    Large hot and sour soup
    Vincent V.

Visitor from California and was craving hot and sour soup as comfort for a rainy work week. After several searches, decided to try this place. Awesome soup. Friendly staff. Will definitely swing by again to try some other food before I head back home.

It's a decent spot. You won't find anything fancy about it. On a plus note extremely clean. That's of major importance. Hampton isn't known for its Asian cuisine. That's a shame, and my hope is it will one day. Until then this works. Is it expensive? No although the portion sizes could be increased. The food itself is fairly tasty. My recommendation is General Tso or chicken with broccoli. The spring rolls are decent, but aren't in the spectacular category. Extremely friendly employees, and my thanks to them.

We had our food delivered. It was cold but that was on the driver, not the restaurant. The Lo Mein dinner and crab Rangoon were good. Nice portion sizes. The chicken wings had flavor and nice and crispy. I do not recommend the egg rolls at all. The pork inside was gray and they smelled funny. The brown sauce also had a sweet strange flavor. Would not order those two again, otherwise the food was good!

Half of the onions in the Mongolian Beef...

I go to this restaurant as frequently as my wife can stand (she likes Asian food... just not as much as I do ). They provide a great service with the online ordering. Since my first visit in August 2022, I've ordered from this restaurant three more times. I've ordered anywhere from four to as many as seven items. In my opinion, the portion sizes are good. My wife & I (and sometimes two of my adult children) can eat from the food for at least two, maybe three meals. I also feel the prices are reasonable. Up to this point, I have had high praises for everything I've eaten from this restaurant. During my last visit on March 17, 2023, one of the dishes I ordered was the Mongolian Beef. The Mongolian Beef was VERY disappointing! I'm not sure if it was a mistake, or perhaps the abundance of onions are there to compensate for the amount of meat in the dish. While there is meat in the dish, this is too many onions! I've attached a picture of the amount of onions I found in "half"( of the dish. I love onions - - just not this much in one dish. I've had Mongolian Beef, Chicken , and Pork before, and never have there been this many onions in Mongolian meat dishes. I would like to add, there was a strong flavor of black pepper in the sauce. Please receive this post as constructive criticism. I will continue to visit this restaurant and try new dishes each time I visit.

I did not enjoy my food. I really wanted to like this place. I ordered the bourbon chicken and pork fried rice. The chicken pieces were very small and hard and the sauce was very thick and kind of orange looking. It was lukewarm and bland and the rice was room temp and hard. Yikes! It didn't resemble bourbon chicken at all. I actually brought it back up and asked if it was bourbon chicken, thinking maybe they misheard me and gave me something else. But the lady confirmed that yes it was bourbon chicken. It was inedible. My husband ordered the lo mein and the lady said "pad tai?" He said no, lo mein. Again she said "pad tai?" So he said sure I'll have the pad Tai. Maybe the lo mein wasn't that good and they make a great pad tai???? Idk. But he loved his pad tai, there was a lot of peanuts on it. He really enjoyed it. That's why the 3 stars. My friend got some kind of dumplings she didn't like hers. The staff was friendly and the food was not fresh or authentic, except for my husbands pad tai of course.

This placed satisfied my chinese take out cravings. I got the sweet and sour pork and it was very filling. I finished it all before I took pictures! The interior is clean and has a few sit down tables. The staff was very nice and I'd love to come back for more and try other menu items! Overall, 5 stars

For this lunch, I got string beans, fried okra, fried broccoli, curried vegetable and seasoned rice and lemonade! While the green beans were just okay, their fried broccoli and okra were very delicious. Especially with their honey mustard dipping sauce! Really enjoyed their homemade lemonade that wasn't too sweet or too tart. A very nice compliment to this vegetarian lunch combination! Service was great and not hurried l. The decor satisfies its name KENTE too. The star of the entire lunch was the curried vegetable and seasoned rice!

3/14/26 Saved up for…read morea little self care and went to this little local place around the corner from me, to break my fast with. I do wish they had a little better menu selection, for being advertised and recommended to me as African, this was the only dish that was close to. i was hoping for some Doro Wat, or Moambe Chicken, Injera, Braai, Pap en Vleis, Bobotie , Chapati/Mandazi, Nyama Choma, or even some Kitfo. they had none of these things, so I ended up wanting the Ox-Tail Pasta, aka Rasta Pasta. Its only available on certain days. so I actually had to come back for this, and I did. It Was tasty 4 large pieces and 3 tail end tip pieces. It was Large enough that I can probably get 3 meals from this at my portions. Price was little more than wanted but would come back again, just not regularly. I rank my decisions to eat somewhere again as: 1 star - if someone else buys it I won't eat it, I would rather go hungry. 2 star - if I'm hungry, no other options are open and someone buys it - I would consider eating it 3 star - I'm ok with eating it as long as someone else pays 4 star - I will eat again and pay for it and be a semi-regular customer 5 star - I will travel for good food and pay good money and be back on a regular basis and maybe even pay for yours just so we can go

Another Yelp Reviewer's suggestion for the win!…read more I happened to be in the area today, and after my first stops, I needed something to eat. Again, thanks to other Yelpers, I found this place. I'm so glad we found it. This place does have a small private parking lot, which is a good thing for the area. The interior was nice, large, and seemed very clean. Plenty of seats inside and a few tables outside. The fella who served us was very nice, pleasant, and took care of us. Now let's get to our meals: Holy mud were they good. The wifey had The Jim Boy. Which is a couple of eggs, a couple of sides, potatoes, and toast. She tells me the whole meal was very good with the potatoes being the flavorful standout. As for me, I had The Lumberjack. Wow was it good. It was smashbrowns topped with 3 eggs your way, fried chicken breast, sausage gravy, and a buttermilk biscuit on the side. Their website pictures were different from how it was presented to me today (not that it means a thing). Again what a wonderful flavor. The biscuits were great and the sausage gravy was fantastic! I will say this it is a very filling meal - you will not be hungry after eating this. So with all this said, I highly recommend this place and I'm sure I will be back. I might even try to hit it for lunch next time. So if you're looking for a place - go ahead and enjoy this place.

They also were out of garlic knots. I had the cobbler salad with chicken, and it was pretty good but it was also about $20. The chicken wasn't warmed which was okay, but I know some folks expect that as a salad add-on. My husband ordered a pizza and it's apparent that pizza is really what to order! Pizza was excellent - and I'll be getting one if we go back.

When you walk in there is a large about of seating options. The booths have been comfortable. There is also a nice outdoor patio area. It can be a little noisy, but that depends on the amount of people inside. Since opening this location that have been a huge advocate/support for the local community including the schools. The staff have been AMAZING, including the owner. I have never had a bad run in. The food has always been great. Now, here me out a sample platter or a flight for Chicken Salad. It comes with 3-6 flavors of your choosing, crackers or a croissant, and a side. I can never pick a flavor and sometimes I want to have many. Do not get me started on that white chocolate cake. It is so delicious! So good. Going back to the chicken salad, they have many flavors and they all have great flavor even the original. Their catering service is great. It is easy to place your order online and arrange for a pick up or delivery. I think they offer delivery for the catering, but I am not too sure as I picked it up. But the food was great. There was a small minor problem with the order but, they handled it very well and made sure I was taking care of.
