I can't fully explain how helpful she was when she did not have to spend the time or energy helping me at all. She is obviously a true professional and a really kind person. We never felt too strongly pushed towards one idea, and she has the right amount of structure and flexibility for planning and execution. I also liked that she's active on social media so she stays in the know of what's trending or new, and gives good suggestions from what she's seen at other weddings. Once our vendors were booked, her execution style was very methodical and organized. She stayed on top of things with a spreadsheet, and sent emails of what is to be expected from the couple vs the vendor vs her team. This was super helpful! On the day of the wedding, she kept things on schedule, and if there were any hiccups, she resolved them without us even knowing. I recommend her because she is knowledgeable about the industry and very experienced in handling events. We walked the entire venue, bounced ideas off each other for placement of every single item, and built a schematic. They even measured the venue to know exact placement of tables, chairs, etc. Planning the wedding was so easy/smooth thanks to the planning tools and check ins. Our rehearsal was straight to the point and very easy. We didn't need the full two hours allotted by our venue because they were on top of everything! Then came the wedding day. Our bridal salon overlooked the venue, so we were able to see the progress throughout the day. My Husband and I decided to go with the partial planning package and it was the perfect balance for us. We are from the Chicagoland area so having a planner in California where we were getting married was essential. Kimberly is also well-connected in wine country/the wedding industry and has relationships with many of the vendors who ASE has worked with over the years. This is a major perk, since she was able to point us in the direction of some of the best vendors out there! We always felt like we were in the right hands and were provided high quality recommendations by Kimberly. Throughout the past year of planning with Kimberly she was always kind and had such a positive attitude. Aside from being our wedding planner, Kimberly felt like a friend. If something did go wrong, it was nothing made known or visible to either us or any of our guests.
