Tonight we tried one of the newest additions to Historic Downtown Seaford, near the Nanticoke River. This restaurant is phenomenal! All of the food is made fresh and the taste demonstrates the ability of the owners of this fine family-operated establishment! I have been to a lot of Mexican restaurants in Arizona and I have been wishing there was one here. There are SO many wonderful Mexican restaurants right here in the USA that are authentic but none in Delaware that made me want to come back for more until now! If you find yourself looking at the menu and you haven't found what you're looking for look again! I promise you one bite of this food and you'll change your mind! I haven't tried everything but what we did have was excellent! The Torta was extremely tasty, the bread was soft and had good flavor. If you want Mexican food this is the place for you! It's not frozen or reheated it is the real deal made to order. The drinks are amazing as well! I had the coconut agua fresca and it was great! If you love great food then this is a place for you to check out! The food was amazing and the service was excellent. This is one of those places where you want to go back many times just to order something different. Everything that I saw come out of that kitchen looked to die for! The interior was also very modern, clean, prices were decent for the portion of food and so worth the quality!

Quesedillas that are so soft, you leave impressions in the tortilla!

YES! Finally in our own main street of Seaford, DE. A caring, conscientious, invested Mexican restaurant. In talking with Alex on their first day, the connections they already have to the community thanks to a tight knit number of supporters and other businesses, this is an easy choice of why you would to frequent this establishment. In purchasing Quesadillas, a torta, and Taco Pastor with delicious Jamiaca, this is the same taste, freshness, and quality you would receive on any street corner of Mexico. Don't hesitate and enjoy the music, atmosphere, and friendliness of this great new addition to Seaford!

    Birria tacos on Fridays!

Birria tacos on Fridays!! This place is a wonderful find. The whole menu looks great but I love Birria tacos and good ones like these are hard to pass up. Delicious food and nice people here.

    Best, authentic Mole in Delaware!

Birria taco and huarache were excellent, as was the salsa. Look forward to trying more of the menu on my next visit. Nice folks as well.

Available only on weekends. It was perfect. The flavors were perfect. The homemade tortillas were perfect. The garnish was perfect. The spice was perfect. It's like you could taste every part of the toasty chili that made it spicy. I sat by myself, at the counter, savoring every single spoonful. I had it with a perfectly tart-sweet glass of agua de jamaica. Served from large containers in the fridge behind the counter. The menudo was sooooo good, it makes all the other menudos pale in comparison. This restaurant makes me want to move to Seaford.

Tuesday night we went to a Mexican Food for Mexican diners restaurant. I've never heard of half the…read morethings on the menu. And most things are a la carte. So I ordered a burrito. In an American Mexican Restaurant, it would come with some sort of sauce on top and rice and beans next to it on the plate. In this restaurant, it came on the plate, period. And I was expected to eat it more like a sandwich. The burrito was stuffed much like a Chipotle one. Steak, rice, beans, lettuce and tomato inside. It was tasty. Oh, and no complimentary chips and salsa first. You could order chips and a choice of a couple of different dipping sauces as an appetizer. We ordered chips and guacamole. My wife ordered a mushroom quesadilla. It came, like my burrito, alone on the plate and not cut in pieces. It did not come with salsa and sour cream. She tried cutting it up and eating it like a big nacho chip, but while the tortilla was fried, it wasn't stiff. Floppy is the best way I can describe it. She said that the tortilla overpowered the filling, so she ended up scraping out the filling and eating that, and leaving the tortilla. The cheese was Oaxaca cheese, which was different. She enjoyed the filling. The ambiance was dark but otherwise like any other Mexican restaurant. But the main vibe was dark. I don't think it's fair to pan a restaurant because the food was served in a different way than you are used to. That being said, I have to say that no effort at all was made to make the food a pleasing presentation on the plate. No garnish whatsoever. The quesadilla looked like they just turned the pan up over the plate. The burrito was just sitting there on the plate looking lonely. Not a piece of lettuce or jalapeño slice for garnish. Nothing. We had only water to drink. The price after tip was about $30. There was a 4% credit card surcharge. Not exorbitant, but wasn't too long ago that same meal would have cost half that much! There are a few "plates" on the menu, which by description are more like what we would see in an American-Mexican restaurant. I think if we go back, we would first study that portion of the menu to see if something took our fancy. I would also study some of the other a la carte dishes to try something new. The place really seemed to cater more to the carry out or delivery crowd. We were the only people eating in. Eating at home would probably be a more pleasing atmosphere. If you enjoy authentic Mexican food, I think this will fit your bill. Be warned, this is different from La Tapatia.

I am embarrassed to say that my boys haven't quite embraced Mexican food. Both love chips and salsa or guacamole and queso and my youngest will eat a deconstructed taco, but when it comes to loaded nachos or tacos they tend to shy away from even the simplest quesadilla. The kid's menu offered the typical kid friendly dishes like chicken tenders, pizza and hot dogs. I'm not sure what the white sauce was that accompanied our chips and salsa, but it tasted extremely acidic and possibly rancid so we immediately pushed the mystery sauce to the side. We ordered queso and guacamole to go with our chips and salsa and both were fantastic. The queso had a slightly spicy jalapeño kick and the guacamole was super fresh. The salsa was so good that my husband asked to purchase a container to bring to our hotel. My carnitas were loaded with salty braised pork, diced raw onions, fresh cilantro and accompanied with a lime wedge. These tacos were so simple, yet so delicious and horchata was perfectly spiced with cinnamon. My husband's soup looked like it had been simmering all day and my husband said it was nice and spicy. I stole a sip of his margarita and it was very tart and refreshing. As expected, the kids meals looked gross, but my boys were content and had already stuffed themselves with chips and salsa, guacamole and queso. The atmosphere is extremely casual and the service was very prompt and friendly. I'm so glad we found this restaurant on our drive to Bethany Beach!
