Charles came over, we told him what we needed, and he immediately picked out a tux jacket, pants, and dress shirt. My son stepped in to a fitting room to try everything on. The shirt and jacket fit perfectly and the pants needed a little bit of alteration. He also brought over a beautiful bowtie to match my son's date's dress. All dressed up, my son looked SO FINE. Charles really knows what he is doing! I couldn't believe he took one look at my boy, assessed him, and picked out the clothes in the right size at first glance! We opted to purchase the tux, shirt, tie, and belt. There is plenty of fabric to account for additional growth of my boy. Alterations were completed swiftly (much faster than I expected), and we could not be happier. We were also very impressed with the pricing. Everything was reasonable and high quality. This experience is one for the books. We received such excellent customer service and Good Luck had a huge selection. I was afraid I'd be overwhelmed when I walked in, but Charles took over and professionally guided us to the right decisions. Mike sized me up and was immediately on the phone to order my suit from his supplier, with expedited shipping at no extra charge. The price was a bit more than I'd pay at Men's Warehouse, but not a whole lot more, and the garments are of noticeably higher quality, and each suit comes with lifetime free alterations. He called me the minute it came in, and I went down to try it on. It fit great, and looked great, but I immediately noticed it was a charcoal grey, rather than the lighter grey I wanted, and which I heard Mike order on the phone. In short, I knew it was the supplier's mistake, not the Shop's. But Mike didn't pass the buck, didn't explain it away. He took accountability for his supplier's mistake, and had the charcoal suit altered for me to use in my interview, and ordered the correct grey one for me when I get back. I was expecting to give back the charcoal one, but when I returned to try on the altered suit, he insisted I keep both for the trouble. I was blown away. Mike's words were "I do business the right way, the way it used to be done". Indeed. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Small batch denim which is made as well or better than any denim I've ever owned. If you're a "denim head" you'll appreciate the detail that goes into their products. From quality, Japanese denim, to lined back pockets, to leather pads in the rivets for ease of removing the rivets without damaging the denim if a repair is ever needed. BTW, FREE LIFETIME REPAIR on all their denim products! They'll gladly hem the jeans to change the inseam if you prefer something more custom for you. I drove over 90 minutes to visit the store and it was time well spent. (Glad my SO found the correct address and hours before I made the trip.) If you're into selvedge denim, I'd recommend giving Shockoe a try. With their repair policy, it just might be the last pair of jeans you purchase for many, many years--unless you're like me and can't resist buying "just one more pair."
