Aptive Environmental- They schedule you for service monthly regardless of what you agree to up front (We are only supposed to get a service once quarterly). They are also supposed to give us a week's notice. That hasn't happened yet. They try to tell you you're locked into a two year contract and can't cancel. However, they have yet to actually follow through on their end of said contract. Run far, far away from this group!! read more

I executed a contract for services with Aptive out of Provo for my home in Eagle, Idaho. When I wanted to cancel the services because we were moving out, Aptive sent my call to India. They charged me a $199 cancelation fee for a $68 per month service. I had paid $544 for monthly services. Don't fall for the phony discount !!! read more

I have used this company on and off in the past. They used to be much better than they are presently. They are much more expensive but have not been providing the same level of service. They have not been on time, plus they have said that they showed up when they haven't. They have changed our appointments without notifying us at all. I have had to call and threaten to cancel our contract in order to get any help. And even I had to get aggressive and demand to speak with a supervisor to get any help. They did offer me a free treatment for my problems I have encountered. I also had to sign a 2 year contact which I wasn't happy about. At this point I wouldn't recommend them. read more

I selected Aptive based on a neighbor's recommendation. When we signed the contract were told by the sales agent that we were receiving the best possible price Aptive could provide. Several months into the contract I learned that a friend was getting a much better price. To add an insult to this discovery that I had been lied to, I also learned that I was being charged full price. I brought this to the attention of Aptive. Their best solution was to take the value of my cancellation fee, divided it by the number of months left in my contract, and made that my new payment. It was clear they were not going to do anything attempt to re-earn or retain my business beyond the length of my contract. My new service is every bit as thorough and a significant discount compared to Aptive's adjusted pricing. Ending my business relationship with Aptive was the right move. Never entering into a business relationship with Aptive would have been a better move. read more

Wow. They sent an UNMASKED door-to-door solicitor to my house at 9:03PM. I have THREE signs on my door. "NO SOLICITORS", "Immunocompromised People in Home - Leave Packages" and "NEW BORN BABY SLEEPING - DO NOT KNOCK OR RING BELL". This solicitor stood there, read them all and then proceeded to KNOCK on my door at 9:03PM. This woke up my dogs and my 3 kids. I contacted other neighbors and he did this up and down my street. I called Aptive and they were very rude and unapologetic. If you are a parent of young children, you will understand what it takes to get your kids to sleep. I've been very pleased with the actual pest service we've received from Aptive, but won't be continuing with them due to their customer service when it comes to contracts and scheduling. First, all the technicians who have come to our house have been thorough, professional and friendly. Top marks there. Scheduling is trickier. They send you a text announcing what day they're coming, but there is no timeframe whatsoever given. If you need to be home when the technician comes (to do the inside of your house, for example), you'll have to give them your entire day since you don't know when they might show up until 20 minutes beforehand. You can reschedule if you're out on an errand, but the next appointment might be weeks or longer away. It's a pretty inconvenient system. Finally (and the main reason we won't be continuing with Aptive), the contract you sign for services enrolls you in auto renewal, which you cannot cancel until your contract is over. Every major service at least allows you to cancel auto renewal before your contact is up, but not Aptive. They told me I have to call their office on the last day of my contract to cancel auto enrollment in more service, and that makes me mad. I don't want a company like that having my credit card information. I feel like they're hoping I'll forget to cancel so they can take more money from me (a common practice, sure, but still a greasy one--no thanks). Fix this, and the inconvenient scheduling, and I'll be an Aptive customer again! read more

Hello, my name is Shanda Eldridge-Cole, my address is 5150 Minerva Ave. St. Louis, MO 63113 - I have a regulsrly scheduled visit for TODAY Tuesday, June 6th, 2023. As of this writing it is 5pm CST and I have not seen or heard from my technician OR my service Manager. I've called EVERY number you post available only to be forwarded to the customer call center. I spoke to Justin, at the customer call center, he was very nice and apologized for the inconvenience, I have waited ALL day and I still have not heard from the Aptive office or technician. This is the second time this has happened. The first time, I called and got an immediate response from my technician. TODAY is a different story. NO response from my service manager verbal or text. This is UNACCEPTABLE. I tried to contact someone at the corporate level only to get the same message that forwarded me to the customer call center where the representative barely spoke clear English. I asked for the number to the corporate headquarters and the phone went silent, I asked several times. What the hell?? The young lady offered me the SAME number I had called previously. I am hoping these terribly UNPROFESSIONAL practices can be rectified. You aren't acting in"GOOD FAITH" with me the customer. I'm regretting doing business with you. Aptive invited individuals to hear a lecture given by Alex Honnold. It was amazing! This company promotes spirit and hard work. The facilities are clean and well stocked. Offices are open with lots of windows and you can tell that everyone works together to solve situations. They also have a complimentary soda fridge. Can't wait to go back! read more

Don't expect very much from Aptive service, managers, or the corporate office.  We did not receive our quarterly service that we were charged for.  We requested a call from management and never received a response other than them declining a reservice or a refund.  We contacted corporate and never received a response.  We co tacted the BBB and did receive a response.  They declined a refund and a re service with no explanation.  Very poor service. Our family has been using Aptive for a couple of years. Which is a fact that I did not know until recently, due to me inquiring about wanting a pest control company to come and spray for spiders, because we have always had a spider problem in the basement that I thought had never been addressed. Lo and behold, they had been spraying for years, and I had no idea! Why did I have no idea? BECAUSE IT DIDN'T WORK. I HAD NEVER SEEN A DECREASE IN BUGS OR SPIDERS. I decided to give them a second chance, thinking maybe we weren't specific enough, and came in with one simple, and specific request, "Hey Aptive, there are a lot of spiders that come into our basement through the window wells, could you take care of that for me?" They came and sprayed. THEY MIGHT AS WELL HAVE BEEN SPRAYING WITH WATER BECAUSE WE HAVE MORE SPIDERS THAN BEFORE. You may ask, "oh, maybe it wore off?" NO. I never even saw a decrease in spiders. The only time I ever saw a decrease in spiders is when I grabbed a can of raid and sprayed one of the windows myself. Aptive is the most useless pest control I have ever encountered. Save your money and buy yourself a can of raid, it will do literally 10 times more work than these buffoons will. I hope your mothers are as disappointed in you as I am, you incompetent charlatans. read more
