It's located in the Monserrat neighborhood a couple of blocks off the Plaza de Mayo and up the street from the beautiful Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi. The waiter explained to me why one must never say El Puerto Rico. It's La Puerto Rico. But apparently my Spanish is not good enough to catch the nuances. Just go with "la." But I do know this. La Puerto Rico was great for lunch. The service was excellent. We both had huge slices of savory pies -- think of the lunch in an English pub, but tastier. Mine was pumpkin and onions and it was terrific. My wife had a glass of lovely white wine. I stuck with a soft drink. Some of the older reviews are pretty critical. Apparently La Puerto Rico shut down during covid and reopened with a new menu, chef, and servers. If you're nearby, give La Puerto Rico a try.
