So great every time! I've only been a few times as I'm new to getting my eyebrows threaded, but my husband and I have been able to walk in without an appointment and get taken care of within minutes. The women who have helped us have always been super nice and very efficient. My eyebrows look great when I leave - cleaned and shaped slightly - and it takes less than 10 minutes. I also have more sensitive skin so I end up with some redness/bumps - they started applying an aloe gel right after that helped so much. My husband's eyebrows are always great as well! After not having my eyebrows threaded in months due to the pandemic, I found a new place more convenient than my last place. Royal Shapes specializes in threading but they also do wax and manicures, pedicures, and henna tattoos. I was a walk in and had my eyebrows done by Huti. I had a specific shape in mind and she did her best to make it work based on my natural eyebrow shape. She was gentle and I certainly plan to come back. I was long overdue for having my eyebrows threaded and was looking for a new location for service. I walked in 100 degree weather to Royal Shapes, and the directions were horrible but it may have been that it was difficult to understand what was said. Nonetheless, I arrived and after cooling down, I sat down, showed the technician a picture of what I wanted and said it as well. My eyebrows were nice but not what I wanted or asked for. I wanted low and thick without following my natural browline. My technician did what she wanted. It's back to the drawing board, ugh. read more

This is my second time coming here and this time an older lady did my eyebrows. I left with them uneven, no real shape and the lines were not clean. The entire process felt rushed and probably the quickest I've seen eyebrows done. She didn't seem to have pride in her work and did not pay attention to the little details, like placement of stray hairs or cleanliness of lines. She also did not use hand sanitizer between clients which should have been my sign to walk out. Overall I'd only use this location as a last result. I did have better results with the younger lady my first time there (which is why I'm giving 2 stars but she was not there this time so rolled the dice. Next day edit. First time here I did not catch the person name who did my eye brows . Plenty of parking . Went in on a Saturday , I do like that it's clean and everyone wears a mask and you as well need to wear a mask and they have a sign on the door about needing a mask before walking in so I liked that . When she finished my eyebrows I thought they looked great but when I got home I saw a bunch of spots were missed all on the top the sides and even the middle ! I'm not sure if it was the lighting or what , but I was pretty disappointed once I saw them when I got home. I usually drive down to RT 3 to get my eyebrows threaded but I was on Garrisonville and saw sign for Royal Shaping and decided to try them. I walked in, hoping I didn't need an appointment, I didn't need an appointment. I have been growing my eyebrows out and the lady just cleaned up the strays, she was so friendly and the salon was very nice, I will be back! Finding a great eyebrow threader is often a hassle filled with many trials and several errors. After moving to the area I found a place in Fredricksburg which is such a trek for a 5 minute service but when someone does a good job with equivalent service, the drive isn't an issue. The last two times I've driven to Fredricksburg for eyebrow threading at my "regular" place, and to my dismay it was closed during normal hours... which brings me to this pleasant discovery... Royal Shapes. This place reconfirmed my mantra "everything happens for a reason!" I rolled the dice and gave Royal Shapes a try. The reviews were primarily positive but the negative reviews were bad enough to scare anyone away. Nonetheless, this gamble paid off. Ruby did a fantastic job! I must say her threading technique is on the more aggressive side and the thread is rougher than the typical thread I'm use to but the end results was worth the short minutes of discomfort. Ruby was polite, professional and on point with the eyebrow threading. This business has been here for 5 years... interesting. Of note, Ruby is there on weekdays and another person is there on weekends to provide services. Eyebrow threading is $12 and walk-in are welcomed. read more

I usually don't post reviews but I went in to get my eyebrows threaded yesterday and I informed her I wanted to just have them cleaned since I have been trying to grow them out for the last few months. I specifically told her NOT to make them thin to just clean around them and she said okay and began. When she finished, I looked in the mirror and I was telling her this is not what I wanted, they are to thin to the point when i put my glasses back on they disappeared behind the glasses.Also, she made my eyebrows uneven by taking off a part of the front of the eyebrow, which i didn't notice until later. I was upset and instead of her apologizing for the mistake , she stated what she did was better than what I wanted. I started explaining to her the issue with what she did and she continued to justify why she decided to do what she thought was best rather than what I wanted.
