While JJ wasn't the lowest, they were the most comprehensive. For example, all of the other quotes quoted the shingles and work, but JJ Construction quoted shingles, tiles, gutters, and all hardware (new fans/vents/gutters). They are highly skilled. They did not rush the project (who wants a roofer who rushes?) and cleaned up every day. Communication was excellent. They installed Class 4 shingles, which lowered my home owners insurance by 20%. 5stars for price, options, communication, and getting it done…read more My roof was old and after a few shingles fell off i knew I couldn't delay. Options: Roman gave me the option to choose one of 3 types/grade of shingle replacement. (Another roofer only had one option). After picking the quality of the shingles I had plenty of color options. Cost: The estimate for the most expensive shingles from Roman was comparable to an estimate I got from another roofer. The final cost was within the range of the initial estimate. Completion: We were hoping to get this done in the early winter but the village wouldn't grant a permit until spring (but at least we tried.. the other roofer would not consider starting the job that late in the year). Roman was able to get a tarp over my roof's bald spot and that stayed for the winter. Once spring arrived we were able to get our permit and complete the project within a few weeks. It looks great. Communication: Roman was awesome at keeping me in the loop and responding to my inquiries.
