I just left Stellar nails 5 mins ago! And let me say she was so short staffed that she was doing my hands while I was getting my pedi done! The purpose of doing a mani pedi is to come relax and have each done separately this was very annoying and this is on Stellar not the customers fault she is short staffed but you booking appts to Make your money. Then charged me an extra $5 to remove the clear gel polish from my fingernails, and never informed me before doing it. Secondly I was out of town tending to my deceased step dads funeral services for BD and tending To my 86 yr old mom in Chicago, so I asked if I could use my BD discount she said no, this should have been honored. I won't be back Ms Stellar and do Not attempt to send me a coupon to return. This was poor customer service at its best. Good bye and good riddance!!!! Terrible service. read more

They refused to open a fresh nail kit in front of me and upon request. Any other place opens a fresh kit in front of you to cut your nails. I left immediately. I don't recommend anyone going to this place and risk an infection. read more

Came here to get some quick eyelashes, should've known I was in trouble when they said they only do clusters... Normally I go to my esthetician and have individual lashes done but she had no availability. Got them done on Saturday afternoon, woke up Sunday with 75% of the lashes on the right eye GONE! No, I did NOT get my face wet. Of course I went back shortly after they opened to show them the issue, I was told to come back at 12 to have it fixed. I return, she refills them at no charge, tells me that my eyes are hard to add lashes to and I just give her a blank stare. Then there's TODAY... I wake up today, 4 days from Saturday, 50% of the lashes on both eyes are either gone or hanging, I can SEE the glue on top of the lashes of my left eye and my eyelid hurts/burns a little when I blink. The right eyelid has dried glue in the folds of the skin, the lashes are hard and crunchy and at THIS point, I'm just DONE! $40 waisted! A true testament of "You get what you pay for"... Rushed pedicure. Took 10 mins from start to finish, rude and prefer to treat their regulars better than everyone else also overpriced.

First of all I set a appointment online for 9am. For my wife and my daughter. Now I've set this up here for Pass 3 years since moving from California. Today was the day I will never go to the place again now I will be telling family and friends. Military family let's not attend this place. They took them back for both mani and pedi. They started on my daughter leaving my wife feet in the water as other customers came in they proceeded to set them up. They finished my daughter pedi leaving my wife still in the water. She asked only to say we will be right with you. Finished my daughter mani let me freaking your water we will be right with you. The customer service is horrible. This was unacceptable. You will never see a dollar from me and I will be spreading the word. This place has been placed on notice. We desire better. read more

I was Not impressed, my first. Nails left rough (not filed smoothly). After a mani/pedi no assistance with putting my shoes back on; no offer of those paper thin thong flip flops. Better ventilation is needed; there are strong odors inside. Called the manager to tell her that the manicure wasn't done well; she went on and on about how natural nails/cuticle can grow in a 2 or 3 days and I could barely get a word in edge-wise. I told her the woman that did my nails rushed through them; she did them standing while my feet were being prepped. My nails/cuticle look no better than when I went in. I don't get manicure/pedicures often but typically you're seated at a table, right? This 'so called' manager should take a course in customer service and how to effectively listen! I stopped by this place in a rainy day and all I can say is this salon is awesome!! the staffs are so careful about what customers want and completely satisfied me. Cindy did my nails, she's pretty quiet compared to other staffs you usually see in the nails salon but so focused on doing my nails. Ms Truc did my toe polish and I'm totally in love with it. Went to this nail salon based on its proximity to where I currently was at the time. I was able to be seen as soon as I walked in. Sadly, I cheated on my nail tech, lol! The experience was okay. The shop is smaller. I got SNS by Nisa. I did like that the SNS came with a manicure because most places don't include that. There were several color choices as well. been here a few times but here's an account of my most recent encounter: (pretty standard experience tbh) Went in for a regular pedicure and gel manicure. There were four nails techs working and 2 people ahead of me. I waited an hour and a half before I was even sat in a pedicure chair. I had to ask to start soaking off my previous gel manicure in the interest of time. I waited in the chair for another 20 minutes before they turned on the water. At this point a woman who arrived AFTER me got up to leave because of how long she was waiting. The nail techs chased her down and started her pedicure BEFORE ME. When they FINALLY got around to me, the lady doing my toes filed my nails, chatted for five minutes while ignoring me, finally got back to my toes, and then clipped my skin so I bled. The paint job was decent. Then, my manicure started. The nail lady was rushing ME, as if I wasn't the one waiting for hours for her to get around to servicing me. She was snappy and told me to hurry up when I was washing my hands. The gel manicure did turn out nicely and I was happy with the shape of my nails. All said and done, it is NOT worth it to have your nails done here!! Nail techs will keep you waiting for literally HOURS and are rude!! Total time spent in there was 3 1/2 hours. read more

I came here for an SNS dip. Oh my goodness. I am not one to complain or even take the time out of my day to write reviews but this is a must! I was referred this salon from a patient and thought it was worth a try. I was wrong I initially asked for a French ombré with picture and all! I asked twice if they were able to replicate it and I was assured they could, I made sure to let the nail tech know if she wasn't sure she could replicate the French ombré I would just pick a full color! Well, after we were done, I was unhappy with the nails. I noticed the nails of the young girl in the front of the salon and they were STUNNING! She explained they were dip. At that point in time I explained I needed my nails redone as the nails were wide, thick, and did not look like what I had asked for! I got on my way and left a considerable tip Becuase I felt bad. FAST FORWARD TO TODAY, I have now has the nails for 14 hours and one nail is already cracked straight in the middle of my nail. The salon was closing in 30 minutes so before I came I called to see if they could fit me in as I wanted a pedi/mani/eyebrow service. She said yes so I made it there in 2 minutes (I was already in route). When I got there apparently they assigned me with a young girl that had Friday night plans so she rushed my pedicure and tried to get me to the drying station until I asked who's doing my manicure. With irritation she asked what exactly was I getting, came over visibly pissed off, made a loud personal phone call telling that person how she won't make it and to leave without her. She hung up and slammed the phone and proceeded with my fill-in in cold silence. I felt so bad but on the other hand it was so unprofessional. She rushed through it, leaving my natural nail lifted from the acrylic and then charged me $60. At this point I didn't want to mention that I needed my eyebrows done so I just paid and left. This place is alway so busy and I've alway walked away loving their work but today really just made me change my mind about this place. I honestly wished they would have just told me no. The service is pretty good. You're not going to get offered wine or anything like that but they do great nails. I get SNS (everyone CANNOT DO SNS) and they did a great job on my nails. The location is kinda hard to find and drive into during traffic hours but it's worth it. Before I went I called and ask for prices for kids and the time they will be open. The prices are great they charge $25 for a pedicure for an adult and $15 for kids (not bad). This is a small nail salon they only have five seats for a person to receive a pedicure. Anyway my two nieces and I did not sit together. Everything was going well until the end. We was push out the drying area because they do not have a lot of space. One of the employees snatched the flip flops from me and my nieces. The nail salon that I usually go to let you keep them. I have been going to stellar nail salon since they opened in Dumfries and generally, they do really good nails but for several month now l developed a nail fungus which I am being medically treated for, for several months now. My family member and a good friend of mine also developed a similar case as we all go to stellar to get our nails done. I must mention this happed prior to Covid-19 . Other than that the people there are very nice. Unfortunately, I cannot get my nails done until I am completely rid of this infection which is too bad. read more

Got there kind of late (6:00pm, they close at 7:00pm on Saturdays). They saw me right away which I definitely appreciated (I usually try to make sure I arrive an hour and a half before closing so that I don't keep anyone past closing, so I did feel kind of bad showing up right at 6:00). I'm not sure who my nail tech was, but she was very nice. My only issue was that I asked for my acrylics to be thin, I cannot stand thick, bubbly acrylics and my acrylics ended up being exactly that. Even when I noticed how much she was putting on, I asked for them to be thinner. She assured me that they were thick, but that she was going to file them down. That didn't happen unfortunately. I feel bad writing this review because she was very nice, but just would not listen to me regarding my nails, :-/ not a huge fan of the work. I decided to give them one more chance after being at another salon for 2+ years. It was the same all over again. I had a 2pm appointment with Susan. At 2:20 a woman left angrily because she had been waiting so long for someone to polish her nails. Susan was buffing the acrylic of a customer. At 2:45 they brought me the colors. "Pick a color" At 3pm another woman called me to her chair. She said she was going to remove my old acrylics and then Susan would do my nails. She finished at 3:15 and Susan was working on a second customer. I asked if anyone else could do my fill and they said no. I paid $5 for removing my acrylics and went to another salon. This salon has no respect for your time. They overbook and say "yes come in I can take you at 2" when they know they cannot. They do this time after time and I will never go back. read more
