This auto body shop has a pretty tricky parking lot to get into but they do great work. My front bumper was repaired from an accident in February but wasn't repaired properly. I had got into another accident in September and DJ and his crew at S&K repaired the same bumper better than before. He fixed the fix. Only bad thing is my backseats were dirty, my car was clean when I gave it to him, but it was dirt stains in the back seat. Nothing I can't clean though. But yea, good service. read more

I had got an oil change with another place that didn't screw on the safe guard underneath to my engine. as i'm on my way to work I hear it clashing against the floor on the freeway. I so happened to be next to this auto body and none other around. I stop in and ask the gentleman if he was able to twist on a clip to the right side. it only needed one!!! and he said yeah I can but it'll be 50$. ripping me off just to literally clip on a twist on my safe guard that would take him a minute to do. i'm upset that kindness really is dissipating everywhere you go even when you do good for others. so I parked my car in their parking area and took off 5 twist with one hand because I couldnt fit under my car and they just watched me. it took me 30 min vs a couple minutes of their time. just very upsetting read more

Since getting my car back I've received several text asking for my feedback so here it is.. Day after drop off DJ called asking can I ok the repair with my insurance so he can get paid before I even made it back to the shop to get my car, i did it so the man could get his money and go on with his other repairs.. after pickup I had to bring my car back again so they could remove some damage they made and correct other minor issues but around this DJ's attitude changed, I get it, you don't want the same cars in your shop and you probably dislike me based off something someone told you about me but honestly I don't care lmao don't get mad at the customer when I paid the deductible for the work to be done.. Be mad at the people you hired that have to slow up your day by having the same car come back in again... I wouldn't come here unless your Filipino or know people that work here. read more

My gear shift on my BMW broke and I know not every mechanic shop fixes BMWs but he was up front with what he could do, and that was to "check it out" and let me know what was wrong with it. I took my vehicle into DJ last week after having two other mechanics who inspected my vehicle and could not find the problem. It was making a popping sound on the driver side wheel area each time I would go over a bump. After they test drove it and lifted the vehicle up on the rack for inspection they found that the driver side lower control arm was loose. They just had to re-tighten the nut on the control arm. Don (DJ) is so knowledgeable, honest and helpful. Originally, I brought my car to a different smog center and didn't pass (and of course, I had to pay). But because it's only a smog center, they can't do any repair or check. Then I check around to find a shop with smog and repair and found some but decided to go with S & K. DJ told me that possibly it's the catalytic converter (because I replaced some emission related parts already) but they have to evaluate the cat converter to make sure it's the one causing the high NO on my previous smog. To save some money before I go with the higher level of repair, he even recommended to use "Seafoam" first (for $8), then he will check if I can pass the smog, and if I pass I only have to pay for the smog but if not, he won't charge me for the smog until he fixes the problem (which I think is a pretty good deal). The following day he run the smog but it didn't pass so I left the van in the shop. The same day and it's done. And he's right, it was the catalytic converter. I believed the fair amount that I paid for the repair was worth for the great service (plus the friendly staff). read more

I got a dent in my car and was super bummed out about it. There's 2 other auto repair places right next to this but S&K is the best. One of them said it would cost $300 and take 1-2 days to fix! The other one right next to it said it couldn't be done. But S&K said it could be fixed in 1-2 hours for $80!!!! This place is a women's worse nightmare! I say this because women always fear being taken advantage of by their mechanic and well he did it. I knew I needed to get my brakes replaced badly because I was hearing grinding so I took my car to Don at S&K and asked him to inspect my car and tell me how much he would charge me to have my brakes repaired. After inspecting it he said that both my front and back brakes needed changing and also that I needed new rotors. With that being said he told me he would charge me $500-$600 I was dumbfounded. So naturally not wanting to go with the first quote I was given I went to a couple other places and both had much more of a reasonable price than S&K. Not only did getting my brakes repaired only cost me $125 bucks but come to find out only my front brakes needed to be replaced and my rotors were able to be grinded down and did not need to be replaced yet there was minimal damage to my rotors. So all in all I felt really taken advantage of at s&k and will never go back again read more
