Honestly this was one of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant, even a new one. I came here tonight with a friend and there were maybe two tables of people eating and two couples in front of us. Not busy. We ordered 6 tacos and proceeded to wait 30 minutes for 2 of our 6 tacos. 2 of them were Birria tacos and they gave us 6, said it was an accident but we could keep them and we needed to wait for our 4 other tacos. I was cutting them slack because they're new and it was maybe 3 teens and 1 adult working. They were average at best, not a ton of flavor. We waited 20 minutes for the four other tacos. They were cold, one had cold BBQ sauce on it, there wasn't much filling, and the corn tortillas had clearly just been pulled cold out of the bag and not heated or cooked at all. The Philly taco was mainly giant chunks of onion and pepper. During this time, other people had continued to come in and order. The restaurant was full and in the 55 minutes we were there, they served two other groups. Two. Everyone was clearly agitated. We walked over to Menchies and on the way back to our car heard people come out that had come in after us saying how upset they were, there were people that clearly canceled their orders, and we could see through the window that almost no one was still served. I'm all for cutting a new business slack, but in this economy, when people might not have much money, I hate to see people waste what might be a treat for them on a business like this. read more
