for forever. He then stated that they weren't making any money on our business, because he paid us for our fence they had damaged a few months back. I told him, that their technician breaking our fence had nothing to do with me, that we were still continuing to do business with them, and the amount that they paid us was their offer, not mine! Anyway, needless to say, we are no longer doing business with them. Unfortunate that it is poorly managed and due to improper communication between their staff. They have lost a loyal customer, who has referred many people to them.

Some kind of bug/pest was eating everything in my newly planted garden! I researched it as much as I could and tried to get rid of it with no success. I broke down and called Jeff with Summit. I only with I had not waited so long! He came to my house first thing the next morning. He had it taken care of before I had all my kids ready for the day. Ants, baby grasshoppers, aphids, spider mites and snails. If I had just called Summit when I first saw any of these bugs I would have saved myself a lot of money in destroyed plants. Let alone the time and energy put into it all. Summit is by far the most affordable and comprehensive care I have found. Despite these scheduling issues, the technicians are generally very reliable, with and providing excellent service. I would rate the overall service at 4.7 stars, but the individual technicians often deserve 4.9 to 5.0+ stars, depending on who comes out. There are very good technicians in the team. We appreciate Thorns hard work to come out and keep our house up to date with their service. The service technicians always wear foot coverings when they work on the inside of the home. They came to cut down a VERY large Evergreen pine tree--72 years old and about 100 ft tall. They worked with the power company because our electrical connection to the power lines prohibited chopping it down easily. When the power company missed appointments set to address the issue, it threw a monkey wrench into their ability to take care of us as they wanted. But they weren't thwarted. Though it took a more circuitous route, they effectively took huge branches off, then felled the main trunk. Finally, they cleaned up all the leavings. They were excellent at what they did. They exhibited creativity in crafting solutions for such a daunting problem in a small space. They were very respectful in all their communication. We would highly recommend this team.
