I went to F45 for roughly a year. Great gym and great workouts. Every day is a different workout…read moreand they can be tough. I'm an older guy and I lost a lot of weight and got in really good shape. Thanks to Kelsey and a couple of the trainers there and their nutrition knowledge. They have a cool machine that not only weighs your but helps you find your body measurements and fat percentages etc. Great place - enjoyed my time there. I torn Achilles and that ended by HIIT training for a while.

I had high hopes but I'm incredibly disappointed. (Text conversation attached)…read more I signed up for the 6 week program ($399) based on the understanding that my money would be put towards paying the monthly fee at the end of the challenge, if I chose to continue with a membership. (We agreed on a discounted rate of $59 that would start after the challenge.) Turns out their employee explained it wrong and the upfront deposit does not go towards the monthly payment and they refuse to honor it. I'm 6' 2" and 190 lbs. My wife is about 130 pounds and 5 foot 4". Her goal was to LOSE weight and LOSE bodyfat. My goal was to gain weight. We were given the *exact* same nutritional meal plan with the exact same amounts to eat. So apparently it's few enough calories to help her lose weight but enough to make me gain weight?? Half way through the challenge, when I was losing weight instead of gaining, the advice was to "eat more". I really wanted this to be a great gym. I tried to talk through the misunderstandings with Clare and come to an agreement. At the end of the day, they are keeping the $399 because I didn't meet my goal of gaining weight... Poor communication, unprofessional, and the worst nutritional advice I've ever received. To be clear, I didn't cancel my membership. I'm continuing at the $59/rate because I like the trainers (and they're keeping my $399 either way) I have mostly worked out with Jason and Lexi and they are awesome!

This review is specific to the Orem Rec/SCERA Summer Swim Team…read more I was disappointed with the program. I did it when I was a kid and had a great experience. The program has certainly gone down hill since then. -The coaches provided no guidance or instruction. - The coaches had no real training program for the kids, they would just cycle through a couple of strokes without any other practice. - Despite repeated email and in person requests our kid never got the swim cap nor t-shirt that was supposed to come with the program.

We were a little bit, disappointed by our experience at Orem family fitness center today. We've…read morebeen members for over a year and we love this place. With the exception of it getting a little bit too busy lately we think this place does a really good job at providing a nice place to work out for families. Today, me and my kids wanted to play basketball in the gym. Many of the hoops were much lower than 10 feet. Not a big deal. we went and talked to a couple of the girls behind the desk to ask them to raise the hoops so that we could play basketball at regulation height. One of the girls stood up to talk to me and said, "no, I think all of the hoops are at the right height. " I responded and said, "no, many of them are around seven or 8 feet. They should be at 10 feet. "She looked at me like I was speaking a different language and said no I believe we can't adjust the height of the hoops. I realize that maybe I was speaking to someone who had only worked there for a little while and maybe didn't know the rules or the procedures around raising and lowering the hoops. So I said, "I believe we can raise the hoops and you can use that tool (pointing at the tool by her) to raise them. If you get a chance, please help us raise one of these hoops to 10 feet. " I thought that I was really nice and respectful. What happened is nobody ever came out to help us raise the hoops to 10 feet they just sort of ignored our request. Not the end of the world, we still love this place. But I hope in the future, the staff is trained and able to assist in these types of things.
