Inconsistent pricing. I have been numerous times and have gotten the same service every time. The price is never the same. The lady who did my manicure cut my cuticles causing me to bleed and didn't even apologize. She asked if I wanted her to clip my toe nails shorter and I said yes. She help up the clippers and literally faked clipping them. Then she filed my toe nails shorter with what appeared to be a used file. This place is gross. They reuse gloves and nail files on multiple customers. They dipped my BLOODY OPEN WOUND in the dip powder and then poured the excess back into the container to be contaminated for the next customer who chooses the same color I did. The staff are really nice and friendly, but the nail service is less than mediocre. I came to have acrylics removed and gel manicure. The picture actually looks better than the live result. The technician had to do the color twice because the nail was bubbling. She said it had to do with the sparkle in the nail, but I think it had more to do with the acrylic not being fully removed which left a gummy residue on the nail. The color coat should appear slick and shiny... but you can see lumps on the nail bed from the left over acrylic. I would not recommend this salon if you are having acrylics removed and wanting a gel manicure. read more

I have never been so disappointed in a nail salon. Usually I get my nails done by the rude a**hole male manager. But it's no big deal to me, I just don't say much. I tried to get my eyebrows tinted and waxed for the first time and LouLou waxes a HUGE bald spot in my eyebrow! (will attach image). Not only that, she was not even going to tell me! She made the mistake and tells me "I'll be back" with a huge smile. Probably to inform her team of the mistake. After 5 mins I, not knowing anything is wrong, received a FaceTime call then SEEING THE BALD SPOT when I go to answer. I was furious. I wait a couple more minutes and LouLou walks back in, still smiling from ear to ear. I'm waiting to see how she's going to break the news to me. Only thing that came out her mouth was "okay lets do your tint!" . This made me so angry. it's one thing to mess up a client, but it's another to have no integrity and not address it. I then asked "what Happened to my eyebrow, why is there a bald spot?!". Then she decides to be keep spilling apologies and tell me "I don't know, this has never happened to me before. My wax is runny today." if you noticed that, as a waxer, you should have not used the wax until the consistency was correct. I'm still so upset but she is guaranteeing the tint will fix it. so I let her tint my brows, having no idea this would completely waste my time. Since there was no hair in the spot to tint, I still had this huge bald spot. Now I'm just annoyed and ready to go . She tried to pencil it in but only had a light shade of brown so I looked horrible. I just gather my things to go. I head towards the door to leave in such embarrassMent , but then the embarrassment continued. LouLou SCREAMS "MAAM YOU NEED TO PAY!!" And runs after me. I'm so confused as to why you think im paying you for this huge f***UP!! Now the entire salon is looking at me oddly. I just carespond "I'm not paying for this!" LouLou then angrily says "okay" and rolls her eyes in disgust . I will never go back or recommend this for anyone. They make up their prices anyway. Came in as a walk in and got the best acrylics I've ever had. Larry took me immediately and did my nails extremely fast and beautifully. I've had multiple bad experiences before with chunky acrylic nails and uneven shape but he made them the perfect thickness and shape without any correction on my end. 20 years of experience will do that I guess. I will NEVER come back to this "business". I brought my daughter her to get a kid's manicure for her birthday. Nothing fancy. No gel. No designs. I repeatedly asked the lady at the front desk about a children's manicure. She assured me multiple times she could do it. She also got her toes polished. No pedicure just polished to match her nails. I got dip on my natural nails. That's all. I was charged $95 for this! My nails were $40 meaning the kid's manicure and toe polish is $55! That's absolutely ridiculous. Then the "manager" said they don't have a kids manicure and the other lady that told me that, doesn't know what she is taking about. Well someone else should be at the front desk giving prices then. And on top of that the job was below satisfactory. Completely ruined it for us. I'm so disappointed. We won't be back. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

I went to the salon on a Sunday around 3 PM. I waited for over an hour and was told to take a seat in a service chair and waited another 20 minutes. I understood that they were really busy and decided to leave and come back another day. After I left the female owner texted me and apologized for the long wait and stated she would do my pink fill-in for $20 if I would come in the next day. I agreed to come in after work the next day. I arrived to the salon and told her who I was. She called for her husband to do my nails. The fill-in took 30 minutes. Once finished, the husband claimed that because of my " nail condition" (my nails were grown out and needed buffed) the same condition they are always in when they need a fill-in) that he was charging me $35. He stated I was still getting a discount and that they normally don't give discounts. I stated that was not the price promised to me. Besides I did not ask for that price, Chi made the offer. That did not matter to him. Meanwhile, the female owner, Chi said nothing to rectify the situation. The sad thing is I would have paid full price for the nails, but it is the principle. I paid $43 and some change for a service that was offered for $20. The male owner was really rude and did not care for return business. Once I left the salon, I was texted by the female owner and she apologized and said she had no control over the situation. I told her to not make promises she can't keep. She and her husband need to get on the same page. Going back to this salon is not worth the hassle, I hope they will learn to honor their word to any future clients. read more

Why do nail salons always seem to have an elaborate crystal chandelier? Same thing with the gaudy chandeliers at Chinese buffets? What's that about? So that I know you are classy? Well now that I got that out... This place was pretty solid. I got a shellac polish, or gelish or gellac or gel polish. Whatever the kids are calling it these days. It was $15 and pretty solid. I am the exception to most ladykind in that I hate being in the nail salon. I am so impatient and do not feel like it is pampering, rather an unpleasant necessity, like the dentist. I hardly had to wait and had no appt. My guy was lightening fast and neat as could be! I spend most of my time watching the tech like a hawk, waiting for them to get a microgram of polish out of place, then I start panicking (all on the inside of course, wait: maybe this is why I don't enjoy the experience). I didn't even get to panic! Efficient, Effective and Flawless polish job! What does S&D stand for though? Search and Destroy? Stand and Deliver? Swipe and Deploy? Yeah, that one. I was really quite pleased with my experience here. It is clean, the staff is friendly and they watch The Price Is Right. My favorite show of all time. Any business that streams Drew Carrey is a winner in my book. Staff is typical of that at any of the local nail salons. I called to get directions and the guy who answered the phone was unable to give them. It made we wonder why he was answering the phone but I didn't even go there. Price was pretty standard. I do like that they did not try and push add on services. I wanted a pedicure and that is what I got. I had some rough patches on my feet and the tech took the time to really work on them. This was THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! I went in on a Saturday morning to get nails done. I didn't wait long for Lulu. I loved the color and the nails looked nice. I went home and by Sunday evening 3 nails had chipped or started to lose dip and look bad. I had done nothing to them at all! I went back Monday after work and told Lulu that these nails had started to chip and break. She was reluctant to repair them but she did. I did not pay to repair the nails it had only been 2 full days and they were already breaking. I had to go back the very next evening because 2 more nails chipped and 1 of the nails fixed that day before chipped again. This time she was busy and the man fixed my nails . Lulu told me this time id have to pay before they only do 1 free repair!! I WAS PISSED!! I had just shown 45 plus a 10 tip to get my nails done 2 days prior and had to come back 2 times to fix my nails!! I was not paying for anything!! She copped an ATTITUDE and told me that this time they would let me not pati again but id ganter to pay next time. I laughed and said THERE WON'T BE A NEXT TIME HERE! IT HASN'T EVEN BEEN 7 DAYS!!! Lulu is NOT who I would want to do my nails. The man's nails have stayed and looked nice. I would nit go back here even if they were giving free sets! Lulu was disrespectful in front of other customers towards me. I understand that this outs your job but you should also stand behind your work. Now I have to pay another 25 to repair all the chipped and broken nails! I'll NEVER go back. 3 broken 2 chipped 1 cracked and its been 8 days! These are my natural nails in dip powder. I have a mixed review. The people were very nice and helpful. In fact, they opened 30-minutes early, so I could get a morning appointment ... what wonderful customer service. My pedicure was normal. But, I was disappointed and extremely surprised that they removed my previous gel manicure with an electric rotary file. I get gel rather than acrylic manicures because I don't want my nail bed filed with a electric rotary file. My normal place uses plastic clips holding acetone soaked cotton to remove the gel manicure while I'm getting my pedicure. They had me soak my hands in a liquid during my pedicure but it didn't remove the gel ... So, they filed it off. read more

First time to this salon. I'm pretty picky about how I like my nails went in with good expectations based on other reviews. Guy who did my nails went above and beyond expectations. He even picked out a different brand but same color of gel polish I wanted because the other one "shrunk" as he put it on. He even explained the matte to me which I tried and love! Slight imperfections (mainly some polish around my nail which will easily come clean) overall pretty satisfied! Pedicure felt amazing. Pedicurist was pretty soft spoken but she tried to make small talk and did a great job. Will return. Price a little more than what I usually pay but it was worth it. Had a gel polish change on my hand (they took off existing gel polish) and shaped nails (no manicure) and a spa pedicure with regular polish $55 **update After three days two of my nails chipped pretty badly. Mind you this is shellac and should last a couple weeks. Went back this morning and they fixed the two no problem no charge. I appreciate that! read more

It's been a couple years since I got a full set. I came in a couple of weeks ago to get a new full set and I come to find out S&D had changed owners and had all new people working there for the most part. I had the lady that owns the place do my acrylics for the first time in a couple years and they were great and I loved them! Just today I went to get them filled. I had a much younger girl do them. She came over to me picking out a polish and told me she was ready but in a very rushed fashion, as if I couldn't pick a color fast enough. Well I sat down and she got started. When she was finished a few of my nails were different sizes than the others. Very disappointed. And to top it all off, I payed with my debit card. She took the card to swipe it and then came back and handed it to another younger guy that works at the shop for him to do it. They come back with my receipt and I sign. Luckily I looked at my back account v fore I left. They had swiped the card 3 DIFFERENT TIMES and charged me 3x the amount I owed. Currently waiting for my money back. I under stand things happen but you shouldn't let the girl that doesn't know how to run the card machine take your card and "try" to use it. Very unsatisfied. read more

This is an amazing place! I have been to many nail salons and this one puts them all to shame. The nail tech was very talkative and friendly, he really made me feel comfortable and welcome. I wasn't searching for conversation at all. I brought in my own polish (because I usually know very specifically what I want) however they have a huge variety of neon, glitter and any other color polish to choose from, and high quality brands at that. I got a nail fill and the tech took serious time with each nail, shaping it just right, and making sure the acrylic looked nice and smooth. The job he did on my mails was astonishing. He did a solid color with a glitter tip and he actually made the glitter bold and vibrant which I love!!! I've gotten two pedicures at S&D and I really like this place! It's about a 20 minute drive from my house and I pass by probably a dozen other places. Even though it is a small shop, the chairs are spaced out and you don't feel like you a cramped. Today I went for a pedicure with a friend that has some health problems that result in a lot of swelling in her feet. I have come here for several years to get my nails done. This past year this place has gone to crap. The prices are never the same. If you leave your teen to get nails done, with specific instructions, somehow the price is always $5-15 more than was originally quoted. (Which I feel is stealing from kids) I could give it a minus in the stars I would . I just left there after a woman sat talking on the phone for 20 minutes after she had me sit down to start my nails. Earlier this year I had an appointment for my daughter and I on the day before we left for our vacation, and the people we had an appointment with did not even show up. And of course being money grabbers like they are they didn't have a class or the decency to call and tell us. And Monday I took girls for before school nails. And ONCE AGAIN price is more than originally stated. This time was because my little girl picked multiple colors. As if they weren't going to have to paint them all anyways.
