My husband and I were looking for a Cracker Barrel for Breakfast as we headed East on I 40. Unfortunately the closest Cracker Barrel was approx 35 miles behind us. Shoney's came up a a suggested place for breakfast. We decided to try Shoney's snd e were pleasantly surprised. We each ordered thei AYCE breakfast buffet for $12.99'. The buffet has a variety of breakfast options including a salad bar and desserts. Food a tasty. Most items were warm and freshly cooked. While other options looked like they had been sitting for a while. The service was excellent and everyone was welcoming and friendly. The ambiance was very festive. Would definitely go back if traveling near Henrietta Ok. read more

We were traveling and wanted something more than fast food. Shoney's was perfect. The food was hot and the service was prompt. I won't lie, this isn't the place if you're looking for something fancy, and they aren't pretending to be. But it is a good hot meal when you just need good food. read more

8.5 stars! Came here on a whim as we travel 1-40 monthly to visit our family farm. Rustlers BBQ is our usual stop sundays but they changed to early hours and that doesn't work for us. So Shoney's was the "gamble" tonight as no one has reviewed on Yelp for 11 months!!! Boy did we win.... Solid A review coming for them! Went ahead and got good pics for anyone who was interested, even the weekly schedule of the buffet as it changes daily. You can see what Sunday was - old fashion style home cooking - all for 13.99 - my elderly dad got this and said the food was supreme Waitress staff was SUPER friendly and young, all of them work with most tables and are beyond friendly for refills etc. I wanted to try a menu item, which I got the whitefish crispy sandwich for 8.99 and it was also SUPER good! If you are looking for fast service and decent food, this place is good. Think Dennys but with a buffet. Salad dressings were horrible (dollar store generic) but the breakfast foods were good. I'd eat here again. Staff was super friendly as well read more

Simple food, but good, with plenty of options. I'd thought it was just buffet, which wasn't ideal for my 82yo mother who doesn't each much, but they have regular choices, too. Buffet wasn't the most lavish and nothing was outstanding, but everything was fresh and tasty. Fruit in the salad bar was excellent. Staff was attentive and helpful. Dined in with my 3 y/o and couldn't get the staff to acknowledge me and left after sitting in my booth for 10 min or so. This would almost be understandable if it wasn't a buffet and it took more than saying "hey! We have been twice in the past month. It's a bit of a drive for us, but where else can you get a buffet like it? Roast beef, fried fish, meatloaf, soup, salad, strawberry shortcake...! A new place for Henryetta it is across from the old Wal-Mart. The buffet is only 9.99 and offers some decent food. I enjoyed the food. As far as buffets go it was quite decent. We stop in to eat here any time we come through this way on I-40. The buffet selection isn't huge, but it is well worth the price. In this post covid time one buffet bar remains empty, but the other three were stocked. They have both breakfast and dinner options, along with a small salad bar and a few fruit choices. Tonight we arrived a little after nine and I was a little concerned that the choices wouldn't remain available (we all know some buffets stop replenishing far too early); but I have to say they kept all that was originally out well filled. Perfect for our dinner stop finishing up our road trip and heading to OKC. Buffet looked a tad over cooked but my 7yo loved her fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and Mac and cheese and I was pleasantly pleased as well when I nabbed a bite from her. The rest of us ordered off of the menu. Hubbie and I devoured our piping hot burgers that were perfectly cooked. Onion Rings were wonderful. My oldest had chicken fingers with fries and was overwhelmed by how HUGE the strips were. She ate probably two and could do no more. This morning I saw many things that turned me off about this place. 1. A guy was cleaning the dust off the air vents right above the food bar, flinging dust EVERYWHERE. 2. Waitresses with out masks serving food. 3. Hostess at the register sat on her personal phone, touching her face, finger in her mouth, didn't wash her hands then went to seating people & touching menus & answered phones. The food and service were excellent. But the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. On Saturday evening of Memorial Day weekend we had a flat tire while we were there. We're from out of state, but the manager and wait staff made various phone calls on our behalf, and helped us find a place to get a new tire on Sunday morning. Just had a very bad meal here. Everything warm was dried out, over cooked , old and bad tasting. A lot of employees standing around, dirty tables and food on floors.
