This was our second time there. We were pleasantly surprised on our first visit, so we took our two brothers back with us this time when they were in town. We sat at the bar and had cocktails for an hour and the staff was very accommodating, pleasant and friendly. Then we sat and Debbie our bartender waited on our table. She was extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions. We enjoyed our food this time as much as the first. If you're looking for a cool understated vibe, then this is definitely worth your time. This was probably the best meal we had in Atlantic City. A bit off the beaten path (in a good way) and nice outdoor patio seating. Beer menu was limited but they had a full bar and some creative cocktails. Menu had a ton of tasty sounding options that I would return for- made for tough decision-making. This is a Great Location for an Event! I had such a positive experience working with Ryfe to plan my Father's birthday celebration from across the country. The owner was so responsive and really jumped through hoops to create the event I was hoping for. We had 45 people in the main dining room which was set up exactly to my specifications - with tablecloths and flowers. We arranged a fixed menu with appetizers and 4 entrée choices plus an open bar (drinks were big and inexpensive). All the staff really went above and beyond to make this the extraordinary experience we wanted it to be. Amy was SO accommodating and professional and the staff was polite, efficient and timed everything perfectly. They honored our request to wear masks even though they were all vaccinated and set up the large TV so we could show slide shows as well as pipe our playlist into the speakers. And the food? WOW!  From the appetizers to the entrees, everything was cooked perfectly and so delicious! I am still craving the sauce on the shrimp crostini. The tender filet, crust on the salmon, al dente veggies and mashed potatoes - everything was cooked perfectly. I heard so many rave reviews from our guests. We waited for almost a half hour until the manager came over asking if we wanted another round and more chips for the dip. 4. The same person in my party ordered a water and got a sprite. 5. I really wanted to like this place, it's cute and has a great - very attentive staff. However, the food Just wasn't there. Super underwhelmed and disappointed actually. I ordered the pork chop and it was undercooked, the middle was slimy and kinda raw. The steak we had was cooked well, but the sauce ontop was really bad. The customers behind us overheard me saying my food wasn't good and proceeded to tell us that his simple steak taco didn't taste good either. Really wish this place was better. Came in a Saturday night in September. Every restaurant at the casinos was booked. This is a hidden gem!! The food was excellent! Artichoke dip as an appetizer was awesome. We also had the buffalo chicken flatbread, which was also good. Steaks were great! The mashed potatoes served with the steak were awesome! On a side note, the Mexican mule was way spicy! Went here twice in one day cause the food waa amazing. Nachos were so good, loved the fresh jalepenos! THE spot in AC for doing a private event. We did our wedding rehearsal dinner here and could not have been happier. Ryfe worked with us on the menu to accommodate special dietary restrictions and was able to do the dinner buffet-style at our request. I ordered Ryfe tonight for the first time through UberEats and it was amazing! We got the Asiago cheese and artichoke dip with ciabatta bread which was so delicious. We also got the Bella burger and Classic Cheeseburger. The buns were soft and the cheese was melted perfectly. I wasn't sure if the burgers were going to come with fries so we ordered the truffle fries, too. The fries with the burger were great, although a little salty. The truffle fries were awesome. We came here for my son's 13th birthday, on a spur of the moment decision. The good stuff: Mozzarella sticks were excellent, perfectly cooked. He had his heart set on a steak, and the Ribeye did not disappoint! I had the crabcakes, and they were glad to dish them with fries, due to asparagus not being available, and the other option being spinach, which I don't eat. I had a Rum Punch, but had to stop at one, as I think a second one would have made it tough to drive. The not so good: My wife ordered the chicken tacos, which were presented very nice, but the chicken seemed very bland, and the tortillas a bit soggy. We were only the second table to be seated in the entire outdoor dining area, with no wait. The rest of the deck was empty. Yet we were seated in the far corner, right next to the only other people dining. In the pandemic, that made us almost feel intrusive to their personal space. Put in appetizers for Mozzerella Sticks and Buffalo Chicken Flatbread, AMAZING. If the appetizers were that good I couldn't wait for our meals. Did not disappoint. First I will state I have never made a review on yelp in my life. But this is the first time I have had a problem with my food in a restaurant. We called ahead to make reservations at 7:10pm but when we arrived they told us they didn't have a reservation for us. So who was the person we talked to over the phone? But maybe it was a "simple mistake" nothing more to it. No one was at the front desk and the workers around didn't even acknowledge us. But when someone finally did they just seemed confused. They then asked for the manager to come and sort the issue out but it took 10 minutes of waiting to just get someone to talk to us. When we walked in the restaurant the ambiance is nice and modern. Pretty lights, good place to take cute photos. But enough of that... upon waiting 30 minutes for two surf and turf (full tail and half tail), lobster bisque, lobster fried rice and etc. The pattern in this is that the food that we collectively ordered had something to do with lobster. We got our food and the first thing I noticed is that the rice was super bland. A friend ordered Asian Black Cod and as a Korean I was personally offended because nothing about the Asian black cod supposedly cooked with a Korean sauce tasted like what a typical Asian black cod would taste like. Essentially all my friend ate was a overcooked piece of cod on a plate of sweet corn with watered down rice. No seasoning was on the cod nor rice. It didn't even taste like salt was added to it to at least HELP or in this case SAVE the dish. Then when we got the lobster dishes like I mentioned earlier in this review. They were so dry I really mean it was DRY. Not like "ah this is a little hard to eat" it was more like "this is not edible". It makes me sad because in my culture we were raised not to waste food. But the lobster, a beautiful piece of seafood that most people would consider "premium" Seafood, I wouldn't even give it to a homeless person for them to eat it. I'm sorry but I'm being very serious... As a group we agreed the lobster was too dry for everyone's dish. When you squeeze the lobster no butter or oils came out of it nor did it even break apart. It was just a rubber toy. We had a group meeting and decided to ask for the manager to see what we can do about the bill. The manager finally came around after 5-10minutes and we were trying to be quiet because we didn't want to cause a scene in the restaurant. The manager came up and just says out loud "What's Wrong?" So everyone stared and was quiet in the restaurant... I stated calmly and quietly but just enough where she can hear me and I say "this lobster... we can't eat it... nobody in this table can eat these lobsters... they're not edible, super chewy, and dry." She just stares at me and asked "what should we do?" ... i thought "I don't know I'm not the manager???" But I kept it to my self and said "we would just like the lobster taken out since all of our dishes were lobster or had lobster in them". We pass one of the lobsters to her to check out all she said was "deal"... and we said to her "I'm sorry we didn't want to complain and make a scene." And her response was still "deal" and walks away... no apology. I feel like as a manager your job is to make sure that the customer is comfortable and having a good time not make us wonder and feel bad that your food taste horribly. They did take 20% off the check but it just felt like we got hit with a family discount. In conclusion... I don't know how this place has 4/5 stars. If you want a cute place to drink at the bar, hangout with your friends and take cute pics then go here. But don't go if you hate dry and rubbery seafood, bland rice, confused staff that seem lost, overpriced food, and a quiet chaotic mess in the background. This place looked great but I wouldn't say the food was worth the hype, like the Kardashians. I will leave it up to you, the reader, to decide if that was fair discount or not. read more

A really good pub in AC, in a less crowded area. Food is excellent, though the kitchen closes at 9, well before the rest of the bar does. Bartenders are super friendly and talkative. Patrons especially are nice. Went here for karaoke a while back and everybody talked to everyone and were super supportive of newcomers like myself.
