Communication with Bob was easy and on point, and I had to change move dates, which he was kind enough to accommodate me. On moving day, there was a slight miscommunication which was quickly solved by Ali (the foreman). Dima and Toby were just overall amazing guys, who kept moving boxes at an incredible speed while being extremely careful with my stuff. They truly cared to provide a great service, and it showed. I've hired moving companies in the past who were either sluggish in hopes of clocking more hours, unreliable, or just straight negligent with my stuff. Respect Movers certainly is a cut above the rest of the competition. Overall, the company offers great value and is reliable, but the credit goes to their movers. I hope I don't have to move again anytime soon, but if I have to go through it again, I would certainly choose Respect Movers again.

Ok, so, I've been sitting on this review draft for over 7 years now. Why? I hate leaving bad…read morereviews, especially when the business knows where I live, and the truth is I should have reached out to the business owner after all this happened, but I didn't, and here we are. Seven years later, thinking about this experience still makes me absolutely livid at the disrespectful, unprofessional movers we hired. We hired this company to move from our 1 bedroom apartment to a 2 bedroom apartment. They showed up AFTER the end of the appointment window. They were the slowest movers I've ever hired. When we got to the new apartment, which is on the second floor, and at the end of a long building, they parked in the middle of the building. There's a gate at the corner of the building very close to our apartment, but they parked in the middle of the building, 100 yards away, because there's an elevator there, and we had ONE heavy piece of furniture. They were slow and they complained. They finished and left around 1 AM, an 8 or 9 hour move from a NoHo 1 bedroom to Northridge. They put a dent in the wall, gouged my refrigerator on something, plus damage to other pieces of furniture that we discovered while settling in over the next couple weeks. I waited seven years to finish this review hoping to find some objectivity about the experience, but it still makes me angry how much I paid them for their unprofessional service, which by the way was at least a couple hundred more than I was quoted. Maybe they've since fired their terrible workers, maybe they have better standards now... I'll never know, because I would never hire this company again, and would emphatically urge anyone looking for moving services to look elsewhere.

I rather not spend more time on writing a review but his service was just a nightmare. He was persistent about my belonings being stored in his storage unit and I tried communicating multiple times I would like to have my belonings removed but I was not sure what to do because he was going to charge me again to remove my belongings out of his storage unit. So then I hire a company to have them removed and they left some of my boxes there because of miscommunication. I call Conrad a few weeks later after I found out all my belongings were not taken and the first thing he says "oh I threw it out" and I tried talking to him and he just tells me "I have to go".

I made a reservation for a move from Torrance to SCV with Grant but never received a confirmation- 1st red flag!! Grant and another guy showed up on moving day in a U haul, 1 roll of tape and a few raggedy blankets - 2nd red flag!! They took 6.5 hours to load a 2 bedroom and needed constant supervision. One of them also took a 20 min restroom break in the middle of the move in addition to the normal allocated break. Upon reaching SCV, we found our glass dining table top damaged along with a couple of other items. Grant came over a couple of days later and took measurements to replace the glass table top. Since that day (6 weeks since the move) it's been a game of evade and lies. He says he has the table top on order but no idea of when it is due. Now he won't return calls or messages. Extremely unprofessional and unethical. I have to resort to calling him from unknown numbers to get him to answer his phone. I have reported them to the BBB. Sean was so professional and explained everything very clearly and in detail. He made me feel so confident about hiring them, so I did. Moving day: I hired three men and a truck. Not only were they on time, they were so cheerful! It's like they love their work. The movers were meticulous, thorough and paid attention to every little detail. They asked questions when needed and follow any instructions/suggestion I offered. Again, they were just so NICE and boy, they hustle. I was thinking, "Hmmm. I hired them by the hour - not by the job. Not the best strategy." Wrong. These guys really work as quickly as possible and are totally focused on YOUR needs. The packed up my place and we drove over to my new place. Again, they had the same hustle and spirit when we got to the new place. They put everything where I asked them to, put the beds together, etc. They were super careful with everything from packed boxes to furniture to TVs. Not one thing broke - not one wall or floor was scratched. They are simply wonderful. Finally, from my first call with Sean (who also calls after the move to get your feedback) to the last item moved, the experience could not have been better. These guys CARE and it shows. I would give them 10 stars if I could!
