LADIES AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. The guy that did my smog check was extremely unprofessional, and gross!!! He started asking me very personal questions, then proceeded to tell me "a pretty girl like you shouldn't be working she should let a man take care of her" and started insinuating that man can be him which is super weird and creepy!! He then started telling me I have a nice body I was so uncomfortable but he had my car up on the lift so I couldn't immediately leave. I tried to be respectful and polite so I can quickly get out of there and never come back!!!! read more

Their service was not the best to say the least. I felt very uncomfortable and was given many stairs. As I stayed and waited for my car to be finished, I caught a glimpse at a very disgusting and uncomfortable site. All the employees were looking at every female that would come in up and down in a creepy and uncomfortable way no matter the age,Truly disgusting. The whole experience was very unprofessional, and very vague to say the least of what my problem of my car was even though it eventually got done I wasted more time than I had to to be here. would not recommend. read more

I was in search of a quick nearby smog shop that was open till 6pm. Gave Danny's smog a call and told me, it would be 50.00 and was open till 6pm. He took my car right in on arrival and charged his original quoted price. His shop is located behind the businesses in the front of the street. Dannys Smog Check 'gets the job done' and nothing to else to it. I made the mistake of choosing a place that isn't very fair to first time customers. It would be right to assess the car before plugging in the contraption test that would go into the system. My car was in a great condition to pass the smog and visual test. But he did not pass my car due to visual inspection. The auto part which was changed out had a CA compliant sticker to show proof as it's carb legal. But he still did not pass me. I then went to another shop to check if I can get it done there. They mentioned it was a cleared auto part and it should have been passed. However they were unable to move forward since I needed to go back to DANNYS bc in order to get passed you must go back to the same place after correcting what was passed. It was a mess to fix the problem. Save yourself time and your money. He might have even offered intentional fraud to pass the car by giving him more money; which was declined of course. No thanks. Worst business ever. Oh and thanks for offering a beverage once I came. Still want to give no stars LOL read more

(I guess tax made it 45.90) So I came here there was no one here. As soon as I pulled up, my car was in. I've been here three times to take my mom's car. This is an owner operated smog check, that being said the man is friendly, customer oriented and speaks perfect English. He always offers refreshments to customers which is a cute touch. I waited about 15 min and was out the door. He will do a retest within 30 days for $10 I think. He does do the transfer to the DMV. $45.00 smog test and accept debit/credit. read more

Got smog? Holy smokes! Greatest smog place ever! Danny wasn't there but his employee, Bryan (or Brian) helped me out. He knew his stuff, was gentle with the car and very cordial. The whole smog check took less than 15 minutes. Sweet! The place is a bit hard to find, tucked behind a small strip mall with aging businesses. DANNY the owner of the shop fail my car because a visual inspection saying my vehicle is modified. But I have a carb legal intake and he says it isn't allowed by state and then he offered to pass me if I paid him $150 which is fraudulent. So then I tried going to another smog spot where I usually go to and said that DANNY is wrong. I also contacted the manufacturer of the intake which was injen and said it okay. This man is a fraud be careful of his actions make sure you don't pay him if he tells you that you failed his test. read more

Great friendly service at first it didn't pass he told me to run it because I had stop using it so it was cold and it gets bad when u don't use your vehicles. This place is great and quick. When I first started coming here, it was purely by an accidental necessity. I exited at Carson and then saw a Smog Check sign. I needed a smog check done quickly so that I could turn it in for my registration. I come here and the guy offers me some bottled water, gets my smog check done quickly, and then sends it electronically to the DMV. In about 15 minutes I get this huge monkey off my back and then I can just go and pay for my registration. Great service and quick. read more

I'm going to go ahead and say that this is theee BEST smog check place ever! We came a little late in the day, it was Friday late afternoon and my husband and I just got off of work. We were running all over town looking for a place to get the car smog checked that wasn't closed for the weekend. We arrived while the man was checking another car. He told us to just go ahead and park our car off to the side. While we waited he came out to our car with a tray of cold drinks and offered us a cold beverage. Free! Once it was our turn to get checked, my husband pulled the car up and before I could even reach the handle the smog check tech opened the door for me and helped me out of the car. I was absolutely awe struck. I've never had this kind of treatment during a smog check (and not many other places either). During the smog test the man chatted, made friendly jokes and just made us feel extremely comfortable. He also went so far as to diagnose the strange noise my car had been making. It turns out my car had a small crack in the manifold. This wasn't just one time treatment either. Another man came for service while are car was still being checked, and he offered him a drink and a place to sit. I left this place feeling good about the whole experience. Which doesn't happen much when I'm forking over money for a smog check. I highly recommend this smog check station. You will not be disappointed ....unless your car doesn't pass the test. read more

Came to this smog station a few weeks ago to complete my vehicle's registration. Everything was going okay until I "FAILED" visual. So of course I asked Danny the reason why it failed. He says, it's because the catalytic converters installed on the vehicle were aftermarket, non compliant in CA, and were missing identification #s. He then tells me that to fix all 3 cats it would cost up to $800 and asked for my drivers license to see if that cats stolen. Today, I had time to go to a muffler shop to have the cats replaced with CA compliant parts to pass smog. The honest gentleman at the muffler shop explained that factory cats do not have identification #s especially for the year of the car ('99). The muffler shop basically said that Danny isn't very knowledgeable, unfit for the job, and unfair to be pulling quick stunts on customers. PLEASE AVOID. read more

Called at five forty and he said he would take me even though he closes at five thirty . when my daughter and I arrived he was super nice and offered us a drink (ice cold) & a banana... So glad I came here! I have a 91 miata and I've heard that different procedure are needed for older cars. I had called a few other places who couldn't smog check my car before I called here. Wish I would've gotten the older man's name, danny, maybe? Lol but he was super nice! Don't judge a book by its cover. For a quick stop smog shop its dirty but all shops are dirty. What this shop has going for itself is customer service, customer service, customer service.
