I called them to report this, they said bring it in for a diagnostic steam clean and dye to the oil for I think $130 or so. I feel they should have look at it for free seeing as though I told them there was no leak before they did the oil change. Took the car into another auto repair to have them look at it. the problem was the wrong oil pan plug and washer was installed resulting in the leak. I would like a refund of the cost to have it diagnosed and repaired with the proper plug and washer was $160.43. I won't charge you for my time.

I came in because my car was squealing when I started it, but it did not do it on the day of the appointment. Rather than blowing me off or charging me for something I may not need, they opted to make sure my car was safe to drive and inspected the engine. They noticed that I had some oil build up, so they taught me how to check my oil and educated me on how to take care of that in both the short and long term. They made sure my serpentine belt was safe to drive and answered all of my questions, despite not charging me. No one works on commission here, and they really seem to do right by the customer. I will for sure be back with any of my auto mechanic needs!

Initially I didn't question anything, but as I discussed why so many things needed replacement or repair, one of the things he said needed replacement was my motor mounts. Still not questioning things, I just expressed exasperation because they had just been replaced 14 months earlier. Suddenly, I could tell he felt uncomfortable and he started really over explaining and telling me he'd show me how "stripped they were." It was this reaction that just tipped me off that something was wrong. I ended up taking the car into two other places just to ask for second opinions on all the recommended work. They were laughing at how ridiculous the proposed work was from Kapp's. One place showed me how it would have been impossible for him to have assessed the need for new motor mounts without removing some covers that isn't a quick thing. Sad. Total dishonesty. I ended up getting the leak fixed for about $800.

But them suddenly one morning (just a few hours before kids' long awaited doctor's s appointment of course!) my Honda van won't start...it seemed like my battery was down. I called couple of mechanic shops but none of them could squeeze me in for same day check up. But when I called the State Automotive and explained them my situation, Dustin told me that they will do an inspection on my battery ASA I reach them and will change it if needed. Long story short...after going there I found out that the previous mechanic who changed the battery and gave me a "Napa" battery (found the info in the receipt), & then charged me for it and the service in 2017 actually DID NOT replace my original Honda battery from 2013 :/ When I asked, Dustin was super nice and took pictures of the old battery and wrote a description for me so I can show that to the old mechanic and texted me those later that day. I really appreciate the help and (quick) service they provided me that day, and thanks to them I was able to make to the doctor's appointment on time :) Thank you so much for all great service! Will definitely recommend them to my friends and family, and I'll be going back myself as well. #ServiceStarShoutOut

It's not. I'm not driving down a third time for one muffler. I have now contacted another mechanic to do the rework that Kent's muffler was supposed to do and forgot.
