This small hole in the wall is just around the corner from where i live and the empanadas are really worth a try. They do traditional style empanadas with meat and spicy meat that are good but the really nice ones are the open style hand made empanadas filled with delicious stuff. The pizzita contains mozzarella and a rich tomato sauce, the 'forrest' has great umami flavor but is a little sweet. Chicken and mushroom is creamy and nice but a little bland. They also do pizza that looks pretty good but I haven't tried it. Drink options are very limited. Note that they don't have any seats to sit down and eat, this is all take away. When ordering more than 6 empanadas they do delivery. Prices are very reasonable, 25-30 pesos and the empanadas are so big and rich that 3 should be plenty for most people. Open for lunch and dinner but closed in the afternoon. read more
