Wow... I rushed into yelp to let people know that this place is legit! My coworkers and I left work for a quick lunch and we all left very satisfied! The food came out fast and so delicious, I devoured my turkey sandwich, my friend raved over and over about her beef gyro which she barely finished cause it was so big! As you can tell I'm very excited about this place, the fries were also very addicting and they were so generous with the amount they serve. Finally, the owner was soooo nice, he was around the restaurant, cleaning and greeting the customers. We even witnessed him giving a small child free cookies. Today's experience made me truly treasure local businesses and their owners. The only thing I would say needs improvement is the menu, there's a lot to order and you should come ready to order because servers are ready for your order.

a sub sandwich with a bite taken out of it

Saddle River deli does it again. Huge sandwich, no expenses spared, fully loaded Delicious. Epic

The woman at the counter is so rude and has an attitude. The food is okay but I would not go there again due to the poor customer service.

Of the two eating establishments in town, hands down the Saddle River Gourmet Deli is the best!

Worst service in the area. Business must be terrific if a deli can afford to show blatant disregard for its customers.

My wife and I were picking up produce, coffee, and poultry nearby. (A true food lovers Saturday day…read moretrip) We ran into lunch time and I had found Ike's Big Mouth on Yelp. Definitely a bit of a lunch rush crowd, which is a good sign. The other good signs included the professional staff that handled the crowd extremely well and the actual signs showing a really wide ranging menu! We ordered a couple of wraps after agonizing over the great options. We were able to luck into a table. The California grilled chicken wrap featured avocado and bacon and the chicken pesto wrap had fresh mozzarella, arugula, peppers, and a delicious pesto. We shared the wraps, half each and I loved both! I can see why they're highly rated and we will certainly return to sample the rest of the menu!

I also love the Gladiator and the drunken chicken. My kids love the winter salad so I think it's worth mentioning that too. all tasty wall generous portions. The service is pretty excellent because every single time I go to pick up what I've ordered it is ready and everybody there is very friendly. I like that for a neighborhood spot The only feedback I would give this restaurant is to work on their Buffalo wing sauce. I think it is too heavy on the harshness of spice and not quite interesting enough. I'd love for them to improve this. I'm still a regular either way!

The place is bright and clean. I ended up getting the 4 Corner ($12.95) which consists of grilled chicken, PROSCIUTTO, BOAR'S HEAD IMPORTED HAM, FRESH MOZZARELLA AND ROASTED RED PEPPERS ON A LONG ROLL. It was good, just felt like there was a lack of chicken compared to the pics I have seen. I also got to try the cheesesteak ($12.95) which was great. The cheese was cooked and blended into the beef, green peppers and onions. The cheesesteak saved my lunch. Solid spot for lunch and I would recommend especially if you want cheesesteak. * Parking on premise * Street parking available * Takeout only inside

However I've tried the meatballs.. large in size, yet the filling is more bread than meat . If you're Italian or a foodie ... I would not order this again. The Green Salads in the case look great , then you open the salad dsg to see it's like water and with No taste. Under the beautiful mesculin leaves is wilted iceberg brown edged lettuce. When speaking with the owner Roger via phone requesting info , or even when he is in the store , let's just say he's not as pleasant as he is in his videos promoting the deli. Maybe a bad day ? Could be ,but the food seems to be disappointingly a norm

The owner and staff are relatively friendly. The business does not seem to get much incoming…read moretraffic. They do have regulars, which is good. Their menu is a fairly decent size and selection. The environment is quiet, peaceful, and very clean! They offer a variety of bottled beverages, sides, chips, and a small selection of desserts. My dad and I ordered the 24-inch Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak, which was chicken with buffalo wing sauce and blue cheese sauce. The buffalo sauce had a kick, although it was not too spicy. The blue cheese sauce was creamy and shockingly tasty. This especially surprised me since I do not like blue cheese, and I enjoyed theirs. The owner was nice enough to offer lettuce, tomato, and onion. We opted out since my dad does not eat any of those. Otherwise, I would have added them. I was also unsure if they would have put them on only half the sandwich. The size we ordered was the largest of the three sandwich sizes. The three sizes are Small, Primo, and Whole. The sandwich was considerably delightful. The bread was warm, fresh, and toasted. The chicken seemed to be grilled white meat; particularly, I believe it was breast meat. In fact they even put a great portion of chicken within the sandwich. The buffalo sauce was not too spicy, just a little kick and pretty tolerable. My dad felt the drink he had with his half-help relieved the spice and felt the drink was needed to help eat the sandwich to avoid any spice. The blue cheese was creamy and really tasty, as previously mentioned. The prepacked dessert(the killer brownie company "flavor kitchen sink")was definitely not the highlight of this place. I felt it was slightly soft and crunchy. Just particularly unappetizing, and I would not get it again. Overall, the experience was quite enjoyable and pleasant. It was nice to try a new place while exploring a new area!

They offered two little slips to each customer - one for a savory crepe and one for a sweet and you can build you own. Great concept but it would be beneficial if the server confirmed the order because we asked for nutella, banana, strawberry, and ice cream and got 2/4. We were in a rush to leave so forgot to check the receipt to see if we were charged for the others; however it was $48 (w/o tip) for 1 panini, 1 crepe and 1 latte so a bit overpriced for the quality of food, in my opinion. The sandwich and crepe were both just okay, nothing to rave about. The drink was aesthetically pleasing with the iced Bear and tasted great. We asked for whipped cream on the latte but our server forgot that too. She also forgot to provide us water until we asked and it came at the end of the meal.  Outside dining was not optimal as it's right next to the railroad tracks and quite loud. There is a kids play area which I thought was a nice addition to the space, but I do wish it was gated off for the younger kids as it's so close to the road! Overall, I found that it was a bit overrated and underwhelming... there are so many restaurants to choose from in the area that I wouldn't opt to come back here.
