They said we can go to the bar area. We get there and I mentioned I'm up for what is close to sweet and was given 2 choices and was able to sample taste each. The last one had a lingering taste so I opted for the lady that was helping us first choice. We asked for water and were given Fiji water bottles. I thought it would be included on the bill but was only charged for the glass of wine. She thanked us and I said I wanted to enter a tip but she said they don't ask. There was a tip jar but I don't carry cash. (Bring cash) We walked around and found the iconic side of palm tree way There were a few people taking photos and we sat at a table near by. When there wasn't anyone we took pictures (some people were far down the way but they were just behind me in my photos) while I checked what else I could have photograph, a few women wanted to take theirs. They asked if we could take their pictures and I opted to since I was a photographer back in my day. They posed and I took a few then I suggested a bit of a pose for them and they loved it. Another one said she came all the way from New York and I took a few for her as well, which she also loved. I definitely want to come back again, especially with the great first experience. However, this review is for the service at the bar which I genuinely hope management takes into account for future events. There was a complete lack of organization. My friends and I filled a space at the bar as previous customers left. One of the young female servers took our drink order and said she would make sure the bartender saw. Drinks came out on the bar with receipts but while I was checking, one of the workers asked if they were for upstairs. The bartender replied, "I have no idea". After 5-10 minutes of waiting and checking, I noticed that everyone behind us had already received their drink. I notified another server about our issue and he was ready to fix it for us. However, our previous server noticed we were mentioning something and told her coworker the order was already in. She proceeds to tell us our drinks will be right out. She "checks" at least two more times to see if our drinks are ready. By "check", I mean that she only looked over from afar--she didn't actually go up to the bartender to make sure our drinks were next. At this point me and my friends were frustrated from seeing two rounds of other people receive drinks. We canceled our order with a different server because ours had zero initiative. I enjoy coming here--please do better for your employees and customers.
