I haven't been to a dentist in over 8 years. I never was a fan of the dentist office as always hated getting X-rays done, etc. Upon my visit to this office I was greeted by the front desk staff Jessica and one other, I'm so sorry I forgot the name....forgive me! However, they both made me feel at home and welcomed! I met Elaina and Kelly, both amazing as well! I already have met so many amazing people at this facility. I'm going back on Wednesday for another part of the initial exam and already have my next appointment for cleaning scheduled next year. We often meet special people throughout our life but I never thought I would meet such an amazing human in a million years at the dentist. Dr. Ryan Savage literally has a passion, heart, and love for his clients, family, staff, and their smiles too. If you're looking for a great dentist look no further! Dr. Savage worked on a prior client's teeth of mine (veneers) and when I saw her teeth. I just knew he was the dentist for me. However I had to figure out how to work Instagram first! I did that and followed him to see if his work was really that good and if it was even possible to give me back my beautiful smile that I had lost over the last decade. I really thought that my teeth were too far gone! I followed Dr. Savage on Instagram for over a year before I ever sent him a message. As each month went by I told myself this is the month that I'm going to overcome my fears and I'm going to write him a message but I just couldn't do it I was too afraid. I unfortunately had a previous terrible dental experience with another dentist. I was embarrassed by the way that my teeth looked. But as I struggled to overcome my fears every day after the babies went to sleep...I would drink my coffee and go on Instagram to look at Dr. Savage's pictures, funny stories, and reels to see his work! I was amazed! The last one that I looked at in December 2021 was his year end review and I laughed and laughed. I said to myself I just have to meet this guy he's so funny so after thinking about it a few more weeks. And before I knew it he had messaged me back with an appointment literally the next day. I couldn't believe it! That literally happens nowhere. (He happen to have a cancellation as a client was sick.) It was meant to be!! As I drove to the appointment I was terrified but I knew I had to go! My teeth, smile, and dental health are important. I'm so glad that I overcame my fears because I have had nothing but an amazing experience from the moment I stepped in the door with his staff, his associates, and everyone that works with him. There is a lot of teamwork at Dr. Savage's office and he would not be able to do his magic without a great team behind him! They all care and really work together well!! I have been going to Dr. Savage for my dental needs since 2009. Having known his staff for so long, I can attest that they truly care about their patients' needs and wellbeing, and work very hard to maintain a level of quality and attention that is found in few businesses. I have had cleanings from Kelly and Britnie, the office's hygienists, and they both are gentle yet thorough with their deep cleanings, on top of being very congenial. Dr. Savage fixed my chipped tooth flawlessly...you'd never be able to tell it was repaired, and the fix has held up for almost 15 years. The office has a great vibe, there are calming amenities for patients who are on the more nervous side, and Dr. Savage always seems to have the most cutting edge dental tech on hand. Dr. Alex, the assistants and the ladies up front are always very friendly, professional, and accommodating. There is also a handyman guy that comes in sometimes to build/fix things, I haven't caught his name but he also seems pretty chill. From what I can tell, Dr. Savage's practice does everything from deep cleanings to high-end veneers to Invisalign to implants. He even has patients that fly in from out-of-state, just because he is the best! I had been using Dr Savage for about two years since my previous dentist had retired. Over that time I had a few different dental hygienists that cleaned my teeth during the routine check ups and they were absolutely wonderful...Very polite and friendly. Dr. Savage is friendly enough as well, but the problem I had with him was the constant pushing that I needed this, that, and the other done on my teeth. I always listened but politely declined the multi-thousand dollar procedures they insisted I needed. My wife was using Dr Savage as well and she has the most perfect set of teeth I have ever seen...never had even one cavity her entire life. Little did I know Dr Savage insisted that my wife needed the same type of issues fixed with her teeth. It would cost thousands of dollars to do all the work he wanted to do. The first thing he asked was "do you have insurance?". Since we didn't he said no problem we can set you up on a payment plan, how convenient. I didn't find this out until my wife had already paid multiple payments to them. The final straw came when I was talking about the situation later that week with a friend and WITHOUT ME EVEN SAYING THE DENTIST's name my friend said, "Let me guess, you went to Dr Savage up on the hill". Now what are the odds of alllll the dentists in the area that my friend would know who I was talking about without even saying his name?? Turns out my friend had been going to him a year earlier and said the same exact thing. He was tired of being constantly pushed to get work done on his teeth. Now with all that being said I still didn't feel the need to write a review. We simply changed dentists and found one we love...and by the way all those "issues" with our teeth were not issues with our new dentist. HOWEVER, just recently I heard my sister in law talking about how she doesn't know how she is going to pay for all her dental work she needs. I listened quietly without saying a word...you guessed it, she was using Dr Savage as her dentist. I wasn't going to write a review but I feel it has to be noted. Three different families unknowingly using the same Dentist, all being pushed to get more work done than what was necessary (according to other dentist's opinions). Had my dental check up and teeth cleaning done by Dr. Susana Kay a few months ago, and it was done painlessly. I was really nervous getting my check up with Dr. Kay, however the dental assistants there were really professional and friendly, and throughly explained everything that they were doing for me from the inital x-rays to dental fillings that had to be done. the equipment being used felt top-of-the-line and modern, and the entire office was super clean and sterile.
