    Kelly and her team did an amazing job coordinating my wedding. Shes wonderful to work with and is always coming up with ideas. She has a great taste and a wonderful sense of design. Every time I look back on my photos I can't believe how gorgeous she made my wedding look. Even my mom can't sing Kelly enough praises! Kelly handled all the coordination so that I would have nothing to worry about on the day off which was awesome! She even provided parasols for my guests because I underestimated how hot it would be on that day. My only concern that sometimes communication was spotty. I know that they were busy especially during wedding season and being an anxious person doesn't help. However I trusted Kelly and I knew she would have everything perfect on the day. Oh, another great thing is that her husband is an officiant. Just like Kelly, he was awesome. I am glad we had him do our ceremony. It was short and sweet just like how we wanted.

    It has taken me way too long to write this review, but as we approach our first anniversary and I was looking back at our wedding photos, I was reminded of the incredible design talent of Kelly at A Savvy Event. She pulled all the details together to create stunning spaces- from the ceremony, to the dinner, to dancing in the barn, she transformed Cornerstone Sonoma into something unique and perfect for our sentimental wedding. We told her we wanted casual elegance, and she nailed it, using linens and lounge furniture to keep everything classy yet comfortable. Her vision of splitting the large lawn with faux barn walls to keep the ceremony and dinner areas separate was brilliant and created such intimate spaces. Our wedding of 175 people truly felt like it was an intimate gathering of our closest family and friends, and the spaces were a huge part of that. Kelly and her team did an incredible job the day of making sure that my husband and I didn't have anything to worry about. We were told where to be and when, and other than that, we didn't have to stress about anything. That was huge! I would recommend any bride and groom use A Savvy Event to help create an amazing event that your family and friends will be talking about for years to come!

    A Savvy Event was the best decision we made to make our wedding day amazing. We worked with Lally to plan our destination wedding in wine country. With only 5 months to help us pull everything together, she made things so stress free and easy for us. She helped with everything from assisting us in choosing the prime location for our day (we booked site unseen), having excellent food recommendations, to coordinating me getting my gown safe from Indiana to Sonoma undamaged!!!! Her day of coordination was also excellent. As hectic as wedding days are 'supposed' to be, everything went unbelievably smooth. If there was something that went wrong, it never got to my husband or I. I cannot thank her and Savvy Event enough for being there for us.

We found Brooke by searching for wedding planners that had worked with our venue (Timber Cove Resort) before. Having worked there before, it was a huge plus that she already knew the coordinators and had cultivated relationships with trusted vendors who were familiar with the property. This insider knowledge made our planning process very smooth. We decided to go with the partial planning package, which fit our needs well. Early in the planning process, we'd spend time researching vendors on our own as well as ask Brooke for her recommendations, then reach out to the vendors on both of our lists. We found ourselves choosing her suggestions almost every time. Her industry experience and keen eye for quality vendors became obvious very quickly, yet she never made us feel pressured to go with any particular choice. She simply provided excellent options and let us make the decisions. Throughout the entire process, Brooke was incredibly mindful of our budget. In our very first meeting, she showed us a detailed budget from a previous wedding she did at our venue and walked us through each line item, pointing out areas where we might want to allocate more or less based on our priorities. This level of transparency and attention to detail immediately gave us confidence in her approach. Her communication style was exactly what we needed. We often sent her emails late at night, and Brooke would consistently respond first thing the next morning with clear, comprehensive answers. There was not a single time that she didn't address a concern in one of our emails, even when we sent her massive lists. She was also always proactive about letting us know when she'd be on vacation well in advance, allowing us to plan our questions and timeline accordingly. Brooke's flexibility was another standout quality. While our contract only covered the wedding day itself, we had planned a Welcome Dinner the night before and a Farewell Brunch the day after that we intended to handle ourselves. Unlike other planners we'd heard about from our friends who strictly limit their involvement to contracted days (which is understandable), Brooke was incredibly supportive when questions came up about these additional events. She went above and beyond by helping us order linens from the rental company and create layouts for these extra events. Not to say that future clients should expect this kind of support for non-contracted events by any means, but we were grateful for her willingness to lend a helping hand with the extra details that made our entire wedding weekend cohesive and stress-free. When our wedding day arrived, everything ran flawlessly! Even when we had a last-minute request to move our toasts indoors due to wind and chilly weather, Brooke handled it seamlessly without missing a beat. We can't imagine having planned our wedding without Brooke. Her expertise, professionalism, and genuine care for our vision made what could have been an overwhelming process both enjoyable and successful. We truly couldn't think of anything negative when she asked for our feedback after the wedding. We absolutely recommend her without reservation!

I can't emphasize enough how amazing Lisa Bravo and her crew are - from ideas to conception, phone and in person meetings, industry knowledge/service and suggestions, professionalism and follow through, she has the "it" factor! There are so many things on a bride's plate & working with Lisa I never felt overwhelmed or that anything was unreachable, rather anything was achievable. We hired Katy to help us with most of the planning and day-of coordination, which included unlimited communication with her until our special day. When we decided to postpone our wedding to June 2022, Katy was super accommodating. And nothing changed in terms of fees with Bravo - we got an entire extra year of bothering Katy for the exact same cost we paid in 2020. We had our wedding at Jacuzzi Family Vineyards and Katy was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the venue and everything & everybody that came with it. Whenever my husband and I had any questions we thought were random (questions about shuttles, where to host an after-party, where to have our rehearsal dinner, where to host day-after-wedding festivities, and so many more), Katy always had a well-thought-out answer via email for us within a day or two. Katy attended our tasting with Park Ave Catering and was also there with us for our site visit and rehearsal at our venue. Whenever she was around, my husband and I both felt at ease. When it came to the day of, everything ran smoothly and on-time as far as my husband and I could tell (which is all that matters, am I right?!). Our guests were amazed that our 5:00pm ceremony *actually* started at 5pm. The rest of the night flowed perfectly and I am so pleased that I have happy, WELL-PLANNED memories to look back fondly at on my wedding day. Thank you Katy for everything!

All of the vendors that were recommended to us were amazing and they all love working with Quintana events which made things even easier. As for the actual wedding, the planning was outstanding! Not one thing went wrong from my perspective and Alex and his team took care of EVERYTHING. I was able to be present in the moment all day and not have to worry about vendors or other things throughout the day which made it so special. Alex also was great with unpredictable issues, i.e. we had a venue cancel on us and we almost had a rainstorm on the day of the wedding. Both issues were resolved by Alex immediately. He quickly helped us find other venues in the area and for the rain, he had organized a beautiful rain contingency plan before I even had a chance to ask him about it. Alex also has a very calming presence so when I was feeling stressed about anything wedding related, he really helped with calming my nerves. He was always ten steps ahead which is exactly what you want in a planner. He is also great with working with family members and knows exactly what will make everyone feel comfortable throughout the planning process and on the wedding day. We received so many compliments from guests on how well-run and organized our wedding was and we have Alex to thank for that! Maryssa was super responsive from beginning to end and went above and beyond to help us with every single question we had for her (and believe me, I had a lot - paragraph upon paragraph long emails lol). Communication was super quick and helpful, every single time. We initially hired Maryssa for the Standard Package but after an extremely busy season with my job, I was overstressed and needed to up the help I needed from Maryssa. Maryssa was super accommodating and helped work out a reasonable fee in addition to the package we had already signed on for. Our first venue meeting was easy and felt like we had it all figured out (even though there was still lots to do) Maryssa was super composed and took notes the whole time. Shortly after, I received an e-mail with all her notes and the next steps I needed to take on the planning journey and recommendations for things I had asked for. It was nice meeting with Maryssa at the venue and being able to discuss my vision and at no point did she try to pressure me in any which way, just gave me helpful advice when needed. She really works with you to make your wedding come to life. Maryssa was so on top of emails and contacting other vendors leading up to the wedding day, it gave us some time to focus on all the little details we had left to do. It was nice not to have to try and figure out all the schematics and check all the lists a million more times. Day of wedding...my husband and I have been married for all of a week and we keep talking about how perfectly smooth our wedding day ran if there was a hiccup we sure didn't know about it! And that's one of the main reasons for hiring a coordinator but, I doubt everyone is as blessed with a Maryssa on their side. Maryssa went above and beyond in every aspect and was constantly checking in on us during the day and making sure we had everything we needed and letting us know when we were gearing up for dances or cake cutting, etc. By the end of the night, Maryssa still had a smile on her face (despite running around in 93-degree weather all day back and forth from the ceremony and reception sites). She seriously did it all without one complaint about heat, exhaustion, etc. She's a rock star! If you're looking for someone you can put all your trust in, look no further, Maryssa is your person for your big day! I would recommend her a million times over!

Before employing her services, we had already located a potential venue in Sonoma county that we were interested in. Fortunately, Maryssa had an existing relationship with the venue and accompanied us for our first meeting. All was good until we realized the venue was too small and location too far for family to travel so we requested Maryssa search for other venues in the Bay Area. From the very beginning we were clear the bay area was a preference but Sonoma/Napa was an option. In addition Hanna Smith events clearly advertise covering the Bay Area, however, from the moment we focused on viewing venues outside the wine country we felt an immediate disengagement from Maryssa. We were sent a few locations to view, but it seemed as though no thought was put into the selections. We were taking the lead, initiating meetings and basically doing a lot of the work we thought we were paying for. Our situation is a little unique. We had less than eight months to plan our wedding and currently we live in two separate counties, Australia and Northern California. We planned our visits so that we could both be here for wedding appointments. One particular scheduled appointment was to view a venue in Pleasanton. This turned out to be our venue of choice and although Maryssa sent us to a neighbouring site, we had In fact sourced the venue some time ago ourselves. The actual day of the appointment Maryssa did not call but emailed us saying she was sick and couldn't make it. What was most disappointing, is that Maryssa did not offer to send anyone in her place and was then leaving the next day on a personal trip for a week. We attended the meeting by ourselves and attempted to do the negotiating alone. We paid for a full service planning package and were left feeling unguided, frustrated and stressed after six weeks of no progress. After feeling we were initiating the majority of the work and ideas, we decided to part ways and employ another planner to help us. The difference in service is worlds apart and we now feel completely supported and on track with our new planner who is 100% invested and excited to help us plan on our journey. We understood the deposit was non refundable but we reached out to provide feedback to the business owner, just to be heard and express our feelings, and although she agreed to refund a token amount (less than a third of our payment) this was basically to make us go away. She completely sided with Maryssa without engaging us in any discussion to understand our point of view and to discover our experience with her business. Not what you would have expected by a business owner that should care about customer experience. There are always two sides to the story but in all honesty, as the paying customers, we felt completely ripped off and deeply regretting our decision to choose Hannah Smith events to plan our wedding.

Lorie,LaShawna and ALL the others were sooooo wonderful to deal with. Everything was as we talked about and exceeded our expectations!! Jessica & LaShawna are freaking stars! The planning process was seamless. I was so impressed with the attention to detail at the wedding venue walkthrough. We walked the entire venue, bounced ideas off each other for placement of every single item, and built a schematic. They even measured the venue to know exact placement of tables, chairs, etc. Planning the wedding was so easy/smooth thanks to the planning tools and check ins. Our rehearsal was straight to the point and very easy. We didn't need the full two hours allotted by our venue because they were on top of everything! Then came the wedding day. Our bridal salon overlooked the venue, so we were able to see the progress throughout the day. THEY WORK HARD!! and I mean, they pay attention to every single little detail to make sure the place looks beautiful and perfect. It was so impressive, we all couldn't stop talking about it. The wedding day went seamless, on time, and without a single issue. Jessica and LaShawna were there every step of the way, speaking to each other through their own personal headpieces. If anything came up or if I had any questions, they were there and ready to help where needed. My wedding wouldn't have gone as well as it did without them, I promise. I feel so grateful to have had the best team out there!! We also decided to hire the CLE House cleanup crew which was fantastic as well!
