Besides i came because reviews were very good. Unfortunately i probably should have judged it more harshly. While the staff was pleasant overall. I was also dumbfounded by their limitations. Specifically I asked for a French manicure with a chrome line and they were not able to do a chrome line. So I went with her suggestion of just a glittery line as shown below. It wasn't great looking. The lines were crooked and a bit off from the picture but not horrible. The nails also took about 2.5 hours to do. But the kicker for me was the price. This was a French full set and it costs $98. With tip I paid $110. I've never in life paid that much for such a simple design. Usually I get services that are more elaborate and the cost is usually around $85-90. But given that this is often accompanied by fruit and wine (or water) and a beautiful atmosphere it seems more than worth it. While the staff was pleasant, the atmosphere horrible and the results were mediocre, so this is definitely not a place I would visit again.

Communication during the service was also challenging, as the braider had limited English proficiency and frequently had to call others to translate. The service took approximately five hours, and several clients who began their appointments after me finished at roughly the same time, despite not receiving a hair wash. When it came time to pay, I paid in cash, but I was told that Albertine--who was not present--would send my change via Zelle. This was unacceptable, as cash payment should result in cash change. Based on this experience, I do not recommend this shop. The pricing was inconsistent with what was advertised and agreed upon, and the overall business practices were unprofessional.

It's in between a classic and volume application. I believe the owner herself did it as she said she teaches as well. I got curled lashes that were only a little bit longer than my own (straight, nice length, doesn't curl and doesn't have a ton of volume). The application was done so thoroughly and its funny I cannot even feel the lashes. I forget they're there. I don't have a fear my real lashes will rip out either as with nail salon lashes. I was given a little lash brush for grooming as well which I never got before. I highly recommend. So excited to be 'ready roll' for my trip.
