Beautiful location inside the newer Moderno Hotel by Sofitel. Beautiful presentation and friendly service. We were greeted by security at the door, escorted by a lovely hostess who let us choose a table and were pleasantly surprised that the waitress spoke great English.
We ordered empanadas to start and were presented with a beautiful plate consisting of two Empanadas garnished with colorful pico sauce. In the land of steak and empanadas yours have to be fantastic to stand out. These were just ok. Next we ordered the seafood platter. There was no explanation but we rolled the dice. We received a fried fish plate with fried calamari, shrimp, salmon and whitefish. This also included a healthy side of green salad. The fried fish was lightly breaded but very greasy. Then finally we received the porterhouse steak which came with a topping of sweetbread and a garnish of the same pico sauce. Honestly the pico sauce and salad were my favorite part of the meal. The steak and accomponing fried potato stuffed with cheese was pretty cold. read more
