I've had almost everything on the menu and was satisfied with everything I've had. Top favorites red curry,yellow curry, cashew chicken extra sauce, chicken lomein. I always stick with level 1 spice. When you go up in levels you take away from the flavor of the food, Whatever you get here you have to go home with an order of crab wontons but let me worn you they are ADDICTING! The fried ribs are little nuggets and have delicious flavor but not much meat on them, however you need to try them at least once. Chicken wings are flavorful and worth a try. Firecracker shrimp are SPICY. Service is always professional. Bathrooms are very clean and so is the whole place. It does take typically 25-35 min for your food due to how fresh their food is. Sabaidee is easily of the best spots in town to get Lao and Thai food! Everything there is delicious. Sukiyaki is amazing and I'm pretty sure it's the only restaurant in town who serves it. Generous and balanced amounts of noodle, veggies, and meat. Kow piak always hits the spot, especially with quail eggs added. They have the best lad nah you'll find thus far. The gravy is perfect. The crab wontons are a must every time I visit. They're more on the sweet side and the cream cheese is not overpowering at all. Mee ped is also soo yummy and flavorful with plenty of duck and noodles. You can't go wrong with their sausages and papaya salad either! Wow! This place is fantastic! I went with my hubby and when I read the menu I was impressed!! Before eating my first dish there, I had already planned what I wanted on my next visit. That is how good they are. We ordered the spring rolls. They were good. I ordered the Lad Nah. It was saucy and the noodles were chewy and fat. Perfect texture. Gailan, Chinese broccoli was cooked perfectly. I had it with tofu but you can also choose a meat protein. Hubby ordered Khao Poon Nam Sien. Very flavorful red curry beef soup with thin noodles. We were looking for a good Thai Lunch and decide to try out Sabaidee Cafe. It's was busy but able to get a table right away. We ordered drinks and Appetizers ( spring rolls). When we went to order our main dishes our server was not sure about the dishes. We were trying to clarify the options on the tofu and how it was prepared- steamed or fried. After a few question we just went with fried. We order a few dishes- Pad Thai, pineapple fried rice and another fried rice dish. Thai iced was good. Spring Rolls - great and enjoyed the peanut sauce Our main dishes were not quite as desirable. The one dish was the wrong dish. The others were just okay. All dishes were way spicer than we ever have had. We asked for spicy level 1 mild - and they were to spicy. I actually don't mind a kick but the pineapple fried rice was actually way to spicy to the point I couldn't eat my full meal. Our server was maybe new... he was not to knowledgeable. The manager was nice. Just think they have some work to improve. I would have to give the advice taking a pass on trying Sabaidee Cafe. read more

The food was delicious! I drove from Nashville to visit a friend and she took me here. The menu had me salivating. I ordered the chicken satay for an app and it was delicious! I got the Stir Fried Holy Basil dish with beef. It was chock full of delicious bamboo shoots and the sauce was amazing. I ordered a leave 1 spice and that was (at times) a little too hot but if I had been carbing out I would have gotten a 2 and the rice would have helped calm the spice. If I lived nearby I would be here often, it's delicious and everything was so fresh! read more

We've been to this place several times already and their review is way past due but everything on their menu is literally amazing!! It's a small café type place that gets rather busy during peak times so keep in mind there could be wait times due to limited seating since they've spaced out tables due to Covid. For appetizers, we went with Banh Cuon (Steamed rice rolls filled with ground pork and wood ear mushrooms, topped with thinly sliced pork sausage and fried garlic served with a mild vinegar fish sauce) and the Fried Ribs (Marinated pork ribs served with our spicy roasted tomato dip.) For our main course, we both had the Khao Piek soup (Fresh tapioca noodles simmered in chicken broth, includes a mixture of shredded white & dark meat chicken, pork blood and garnished with cilantro, scallions, dried onions & garlic). We also added quail eggs and Pa Tong Ko (Chinese Crullers or Asian breakfast donuts which are great for dipping and soaking up the broth). Every dish is full of authentic taste and flavor. Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was steady busy. We didn't have to wait long to be seated and we ordered just about everything because we wanted to try it out. The sukiyaki was pretty good, I love the fact that they had the bread for the soup. We weren't a huge fan of the papaya (a bit fishy) or the chicken larb. So I have heard of this place FOREVER in my town! My kiddos and I finally made it and OMG . Everything was delicious! We tried several menu items: The wings(Crispy even after making it home), The Spring rolls were yummy, The Firecracker Shrimp has a punch so beware if you don't like spice! I was mad I had to share with my kids . We also had the Sweet & Sour chicken, Pad Thai, two kinds of fried rice. Everything was devoured in minutes! I love the pad thai, drunken noodles, rice, egg rolls, spring rolls, crab wontons, i also love the curry the only complaint i have about the curry is that it is a bit too watery for my liking, the flavors are fantastic, the consistency is my only issue. other than that this restaurant is a gem in murfreesboro. with reasonable pricing, spacious parking, EXCELLENT customer service, i mean always greeted with a smile. Both the staff and owner are very rude. I placed an order over the phone. The guy taking my order assured me the kitchen could fulfill my request (Pineapple Fried Rice, No peas, No Carrots, No Coconut Milk and No Cashews [nut allergy]). After getting home, I discovered everything I asked to NOT be in my rice was in fact present, including the CASHEWS! I called the restaurant to inform them and they were convinced there were no carrots in my rice (SEE PICTURE) there's definitely carrots, and then had the nerve to say "it's not actually peanuts, it's cashews so we thought you just didn't want them".... a cashew is a NUT, an almond is a NUT, a pecan is a NUT .... just because it's not a peanut doesn't mean it's not a nut. They offered me a 30% refund.... 30% off of a meal that I could eat 0% of. You get my order wrong and ignorant enough to try to correct me on MY allergy and I have to pay. I've had great meals from here before but after this experience I definitely will not be returning. RESPONSE TO OWNER: Ma'am are you blind??! The picture clearly shows the evidence of CARROTS! You were NOT the person who took my order so don't tell me what I didn't say. I spent over 8 minutes on the phone placing this order with Kyle. I specifically asked for no peas, no carrots and no cashews. I'm aware there aren't any peanuts in the rice, I mentioned my allergy to nuts period. The folks here used to run another restaurant that was one of my favorites and I was so happy to see they are back in business. It's a small, family-owned business where the owners work like heck to produce tasty, authentic and reasonably-priced Lao/Thai food. A word of warning, the heat levels are authentic and not watered down, so be careful if you go for 5-stars, it is HOT! They are quite busy during the dinner hour and though we managed to find seats, we saw others waiting for a table. The standards Pad Kee Mao, Tiger Tear and Pho were all very good. Not many people know about Lao food and I think they do a great job representing the Lao food community serving all the main favorites of Laos. My favorite things to order are the lad nah which is a stir fry noodle dish topped with gravy sauce full of flavor and the meat is always super tender, an order of the sai oua (lao sausage) full of aromatic herbs and spices that pairs perfectly with an order of sticky rice, and thum maak tuah (long bean salad)- a refreshing crunch, but note this is a seasonal item.
