I have been charged over $800 in personal training fees even though I will never use their training. I was told in November to not worry about it and it's been taking care of when i asked to no longer receive personal training as it was expensive and i was moving back to texas. what i was told was furthest from the truth as I was texted mid april saying I had 8 $60 dollar training that i had been charged for after my conversation in November being told I no longer need to worry. they asked if i am ever coming in to use the trainings I had unknowingly payed for...? I had said to cancel everything and refund the money to me since i won't be using these trainings and they had said they won't be able to do that. They still charged me for two more sessions after a call and email sent to their "support" saying i will not want any training and a refund. yall they will not listen to their customer and they do not care about you...they care about their money. I am a college student and have never had such little amount of money since attending college. please don't sign up as they will only wish to take your money as i have seen from my experience. Also, if you move in with your parents and give the real excuse of moving somewhere that there are none of their gyms near your new location then they will not work with you as they have said they need utility bills as a proof of move...I don't pay bills for utilities in my parents house. I have no idea how I am going to get this money back and it's been a discouraging and upsetting process and I only hope to protect others from joining this gym. JUST. DONT.

I'm an older guy and I lost a lot of weight and got in really good shape. Thanks to Kelsey and a couple of the trainers there and their nutrition knowledge. They have a cool machine that not only weighs your but helps you find your body measurements and fat percentages etc. Great place - enjoyed my time there. I torn Achilles and that ended by HIIT training for a while.

I had high hopes but I'm incredibly disappointed. (Text conversation attached)…read more I signed up for the 6 week program ($399) based on the understanding that my money would be put towards paying the monthly fee at the end of the challenge, if I chose to continue with a membership. (We agreed on a discounted rate of $59 that would start after the challenge.) Turns out their employee explained it wrong and the upfront deposit does not go towards the monthly payment and they refuse to honor it. I'm 6' 2" and 190 lbs. My wife is about 130 pounds and 5 foot 4". Her goal was to LOSE weight and LOSE bodyfat. My goal was to gain weight. We were given the *exact* same nutritional meal plan with the exact same amounts to eat. So apparently it's few enough calories to help her lose weight but enough to make me gain weight?? Half way through the challenge, when I was losing weight instead of gaining, the advice was to "eat more". I really wanted this to be a great gym. I tried to talk through the misunderstandings with Clare and come to an agreement. At the end of the day, they are keeping the $399 because I didn't meet my goal of gaining weight... Poor communication, unprofessional, and the worst nutritional advice I've ever received. To be clear, I didn't cancel my membership. I'm continuing at the $59/rate because I like the trainers (and they're keeping my $399 either way) I have mostly worked out with Jason and Lexi and they are awesome!

The program has certainly gone down hill since then. -The coaches provided no guidance or instruction. - The coaches had no real training program for the kids, they would just cycle through a couple of strokes without any other practice. - Despite repeated email and in person requests our kid never got the swim cap nor t-shirt that was supposed to come with the program.

With the exception of it getting a little bit too busy lately we think this place does a really good job at providing a nice place to work out for families. Today, me and my kids wanted to play basketball in the gym. Many of the hoops were much lower than 10 feet. Not a big deal. we went and talked to a couple of the girls behind the desk to ask them to raise the hoops so that we could play basketball at regulation height. One of the girls stood up to talk to me and said, "no, I think all of the hoops are at the right height. " I responded and said, "no, many of them are around seven or 8 feet. They should be at 10 feet. "She looked at me like I was speaking a different language and said no I believe we can't adjust the height of the hoops. I realize that maybe I was speaking to someone who had only worked there for a little while and maybe didn't know the rules or the procedures around raising and lowering the hoops. So I said, "I believe we can raise the hoops and you can use that tool (pointing at the tool by her) to raise them. If you get a chance, please help us raise one of these hoops to 10 feet. " I thought that I was really nice and respectful. What happened is nobody ever came out to help us raise the hoops to 10 feet they just sort of ignored our request. Not the end of the world, we still love this place. But I hope in the future, the staff is trained and able to assist in these types of things.

My experiences with other gyms, including Planet Fitness and VASA, were straightforward and seamless. Both had clear and convenient processes for enrolling through Fitness Pass. Unfortunately, my experience with the Orem EoS Fitness location was different. When I called to ask how to sign up using Fitness Pass, I was transferred to a membership representative who informed me that I would need to pay an additional $10 per month on top of what I already pay through Fitness Pass. When I asked for clarification, I was told this was essentially because the gym needed to make more than what Fitness Pass provides. This explanation did not seem appropriate or consistent with how the program is intended to work. To verify, I contacted Fitness Pass directly. They confirmed that I should not be charged any additional fee for a basic membership and even offered to join a three-way call with the gym to clarify the situation. However, when I called the gym back just minutes later, I was told that membership staff were suddenly unavailable for at least 30 minutes, despite having just spoken with them. I then contacted another EoS Fitness location in Springville and explained the exact same situation. Their staff immediately clarified that the Fitness Pass fully covers the basic membership and that no additional fee is required. I visited that location in person, received a tour, and completed my enrollment in about 20 minutes, without any extra charges. They also explained that the $10 fee mentioned by the other location applies only to a premium membership and is entirely optional. Due to the conflicting information and lack of transparency from this location, I will be going to the Springville location instead, even though it is farther away. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend confirming all membership details carefully before signing up here.
