He was able to help diagnose the root cause of my pain and gave a great explanation of the linkage between the mind and body. I thought it was great because he created a plan to get me back to running and stressed the importance of stretching exercises. I really appreciate the holistic healing approach even more. He also used his hands to sense inflammation and areas that were not normal. This is my gold standard for any type of PT. I went to Dr. Masha for issues related to hair loss. After taking a detailed health history, she…read morecreated a plan for me, part of it which focused on regulating my cycle. Though my cycle has always been irregular, for me, it was kind of an after thought. However, Masha noted that this was throwing off all my hormones, and that regulating it should be top priority. As part of her plan, she instructed me to eat specific seeds at different points throughout my cycle. I was skeptical that something so simple could work- but it did work! It's crazy that women's moon cycles can be regulated with something so simple as seeds! I can't believe this isn't common knowledge. One thing I really like about Dr. Masha as compared to other naturopathic doctors I have worked with is that she is careful to work within my budget. Her plan for regulating my cycle involved flax seeds and sesame seeds- something I could definitely afford. In the past, I have worked with naturopaths who convince me to spend hundred of dollars on specific tests, and then committee to a supplement regime that costs hundred of dollars every month. While Dr. Masha did recommend supplements, they are all ones that I could afford. She provided me guidance on brands, but did not insist that I buy the most expensive brand through her (as has been my past experience). Overall I am very pleased with my experience with Dr. Masha and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for an alternative to the conventional pharmaceutical approach. She is very easy to talk to and I felt safe and comfortable throughout the whole session.

Let me update everyone on this office. I have been a patient with Dr Yvonne Tyson since 2009 and I…read morecan truly say that the patient care has gone to the dogs. The front office staff fails to check their messages, return calls or follow up on anything. They will send your rx to an incorrect pharmacy or not send it at all. I recently referred a coworker to Dr Tysons office about 3 weeks ago, she has left a message to be a new patient and has had no return call. My experience with Leticia Gonzalez the Physician Assistant made a huge error with my patient care regarding prescriptions. I could've experienced a traumatic emergency that would not have been good for my child to witness, as I am a single mom and he would not have known how to assist. She then tried to right her wrong by taking my rx from 5mg to 100mg, she gave me medication that one cannot do daily functions while taking it and it did not help my current situation. I called and L/M for another review of the rx and why would I go from 5mg to 100mg. No return call, just another rx order to my pharmacy for the same 100mg she sent prior. This office is very negligent when it comes to patient care. I've requested to speak w Dr Tyson but the front office staff is not allowing it and an appointment can't happen until August. On July 3rd I called the After Hours On Call Physician line for dr tysons office and no one returned my call and today is July 9th. I have contacted my insurance to move away from this office. If Dr Tyson does not want to see or care for her HMO patients then say so or pay attention to what is truly goin on in your office with the physician assistant you are trusting to care for your patients. If you have a patient who has been coming to you for over 12 years, please take the time to hear their concern to correct the situation or learn what can be done better in the future. But to take a blind eye to negligence of your staff that represents your medical office and your brand is ridiculous at the least. I have always had a PPO, but switched to an HMO as she took the insurance, well I see the patient care changed upon the HMO insurance being effective. I hope everyone can understand why one must not consider this office for patient care if you want true empathy care and correct diagnosis with correct prescriptions. On my last post I mentioned the front office lack of efficiency isn't a reflection on the physicians but after my experience on May 27th and July 1st has confirmed that it's the entire office and it seems like Dr Tyson is clueless. I can say one thing, the two front office staff and Gonzalez do a good job at blowing smoke up Dr Tysons butt to cover their tracks, because the Dr Tyson I've know would never allow such unethical inefficient and negligent patient care period.

After asking me my info They walked out and went home. The front office girl came in 20 min later and dismissed me. The last straw was having the front office girl call me to give me my results and advise me what the PA told her to tell me. I made it clear that's unacceptable and I'm going to be filing a grievance. Instead of the main doctor calling to find out what's going on , they sent me a letter telling me to find a new Dr.

My experience with this visit was disappointing, especially considering that we chose this practice…read moreas private-pay patients based on its philosophy of care. During our discussion, I was explaining my concerns about delaying a certain medical schedule (not refusing it completely) but I felt the conversation became more of a lecture than a discussion. I would have appreciated a more collaborative approach to addressing our questions. I was also surprised by several recommendations that were presented as personal preferences, including that baby-led weaning is better than purées and a recommendation to avoid traveling with children until they are 2 years old. Given that my baby is not yet sitting up independently (she's 5 months old and still floppy), I would have preferred guidance that was more tailored to her developmental readiness, along with an explanation of the evidence behind these recommendations. One of the reasons we chose this practice was because the website states that they work collaboratively with families regarding certain healthcare topics. Unfortunately, that was not our experience during this visit with Mike. Rather than feeling that our questions were explored through a collaborative discussion, we felt that there was limited opportunity for dialogue. I value providers who explain the reasoning behind their recommendations, discuss the available evidence, and partner with families to make informed decisions. Unfortunately, I left feeling that there was limited opportunity for discussion or individualized guidance.

We were only 10 minutes late, with a toddler in tow, and it was our very first visit. Life with little ones can be unpredictable, and we expected a little understanding. We understand the importance of timeliness, but a bit of grace would have gone a long way, especially for new families trying to find the right care team. It left us feeling more like a number than valued patients. Great provider, but the rigid policy and lack of flexibility took away from an otherwise positive experience
