Everything about this place I loved! The employees were all friendly, helpful, and polite. The food is delicious! I had the Avocado BLT Club, and everything was super fresh and tasty! It was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. My Mocha was superb! The atmosphere is a very relaxed mood with outdoor seating as well as indoor. Speaking of indoor seating, I loved the corner seating next to the bookcases where there's actually books for perusing while you're enjoying your favorite coffee or latte. Thank you Rustic Roost! If I lived in Conway I'd make this one of my favorite places to visit! Check them out! read more

At the right time of day and year, I trust the place is great. Wasn't serving hot coffee and were willing to make only decaf. Didn't have some lunch offerings at midday. Food we could order didn't have the designated side available and no discount given or substitute offered. Felt awkward. The decor and food we could get excellent. Chalk the whole experience up to we were from a different part of the country where hot, caffeinated coffee is available all day and patrons are compensated for missing items. A summer menu would have cleared up the disconnect. read more

I had stopped by later in the day, in 2024 and had the most amazing espresso experience ever. Fast forward to today, I still visit regularly, and the handcrafted dirty chai latte with an extra shot of espresso took me back to that day in 2024, the experience of near perfection of the drink. Shout out the barista who answered all my questions, and left me with this memory. read more

Nice quiet coffee shop with terrific ambiance as well as Italian Sodas and Macha. Small menu where almost everything is around 6 bucks each. My Sister had avocado toast with cherry tomatoes. One of my favorite things about traveling is getting a chance to try new local coffee shops. Rustic roast caught my eye while I was in the Myrtle Beach area and I was really glad I stopped in. It has such a warm and welcoming vibe, almost like a neighborhood bookstore. The the staff was very helpful and patient while I looked over all the menu options. My cousin had asked me to see if they could make some thing close to a mocha Frappuccino, which they had no problem doing I opted for a brown sugar latte. Both of them were very good. I took them to go, but took my time looking around the adorable interior of this coffee shop. they also have a drive-through that appeared to be very efficient while I was inside. In town from FL to visit the university, love to eat local. Dulce de leche latte with almond milk was delicious, lots of dense foam on top! Daughter tried mocha iced, yummy, and drinks were ready QUICKLY. I also tried the bacon egg and cheese toast. Medium egg was perfect, bacon crisp and toast held it all together well. DELICIOUS coffee flavors!! I've seen the little drive-thru for a while but never tried it until today when I stopped by this morning on my way to work and was immediately blown away by their seasonal options. Looking for a nice relaxing coffee shop where you can chill on a cozy chair or couch in a warm, homey environment all day? Well, here it is! I'm so excited about this coffee shop! It's a refreshing change from the typical metal chair, metal table coffee places in Conway/Myrtle Beach. My iced latte was made perfectly, not too sugary/milky like the big name places tend to be, and the coffee flavor itself was really great! Sorry I don't know all the fancy descriptive terms to describe the taste. Lol all I know is it's the best coffee I've had in a while! They serve some simple food items right now, and will be serving pastries soon. We really enjoyed the chocolate toast, and the bacon egg and cheese toast! Rustic Roast is a hidden gem! The coffee lattes are DELICIOUS as are the breakfast croissants! Staff was super friendly and welcoming as well. We enjoyed our meal on the patio and highly enjoyed it. They have a small bar and a few lounge areas set up indoors too and I think I saw a drive thru! We visited again soon after for take-out and all was too-notch there too! Ambiance is lovely, stays true to the rustic theme. My favourite touch is the vintage coffee cans and equipment you can find on the shelves. Slowly working my way toward the menu, the paninis are delicious, and the strawberry and cream toast is not too sweet, but just right. Amazing coffee but if that's not your thing they have an amazing sparkling blueberry lemonade. Service is always kind and prompt, and super helpful, even for as busy as it can get. read more

I truly hope whoever oversees the kitchen takes these comments in the constructive spirit they're intended. The restaurant has a great concept and quality ingredients, but paying closer attention to execution and consistency would make a significant difference. I'd be happy to give Famous Toastery another try if these issues are addressed.

Lindsey and Nickels were a great team behind the bar, providing excellent service! I had a Bloody Mary and when I said I wish it was a little spicy, Nickels quickly produced a jalepeno. The wife had a Mimosa flight. She really enjoyed it, as it gave her a nice variety. I did the Shakshuka and it was a little unusual as it was served on grits. I really enjoyed it. Wife's omlette was good.
