I had a full set done in 30 minutes when it's usually double that and it was sharp and uneven and when I pointed it out, they said It was not. I suspect they are pressured with less staff there now to turnaround quick. Prices have gotten crazy too, charges for everything on top of the mani/pedi cost, a lot of little charges for things like clipping nails, cutting cuticles, after paying for a full service. What used to be 60-80 is closer or above 100. Feels like a lot of long-term staff have left too which tells me their management needs to listen to feedback.

The one downside for me is that all three times my service has taken a long time. I don't love sitting still (ADHD!) so for me that's a downside. BUT the results have been great so I'll choose to go there when I'm not in a hurry or on a day off. My mother had her nails done at Escape Day Spa yesterday, and within just 24 hours, the polish was already visibly lifting and bubbling. This is completely unacceptable for a professional nail service. What makes this experience even more disappointing is the owner's response. After being shown the obvious defects in the polish, the owner refused to correct the issue by allowing my mother to choose a different color without charging her again. My mother simply did not want the same polish reapplied because she was understandably concerned that the exact same problem would happen again. Rather than acknowledge the poor results and make things right, the owner actually expected her to PAY AGAIN to correct a service that was not done properly in the first place! Let me be very clear: Customers should not have to pay twice for a business's failure to provide a quality service. This is not just about nail polish. It is about professionalism, accountability, customer satisfaction, and basic respect. A reputable business should stand behind its work, especially when a customer returns the very next day with visible problems. My mother deserved better treatment, and the owner's unwillingness to offer a reasonable solution speaks volumes about the customer service we experienced. I strongly caution anyone considering Escape Day Spa in Stafford, Virginia, to reconsider where they spend their hard-earned money.
