From the beginning, Khadija made the experience so fun and painless with weekly check-ins, a very thorough spreadsheet, and one-on-one correspondence with our vendors. She really took the time to understand our priorities, the feel of the wedding, and reassured us that we were even ahead of schedule. Once we reached the weekend wedding, I was completely overwhelmed with all of the people around and activities ahead, but knew I was in such good hands with Khadija and her team! They met us for a rehearsal the day before the wedding and were so patient and detail-oriented with the entire rehearsal process. The day of the wedding, I knew I just needed to show up and follow directions and that everything would go smoothly. And it did! The day was so amazing, beyond what I could have imagined, all because Limelight was there to work directly with the vendors, set up décor, and keep us on schedule. We both work pretty demanding schedules and engaged Khadija for full coordination. They helped us with every detail from start to finish. They have strong relationships with all the vendors in the area and were super helpful in finding people that were the right fit for us and keeping everyone on the same page. They were kind and flexible, and we developed a really lovely relationship over the year we spent working with them. Khadija is detail oriented and ensures the minutiae of things (including family customs and traditions, timing, etc.) were captured, shared with appropriate vendors, and executed on. She also gave us weekly to do lists and deliverables which made the daunting process of planning a much more manageable task that we could track week by week. She was excellent at looping in our parents and helping with their questions and concerns. Our wedding weekend itself was a dream. Khadija, Medha, and James worked tirelessly to ensure our guests were well taken care of. I was able to enjoy the time with family and friends and just be present in the moment. Logistical questions that arose with vendor team were dealt with immediately by her team. They also made sure our family were comfortable and taken care of throughout the event. Many of my vendors remarked on how relaxed I seemed to be over the weekend, and I credit that entirely to the team at Limelight, who took care of everything for us. We can't recommend the Limelight team enough. They're trustworthy, organized, thorough, and genuinely invested in wedding planning, and they helped us have an event that was fun, loving, and captured our spirit as a couple.

Lorie,LaShawna and ALL the others were sooooo wonderful to deal with. Everything was as we talked about and exceeded our expectations!! Jessica & LaShawna are freaking stars! The planning process was seamless. I was so impressed with the attention to detail at the wedding venue walkthrough. We walked the entire venue, bounced ideas off each other for placement of every single item, and built a schematic. They even measured the venue to know exact placement of tables, chairs, etc. Planning the wedding was so easy/smooth thanks to the planning tools and check ins. Our rehearsal was straight to the point and very easy. We didn't need the full two hours allotted by our venue because they were on top of everything! Then came the wedding day. Our bridal salon overlooked the venue, so we were able to see the progress throughout the day. THEY WORK HARD!! and I mean, they pay attention to every single little detail to make sure the place looks beautiful and perfect. It was so impressive, we all couldn't stop talking about it. The wedding day went seamless, on time, and without a single issue. Jessica and LaShawna were there every step of the way, speaking to each other through their own personal headpieces. If anything came up or if I had any questions, they were there and ready to help where needed. My wedding wouldn't have gone as well as it did without them, I promise. I feel so grateful to have had the best team out there!! We also decided to hire the CLE House cleanup crew which was fantastic as well! I'm a pretty hands-on, detail oriented person, but I feel I would have spiraled without Sarah. She's grounded and super helpful. I really appreciated our video calls and in-person venue walkthroughs. She took detailed notes about all our preferences and made sure the day-of was perfect. With her at the helm, I got to be a jellyfish and just float along and enjoy my wedding! I know people say you can't have a perfect wedding day, but I really felt like I did. I know that would not have been possible without Sarah and the A Touch of Grace team. We had 3 different venues, and setup/teardown needed at each. Sarah made sure to pickup everything we prepared a couple days ahead of the wedding, and dropped off everything after so we didn't have to worry. Logistically it was quite difficult, but I don't think I thought about any of that the day of. Sarah and her team also styled the detail items I prepared so beautifully too. Enter Sarah, who recognized and affirmed our goals, budget, design thoughts, and most importantly, kept us on track when she realized she was going to be doing the heavy lifting cause we had no idea what we were doing. I love her and would recommend her (and have) to anyone looking to plan a wedding in the Bay Area. We said florals and photographers weren't the highest priority and low budget but somehow she came through w/ amazing flors for 2k and a 10hr photographer for 3k. We had a DJ, 2 sites (city hall and a country club), and constant communication, and threw a hell of a wedding for 50k in the Bay Area!!! Sarah can work with you however you want. If you want to be super involved she'll meet with you and work with you to find ideas and things to execute. If you want her to drive the planning, she'll have entire timelines and vendors made and lined up and you barely have to lift a finger. If I had to plan a wedding again I would choose her in a heartbeat. Additionally, we are both Chinese and wanted some Asian aspects (including a tea ceremony) in our wedding as well. Sarah handled that with no issue at all, and honestly could not be happier with her service. She does not charge enough for how much she's done for us.

We initially spoke with several other planners, but after our first call with Kimberly, we knew we wanted her to be the one helping us plan our event this past October in Sonoma. We insisted that Kimberly was our go-to with ASE. ASE has several levels of planning packages depending on what you are looking for. My Husband and I decided to go with the partial planning package and it was the perfect balance for us. We are from the Chicagoland area so having a planner in California where we were getting married was essential. Kimberly is also well-connected in wine country/the wedding industry and has relationships with many of the vendors who ASE has worked with over the years. This is a major perk, since she was able to point us in the direction of some of the best vendors out there! We always felt like we were in the right hands and were provided high quality recommendations by Kimberly. Throughout the past year of planning with Kimberly she was always kind and had such a positive attitude. Aside from being our wedding planner, Kimberly felt like a friend. Not only did we hear from several of our vendors how much they loved working with Kimberly and how organized she was, even several of our friends asked who she was because they noticed how on top of everything she was at the wedding. Everyone tells you how stressful wedding planning can be, especially since our entire planning process was virtual and during covid, but ours was carefree and fun! You also hear "something is going to go wrong the day of" but my husband and I can say that our day was flawless. If something did go wrong, it was nothing made known or visible to either us or any of our guests. When my Husband and I returned to our hotel room at the end of that night, Kimberly and her assistant had already returned all our signs and personal belongings to our room. They laid out my veil on the bed with our welcome sign so beautifully (see pic). Although this was a small gesture, we felt it was so thoughtful to walk back to at the end of what was already the perfect day! One final touch if you will! I have said to my husband on numerous occasions recently that I wish our wedding planning wasn't over and how I want to experience our day all over again and he agrees! My 14 month engagement turned into 26 months and I cannot imagine having gone through the challenges the pandemic and wild fires presented without Kelly. In addition to her gorgeous work, creativity, and connections in the industry, she is as genuine as can be and truly wants the best for her brides, grooms and their families. Not only does Kelly want to make your wedding planning experience as easy and fun as possible, but she also does an incredible job of getting to know you and making the wedding extremely personal. She got to know my husband and me in addition to our story and overall vision for our special day/weekend. Kelly goes above and beyond. For example, Kelly knew mine and my husband's love for Crumbl cookies and it became a shared love between all of us. She had the great idea to pick up Crumbl catering for our Rehearsal Dinner, which was also my husband's birthday, because she knew how special that would be for us. This is just the smallest example of Kelly's thoughtfulness throughout the whole process. Our wedding planning process presented extreme challenges between having to postpone a full year due to the pandemic and having to find a new venue/caterer/other vendors after our original venue burned down, but Kelly had my back every step of the way. She worked tirelessly to give us the best options while still taking our budget and preferences into consideration. The day would not have been possible without her and we are forever grateful for her dedication, her hard work, and her genuine love for what she does. Three months later, anytime we see our friends and family, they still talk about how perfect and absolutely stunning our wedding day and weekend was. I knew our day would be special but it was beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of. That would not have been possible without Carrie's hard work. She made it very easy for us by taking all the tough work of finding and coordinating the vendors, allowing us to focus on the big picture experience we wanted for ourselves and our guests. Everything from the catering, to the florals, the layout, the decorations, the guest experience, etc was exactly how we wanted it. She checked in with us every step of the way to make sure things were proceeding on track. When it came to the day of, it was very reassuring to have her and her team there making sure we knew exactly what was going on and what we needed to do. She also struck a nice balance between suggesting ideas, doing her best to translate our vision into practice, and giving us a reality check on various elements and costs when appropriate. Carrie has such a wealth of knowledge about the wedding industry which really came in handy and helped demystify things for us. Her extensive network and ability to leverage relationships with vendors (many of the same ones we had already talked to/contracted with) made us feel secure that our wedding was in good hands. Her coordination abilities on the day of were truly exemplary. She did a tremendous job of managing all the vendors, making us comfortable, and adjusting things with the timeline when necessary. We truly felt well-taken care of and it was such a relief to have someone there to make sure everything ran smoothly. One of Carrie's biggest strengths is that she works for you and will be your advocate, and we really felt that on our wedding day. One slight issue was that our meetings and calls did seem rushed sometimes. But that's understandable given the scope of our wedding and her very busy travel and event schedule.
