    Hair from fish burrito

I usually go to the Sabrosada in Westminster for their carne asada fries. Decided to go to Stanton location this time and it was a bad decision. Ordered carne asada fries and fish burrito. Saw a strand and pulled a piece of hair lodged in the batter of fish in the fish burrito. Lost appetite after that. I was offered a remake but I can't trust the quality enough to eat another one.

Ordered the breakfast burrito with everything. It's huge and good for 2 people. Tasty, not greasy and not salty. The garden salsa are made fresh and lots of varieties to choose from. Nice staff and fast service. Place is clean with mellow Mexican music and lots of parking.

This is one of those casual Mexican fast food spots. My fav are the burritos, carne asada fries or carne asada nachos ! Service is okay- I usually get take out or drive thru, so not much to say regarding service.

They have the best carne asada fries imo. I have been and will forever be coming back for this one item every time. They have a full size that could easily feed two or for sharing as a side. Or a half size for one or to share if you're not too hungry. The fries are topped generously with sour cream, guacamole, refried beans, pico de gallo and loaded with carne asada chopped up and cheese sprinkled on top. I ask for my fries extra crispy and tbh when all the toppings make the fries soggy it's still good!

This place did not dissapoint. I went through the drive thru and was craving Carne asada so I got the combination plate. To my surprise, their Carne was delicious. They give plenty of salsa which is a big bonus for me and the plate will surely last me for lunch the next day with the quantity I got. The service was quick through the drive through and their prices are very fair for the amount of food they serve. There was plenty of parking surrounding the area. Another favorite of mine here is the potato taco. Absolutely a must try.

I've been passing this place up for months and then finally decide to stop by there and I totally regret it because it was some of the best food that I've had in a while and exactly what I've been looking for when it comes to Mexican food the service is very nice and the ambience is very well put.

This place isn't in the safest neighborhoods. However it's lit and safe inside, the surrounding areas are sketch. Taco was $5. Tons of meat descent sized. 2 shredded beef tacos with rice and beans 13.29. Meal was descent, better than any fast food restaurant and they have a self serve salsa bar. folks working here are always nice and kind, but def not my fav place to go for tacos.

Ordered NACHOS got FRIES -_- and I'm HANGRY
    Mary N.

I have a love-hate relationship with this casual spot. My go-to is the Carne Asada Nachos half size with everything. Good portion and good chips too. We waited a looong time in the drive-thru to order it, only to come home and open to a box of asada FRIES. I was so HANGRY. Fries were soggy AF. The lady even repeated our order when we ordered so what the heck happened?! Not going here when it's busy or will spend some time to check our order before driving away. They don't have pickled onions, only pickled carrots (soggy) and jalapenos. Red sauce is spicier than green sauce. You'll need like 5 since the sauce containers are quarter sized. Such a waste of plastic. Credit cards accepted.

Food was good and staff was very friendly. Took my 93 year old mother to lunch today and she really liked the food.

I really like carne asada nachos. Good Mexican fast food. Here's a photo of the nachos. Fast drive thru service.

I've been coming here since it was originally named Alberto's...The outside seating has not changed. It's still the same round table bench with the red umbrella. Service is the same, they're pretty quick at getting your food prepped. Now I said that their carne asada has always been reliable, but my last two times I've ordered a carne asada burrito (sour cream and cheese only) or a CA burrito, IYKYK, their meat has tasted different. It taste like it's some carne asada and then like some other mystery meat, sometimes liver... Either way I stop eating it when I have tasted it being weird. Maybe it's the other meats they serve that get mixed in. I don't dig that. So for that I would rate them down to a 3 star. I'm rating their 3 rolled tacos as 4 stars! It's the best around. It has the crunch and enough meat inside. It's not all tortilla like some places. We always order it with sour cream and cheese only, with carrots on the side. I've tried adeltacos down the street and it doesn't compare. Get it here.

However, this is the 2nd time we've had a missing item from our takeout. We moved away, but grew up with Albertaco's and we LOVE IT. Carne asada fries, chicken quesadilla, cali burrito, their red salsa, chef's kiss. Last year May 2025, we drove and did takeout for our brothers birthday. We ordered 2 carne asada fries, and they only gave us 1 (our order was big). Yesterday, May 17,2026, I drove out here again for my brother's birthday request to do takeout for our entire family. Ordered 2 orders of their rolled tacos, finally got home to see that we only received 1 order of the rolled tacos, not 2 (we also ordered more things). Yes, you'd obviously like for everything that you paid for to be handed to you, but a lesson learned to check your bags!!! If something is missing, kindly let them know and receive everything you paid for. Not the end of the world, we love this place as this is one of our childhood comfort foods/go-to places.. we moved away and miss this place all the time, and to make our birthdays feel like home/childhood, we drive out here to show our loved one some extra love with Albertaco's BOMB food, but yeah, it's a bummer when you're missing things that you paid for & is shown on the receipt (will post receipt photo shortly).

This time I went a different direction though and picked up one of their Torta options - the Cubana. Fresh homemade bread with all of the fixings one would expect in a Cuban inspired Torta - quite large as well! The fam got Super Burritos, some with chicken and one with Al pastor. They had nothing but good to say - my son noting that it was really fresh tasting. The service was friendly and knowledgable, and they had our somewhat large order out in really good time. While you wait there's some arcade machines set to free play, a salsa bar with plenty of options, including roasted jalapeños. Ordered 3 tacos and paid $19 something (handed him $20 and got some coin change). It was 2 carnitas tacos (listed for ~$4.40 each), plus an El Jefe taco (~$6.75). When he said $19 something it sounded high, I questioned it and he said that's what it is. I didn't want to argue further. I calculated it afterward and this was overpaying by $2 something. The amount is not a big deal, but I don't like being stolen from. So I'm writing this, so that others may avoid the same annoying experience. I was hoping the tacos would be really good and justifies it. But they weren't. The El Jefe one wasn't even as described. He said there would be cheese but there wasn't. The guac tasted old. And the whole plate was incredibly oily. The carnitas ones were less oily but not very flavorful either, and there were chunks of fat. Never again. Also the place was just gross. They used the same ladle for all the sauces, so it was all cross contaminated. The bathroom looked like a mess and had graffiti everywhere too.
