My husband and I stop here every weekend when we are headed back to the city from Lake Eufaula. I can honestly say this is the best bar b q I've ever had. My husband gets "the Italian" every time and says it's the best sandwich ever. The owner is great and loves his customers and is constantly looking for ways to improve or expand. Awesome! Steve and his crew were wonderful and the food is fabulous. Being from Memphis, pork is the only BBQ. While the brisket and hot links were delicious, the ribs beat them hands down. The ribs were smoky, perfectly spiced and fall off the bone tender. I would recommend this place to anyone who gets within 20 miles to come eat here. And they have Black Cherry kool-aid. This was a random opportunity that we decided to try while we were traveling to Sedona Arizona and stopped in Oklahoma. OMG...since I vegetarian I had no options . I asked the girl taking orders it was a sit down and order from the counter. I had leftover pizza from lunch day before in NC. They not only agreed to warm up my pizza, but to make me veggie burrito. How awesome but I had their sides and with my pizza I was too full for burrito. Rich had Brine BBQ Chicken and Ryan BBQ Brisket, both had never had BBQ this good. I thought their food was great! We were traveling through on a road trip and I picked this place because of the good yelp reviews. BBQ isn't my favorite food, but I thought this was really good. I love that they have mashed potatoes, which were amazing if tasty. The pulled pork portion was ample and delicious with or without sauce. It's a small place but there are still a decent number of tables. The bathrooms were clean and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely eat here again if I ever am in the area. read more

This is a hidden Jewell in the little town of Henryetta. It is worth stopping for or making it your destination. The barbeque is the best I have ever had. On a family trip we stopped by this place for lunch. It was awesome in every way. We sampled multiple selection of meat and sides and we're amazed at the flavor and texture. Don't miss the pudding. The Chocolate peanut butter was ridiculous. After finishing I talked with the owner thanking him for the great meal and service. Come to find out both knew Troy Aikman. This guy graduated with him from High school there in town. He was humble and thankful for our conversation about his restaurant. I now know two Hall of Famers from Henryetta, Ok. This bbq restaurant is absolutely the best I've ever been to. Rustler's is hands down better than any other I tried. I'm from Brooklyn New York originally, so great authentic bbq is impossible to find up in my hometown nyc. Nothing compares to Rustler's. This joint has the most authentic delicious bbq. I got the brisket and turkey and it came with Texas toast, and two sides I got which was fried okra and potato salad. The potato salad was the best potato salad I ever had in my life. I can't even think about having any other, it was perfect flavor, fresh and went perfectly well with the meats. The fried okra was perfect as well, not overcooked and tasty beyond words. The meats were tender, juicy and flavorful with perfect smoke on em. I full out devoured my meal. Hands down one of the best meals I ever had, no joke! The food is not only phenomenal here, you can also tell it is made with great emphasis on making sure you are happy and satisfied with your food and you look forward and can't wait to come back for more. The owner Steve is a very nice guy and really cares about what he does and cares about all his customers. Lastly, you won't be let down with any thing you order here. We were headed to Lake Eufaula from Edmond and found this perfect little hole in the wall on Yelp We had the Big Jake and the Pulled Pork sandwiches with a side of potato salad and baked beans. Sooo much meat on the sandwiches and both sides were REALLY good too. We ordered the Big Jake thinking it was an assorted meat platter not a sandwich (totally our fault because it clearly is listed under "sandwiches") and it turned out to be our favorite The place is really clean and cute and even has some outdoor patio seating. Although you order from a window there was a gentleman, that might have been the cook/owner, who brought out the food and walked around making sure everyone was happy and had what they needed. I only wish I had read some of the reviews and looked at pictures before we ordered because I missed seeing the pickle bar and the pecan pie, ugg! We stayed in Henryetta, OK as we travelled from San Diego to Nashville. We stayed at a motel there and were looking for something to eat besides fast food. We had our pets with us so checked in first. Thanks goodness for Yelp. Rustlers came up and they were AMAZING!! Great prices and fantastic food. Their smoked bologna was tasty. I've never seen it before. And of course the ribs and chicken were the bomb!! They have these 5 meat plates with all the meats they have. We got 2 of those and it was plenty for 3 adults and 2 kids. We even had leftovers we ate for breakfast. Their sides are a great match too. They are in a kind of odd spot down a dirt road by a car dealership if I remember correctly. Try them!!
