From Chicago, first time at Saccone's today. Here are some thoughts: -I'm partial to Chicago style pizza, and pizza in Italy is pretty special. But if you like New York style pizza, Saccone's is definitely for you! -GREAT thin crust pizza. Not one ounce of sogginess! Sauce is delicious. Cheese was a little greasy, as it should be : ) Pepperoni had a nice kick to it. -The ambiance isn't great. There is some inside seating, but it's not very nice. This looks the kind of place that does a lot of pick up pizzas : ) -Very friendly service! Highly recommended!!

Well, homeslice is now my second favorite pizza in Austin. Pizza here is outstanding!!

Pizza is outstanding!! hot, and fresh and it has that crisp to it. Homeslice used to be my favorite pizza in Austin but not anymore.

Saccone's is the best for a quick lunch slice. I love that they allow me to choose my toppings instead of offering the standard pepperoni or cheese slice only. Everyone that works there has good energy about them and if you can snag a spot to sit you can hear some good conversations. My first Saccone's pizza was in '98 and I'm sure it's not just nostalgia but I think The Dan's Special is the best pizza in the area. In those days, no one was doing meatball pizza here and topping it with fresh basil was even more unique. Still to this day I think if you live here and haven't had a Saccone's then what are you doing?

I had a craving for pizza and found this one to have pretty good reviews. I can say it was definitely worth the chance. The guy at the counter was super helpful since I was half and half on the items. Made exactly what I wanted and it was a great experience. The pizza is New York style and had a nice crunch on the bottom of each slice and the crust was nice too. This location is small and had two or three tables. The other location is the more sit down vibes from what he told me. But thank you for the experience and I'll definitely be ordering from here again.

Pizza is as good as it gets in Austin! Pleasantly surprised since this place gives off a hole in the wall vibe. But the pizza is outstanding and comparable to the best New York pizza. Haven't had pizza this good in a very long time. Definitely better than Home Slice. They're good but not this good. Dudley was very representative of the brand- nice and no nonsense and fun personality. He hired a customer on the spot to help out. Very impressed. There's a reason it's rated very high and not just sheer number of reviews. Best pizza in Austin!!

Saccone's is my coworkers favorite pizza in all of Austin so I had to try it. Great hospitality and authentic storefront. 10 out of 10 would go again! Also try the side of ranch!

If you grew up in New Jersey, you're likely to love the pizza. It's pretty close to the pizza we used to get on the boardwalk at Point Pleasant (this was many, many years ago). It's a floppy and greasy pie (especially the pepperoni) but I happen to love that. I'm not Dave Portnoy. :D This is real pizza, folks, not the crap you get from the chains. We got a plain cheese and one with pepperoni and mushrooms. I liked both, but the pepperoni pie was my favorite. Bring your appetite. Saccone's is very generous with the cheese and toppings. We ate two slices each and felt stuffed. Fortunately, this kind of pie is good the next day. The people there are friendly and helpful. I have no complaints, so this place gest a full 5 stars.

I didn't even ask about nuts for my allergy. It's pizza! You can order ahead about 10-15 minutes for a slice; about 20 for a whole pizza. This is one of the best New York style pizzas in Austin! Reminds me exactly of Joe's in NYC. Crispy crust, solid flavorful toppings. I only had the pepperoni but I'm looking forward to trying more!

This is some of the best pizza in ATX. Don't wait in line at Home Slice or East Side Pies, this is the real deal. The dudes behind the counter are always chill, friendly, and helpful. They always make your pizza crispy as hell, it's delicious.

This was so good, I'm not really a pizza person and honestly only came because of the great reviews. Well, I was wrong, this is the best pizza I've ever had I'm usually keto, so I normally don't eat the crust edge. But this time, I actually ate the crust first before getting to the toppings. It's thin, crunchy, and has such a great texture and flavor. I finished the slice right away and forgot to take a picture. I also ordered the Garlic Knots. They come four to an order, but I wasn't sure I wanted that many. Kat told me I could order just one, which was really nice. Unfortunately, this one wasn't my favorite, a little too doughy for me. And then there was the Tiramisu. Wow! It's so good, not overly sweet like other tiramisu and the texture is light, fluffy, and smooth. They were busy during my visit, but the service was still great. Kat was friendly and made my first visit a really enjoyable one. Definitely coming back if I visit Austin again

My daughter ordered the stuffed crust pizza, which is filled with ricotta cheese. It was her first time trying ricotta, and unfortunately, it wasn't her favorite. I built my own pizza with Italian sausage, onions, and fresh basil, and I highly recommend adding the garlic butter, it was the perfect finishing touch and added so much flavor. Overall, the pizza was good, and the friendly service made the experience even better. I've spent my life chasing the perfect crust, comparing everything from the legendary pie shops in Manhattan to the pristine corner slices in Pittsburgh. I didn't think Austin could pull off truly authentic pizza. I was dead wrong. Baldinucci is absolute sorcery. The moment I took a bite of their Roman-style pizza, I was instantly thrown back to the tiny, narrow pizzerias I stumbled into in Italy. It has that exact, hyper-specific airy crunch that is so incredibly hard to replicate outside of Europe. The dough is clearly fermented with patience. It's light, shatteringly crisp on the bottom, and has those beautiful, irregular air pockets that give it a pillowy structure without ever feeling heavy. Let's talk about the sauce, because that's where most places fail. It isn't that sugary, paste-heavy stuff you find at standard joints. It is vibrant, bright, and tastes intensely of sun-ripened tomatoes and clean olive oil. It is remarkably fresco; striking that perfect balance where the acidity cuts through the richness of the cheese without overwhelming the palate. The vibe inside the West Lake spot is casual and unpretentious, but they take their craft seriously. Food service is streamlined and efficient; you order at the counter, and they pop the slices back into the oven so they land at your table screaming hot. The staff is genuinely proud of what they're slinging, and they should be. If you are an East Coast transplant drowning in a sea of mediocre pies, do yourself a favor and get over to West Lake. It's the real deal. PS: The gelato flavors are also sorcery. However, a review of their gelato is for another time. I must continue to savor the pie for now.
