Scheduling was easy and they even offered to give me a ride which was not needed, but truly appreciated. Sadly, the quality of work just isn't there. The window tint on 2 of my windows is peeling on the edge and squeaking and there are hundreds of small bubbles/debris in the tint from what I am assuming is poor quality microfiber towels used to clean the windows. The tint was also not cut properly in several areas leaving an unsightly gap at the top of each side window. I went back to inquire on having them redo the windows and received a great deal of pushback and excuses about the debris. In the end they agreed to redo 2 of the windows, but given the results I later decided that I wouldn't really be happy and am going elsewhere to have my tint redone. If you aren't picky and just looking for a good price this place might be for you, but if you have a nice car or are an enthusiast who appreciates high quality of work it is probably best to look elsewhere. Hopefully the owner(s) take this review as an opportunity to perfect their craft and work toward better results for their customers. I always hesitate to leave less than favorable reviews for any business, but I have to be honest when I say my experience just wasn't great.

Most of the folks working there have been there 20-30 years, which says a lot about the enjoyability of working there, as well as the level of experience you get when you you bring your car to them. Josh and co got the back right panel of my car looking good as new and their skilled painter matched the white paint of the new panel to that of my car, which is really hard to do if you don't know what you're doing. Josh sent me frequent text updates, so I always knew the status of the repair being done and never once felt left in the dark. The repair took a week to the day, and pickup was really smooth and quick. Fingers crossed I'll never have to bring my car back, but if I do, I know my car will be in the hands of experts at Fix Auto.

Living in Portland, we've got dozens of stereo installation options. After asking around, I made the trip south on a word-of-mouth recommendation. Sure, Soundsational does a lot of highly custom stuff, but they won't go all crazy if you'd rather they not. Looking for a clean sounding system and a stock look? no problem. Want some proof? Ask for a tour of their shop. They've got some highly custom stereos going into some completely remodeled vehicle interiors, and they've also got quite a few very modest installs like mine. A peek into the back of the shop will show you their custom box-making area, complete with some really nice fiberglass work. As for quality of work; it's where they get my first 5 star review. After a recent installation, I had to fix some wiring in my dash. Upon a brief inspection, I found all of their work to be wrapped and neatly run to the different components. From the work they've done, it's clear they care about the job they're doing. After the sale? I really don't think for them there is one. I made a quick call with a question on some wiring they ran for me, and they were more than willing to talk me through what they'd done, as well as an explanation of how and why. For the sake of improvement, I believe it's important to be critical of *something* with every review I write, but I can't for the life of me come up with anything I'd change with these guys. He clearly changed the name , Hmmm So I contacted this company's owner Jared Yali , because his website said he was a certified Ceramic Pro installer. I retired from Ceramic Pro 6 years ago. I was one of their first installers and was also a rep for The East Bay area in the San Francisco Bay area. I know the standards of what it takes to truly become a certied ceramic pro installer. Which include correction of surfaces to be coated ( he never cleaned my rear glass ) and it has hard water spots under the Ceramic Pro Kavaca tint. When I picked up my car , the tint looked great from the outside and being late in the day I drove on back to Florence to my retirement home. Then the next morning drove out to Bend for a long time friends wedding. As I drove I started noticing bloctches on that back window and started to wonder if he had installed the tint wrong ! I drove home yesterday from bend and it's clear that he didn't clean the rear window at all before applying the tint ! Also When I originally called him about Ceramic Pro Kavaca tint , he said he was certified in applying it . I asked about what percentages he had available ( knowing that 35% was the max legal tint in Oregon for passenger cars ... My Tesla model 3 ) but he said he puts 5% on cars all the time. When I showed up at the appointment , he said what tint did I want , I said I want to what's legal and he said you can do what ever you want and you won't get pulled over but I need you to sign a waiver for him installing the illegal tint ! I did sign the waiver, but then almost immediately decided I wanted the 35% tint to stay legal. He kept my waver but installed 35%. I hope you realize that by him knowing that any tint on a sedan darker than 35% is illegal and the reason he has a " Waiver" he clearly unknowingly. Implicates him self and his company in Illegal practices, so each person he's tinted illegal tint on, he's an accomplice to the illegal tint application ! He will be forever associated with doing illegal business practices ! I ended up at getting the 35% tint and got it on all windows except nothing on the windshield the bill came to $660 and I gave him a $40 tip as it looked great on the outside and rounded it to $700. While at his shop he said he'd email me my receipt . The receipt came in his text as $595 yet my bank shows the $700 from my card. Seems like not only does this individual do shoddy work he practices illegal business practices with his Illegal tint,and He's splitting his customers payments to avoid I assume higher taxes ! Yesterday before We left our hotel in Bend to come home from our friends wedding, I texted him a request that he fix the poor job on the rear glass. So his reply came several hours later stating that my Tesla was really dirty and He couldn't get my windows clean . Remember his shop is a detail shop , ( who takes a clean car to have anything detailed on it ) Unbelievable ! He also blocked my number so I couldn't reply back to his very unprofessional reply refusing to fix his shoddy work ! So moral of the story is to RUN from this terrible excuse of a "detailer" ! Eugene Windshield Repair was able to get me in the next day, and the repair itself only took about 25 minutes. All the employees I interacted with were very kind and professional. They explained that they could go through my insurance if I wanted (since it was just a chip, I opted to pay out of pocket, a very reasonable $75), and all about the lifetime warranty. They also sent me out the door with a care package that included some clear stickers in case I ever get another chip so I can keep the dirt out, plus a coupon for a free coffee at The Human Bean!
