Well, the inevitable happened. My first new car ever, 3 years in, was hit by another vehicle while…read moreit was parked on the side of the road overnight. At first, it didn't appear there was too much damage. After calling ICBC, and taking care of all the claim stuff, I did some research and this body shop came highly recommended by someone I trust and care about. I drove down and inquired within to see when they could possibly fit me in to repair my precious car. I was met with the manager, Moe. I was extremely impressed with how easy it was to get everything taken care of. Moe went above and beyond, no doubt understanding how difficult the loss of my precious car was to me. As I needed a courtesy vehicle (I cannot be without a car for multiple reasons) I was told to wait a few days for a car to become available. This was not a problem as my car was still driveable. I brought my car in and everything was taken care of. Moe was sure to keep in touch with me every step of the way. With a repair bill of over $10,300 and a bent frame, ICBC deemed my car to be a total loss and advised me to return to the shop to return the courtesy car (which was very nice and clean by the way). As I was at work that day, I quickly phoned Moe to inform him of the situation. He understood and allowed me to keep the courtesy car over the weekend as my shift was not over until long after the shop was closed. the following Monday, I was supposed to be picked up by a rental car company after returning the courtesy car. The rental company called me that morning and advised me that there were no rentals available and that I would have to wait until another day. Moe called his rental guy and tried to get me a rental car from him, but alas, it was the same problem. Moe said that he didn't want to leave me stranded, and granted me an additional day with the courtesy car. I was so moved that I almost hugged him on the spot. I went straight to a car dealership and bought a new car that day, and manage to return the courtesy car that evening, just before closing time. Although my car was not able to be repaired by this auto body shop (ICBC towed it away for parts), the level of customer service was so above and beyond that, I would return to this shop anytime anywhere when needed. I have rarely met such compassion and understanding from a person, let alone a business. This place definitely deserves 6 stars out of 5. Many thanks to Moe and the team at Andy Sorensen Autobody & Frame Ltd, you will always have my gratitude for all you did during this difficult time.

I found it difficult to spend the time and money to get regular maintenance servicing done on my car at MB in Langley. So, I went about trying to find an independent mechanic that I would trust with my car. Canadian Tire recommended the other European specialist in Abbotsford - but they are not open Saturday. European Auto was ... so I dropped by and met the Owner (Donald) who was open Saturday and made plans to have my maintenance work done at his shop. I was very happy with the service. I work close by - so Donald dropped me off at the office and picked me up when he was done. Put my mind to rest on a couple of things - OK Tire had refused the free service of rotating my tires at 10,000 Km for tire wear - Donald said there was several 1,000 Kms left on the tires and rotated them during the service visit. A visit to Canadian Tire a week later confirmed there is a couple of seasons of tread left on the tires. Sorry OK - no tire purchase from me. Fix Auto had broken a trim clip and the panel part had fallen off (the car is old) - Donald offered to Crazy Glue the clip back together and re-installed the panel during the service visit. Any story of mine where MB had been trying over the past few years, to up-sell motor mount, gasket seals work ... or OK Tire advising me my wheel alignment could not be adjusted perfectly any more ... was answered by Donald in a typical independent mechanic calm sense - replying do only what is necessary. And most of that stuff is not a problem. Preventative maintenance is time or Km mileage based in nature.... And I had my spread sheet of everything ever done to the car handy. Donald changed the oil, replaced the brake fluid, changed the air filter for the cabin (it was found to be filthy from all that desert driving), rotated the tires, repaired the clip and re-set that panel ... advised that brakes were OK, tires are OK. All for about 60% of what MB quoted for the larger (A or B) service. Plus, I did not have to rent a car for the day! I'll be back - definitely. Donald in conversation confirmed to me that he is a competent mechanic and an avid car guy. He once restored a SL 380 one time to like new condition when he lived in Florida.

My elderly parents 82 & 79 arranged to have their car out to Willowbrook Chrysler. The Driver showed up. Great! As the key making could not be done for their car anywhere in Surrey. My mom & I were on the Phone with BCAA. My dad booked under his basic membership. However, my Mom has the Plus membership. BCAA told my mom to go out and give her card to the driver which she did and driver wrote it down. Then told my parents they had to take payment of overtime from them. Pardon? Of course my parents put it on their credit card. Plus Bayview had my Dad's Basic Membership and My Mom's Plus membership. I contacted Bayview Towing to correct this situation. She said "If BCAA said that it's a lie" continued to say more of the same rhetoric. I don't appreciate receptionist/Dispatcher slamming people who have been very caring with my elderly parents. Unlike Bayview Driver who outright told my parents it was "Overtime " and then the receptionist/dispatcher who said "Because your dad only had a Basic Membership and that is the reason for the charge " I explained My Mom, myself and BCAA where on the phone and the BCAA Professional told my Mom to give her card to the driver as she has a plus membership and her tow of 14.5 km would be fully Covered " We stayed on the phone while she did that. Taking advantage of clearly Vulnerable People is exactly what happened as soon as I and the BCAA professional hung up. Bayview said only BCAA can change that so call them. I did call BCAA spoke with a Professional and he tried to get to change and as for a refund for my parents credit card. Bayview said their card already been charged to late. The driver charged their card that is not new information. Both the receptionist/dispatcher and driver took advantage of my parents and didn't give a damn. Bayview did call me back after I hung up and I was on the phone with BCAA. There is absolutely nothing they can say to right this wrong. Since they never tried in the first place. BCAA is well aware of what transpired and has it on their memberships to NEVER use Bayview again for my parents. Willowbrook Chrysler is well aware of what happened to my parents. Luckily the driver hadn't dropped off the car yet. So now Bayview is on the radar of other businesses as well. I can handle someone who clearly doesn't want the job they have receptionist/dispatcher. What I want stand for is taking advantage of Elderly Vulnerable people not my parents or someone else's. That is the reason for my review today. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Bayview towing to ANYONE. What was done to my parents was/is appalling and disgusting. Then Blame it on BCAA. It wasn't BCAA saying it was "Overtime" it was their Bayview Driver. That is exactly what my parents believed they were paying for. Had they known it was my dad's membership card they would not have gotten their credit card. My mom would have quickly referred to her membership number she had given the driver and he wrote down. This what being paid on commission means. Take advantage of anyone you can looks like. Attention Dan and Corey: Corey your sister is the receptionist/Dispatcher I speak of in this review. So the rude, unprofessional and who is Quick to Slam others. That will never change will it Corey Because she is your sister? Time & Date I will listen to the recording of it. Seems to be your answer in a lot of others where you have said the same thing. Here is the philosophy I live by "Do your best to help the situation whether it is your fault or not" "No business is perfect and mistakes happen. It is in that moment that a business defines the business what they do to make it right that matters" Your Receptionist/Dispatcher taught me What Bayview Customer Service is. They showed me how who they are, and I believe them now. Any other towing company is better than Bayview.
