We worked with Quintana Events for nearly two years because of the pandemic and postponing our wedding 13 months. They were with us every step of the way and answered all of our questions in a timely fashion. They were the reason we originally postponed our wedding early enough into the pandemic and were able to get a date with all our original vendors. We used their design service as well as their planning service. They knew from day one what our vision was and on the day of our wedding we truly had our perfect day. They helped coordinate all of our vendors & had so many helpful resources & to do lists. Steph and Alex are the two sweetest people and it truly was special being able to work with them and have them be part of our special day. Never did we have to worry about anything (both on the wedding day & everyday leading up to it) because they were literally on top of everything and they really pay attention to details! We cannot recommend them enough to plan & design your wedding as they were a dream to work with. read more

I can't say enough great things about Alex and Quintana Events! They are true professionals and helped me and my husband plan the most amazing wedding of our dreams! Alex helped us with every step in the planning process, including design elements since we were not exactly sure what we wanted when we began wedding planning. He was very communicative and patient with me and my indecisiveness which made me feel very supported. The planning process was far more enjoyable than I expected and that is because of Alex. All of the vendors that were recommended to us were amazing and they all love working with Quintana events which made things even easier. As for the actual wedding, the planning was outstanding! Not one thing went wrong from my perspective and Alex and his team took care of EVERYTHING. I was able to be present in the moment all day and not have to worry about vendors or other things throughout the day which made it so special. Alex also was great with unpredictable issues, i.e. we had a venue cancel on us and we almost had a rainstorm on the day of the wedding. Both issues were resolved by Alex immediately. He quickly helped us find other venues in the area and for the rain, he had organized a beautiful rain contingency plan before I even had a chance to ask him about it. Alex also has a very calming presence so when I was feeling stressed about anything wedding related, he really helped with calming my nerves. He was always ten steps ahead which is exactly what you want in a planner. He is also great with working with family members and knows exactly what will make everyone feel comfortable throughout the planning process and on the wedding day. We received so many compliments from guests on how well-run and organized our wedding was and we have Alex to thank for that! I highly recommend hiring Quintana Events, you will not regret it and you will have an amazing event! read more

Our daughter's wedding was spectacular. Kate Clayton with Quintana Events was amazing! We had a full year of wedding planning and each email/call/question was answered so quickly. Kate helped us every step of the way and went above and beyond. To plan a wedding with 200 guests is a scary thought as we had many cultural additions and details we added. My daughter's wedding weekend was flawless. The ceremony to the reception, our guests were in awe of the love and beauty. My wife and I and the rest of the family and guests truly enjoyed the wedding. It was unforgettable, thanks to Kate with Quintana Events. Highly recommended! read more

We worked with him from December 2022 - June 2024, and during that time he made sure we kept to our timeline, provided recommendations on vendors, and was an expert eye on design and colors. I loved working with Alex because he was someone I could really trust and say, "here take all these items and make everything beautiful" and he did! One week after our wedding, I reached out to Alex to debrief and chat about a few things, but also because I was experiencing major FOMO for no longer being able to work with Alex on a day-to-day basis. The team experience was exceptional, and I tell everyone that Alex is the literal definition of hospitality and customer service. He and his team always brought the best energy, most positive attitudes, and solution-oriented approaches. Of all the vendors and choices made, picking Quintana Events was the best and most important. The team went above and beyond to make our special day the most memorable it could be. read more

We used Quintana Events for our eldest daughter's wedding in 2017. Alex and his team did such an amazing job that when the opportunity arose we instantly chose him for event planning services for our next daughter's wedding held on June 18, 2022. The range of services that Alex provided was enormous including large ones, such as venue input and design, vendor selection, and wedding flow and timeline. But the services also included 100s of smaller ones, such as table, chairs, linens and color selections and many, many more. They also ranged from longer term planning to planning of the wedding day's events to real time coordination of the activities as they were happening. Throughout the entire process from our initial engagement with Alex, he demonstrated his knowledge, efficiency, and attention to detail for our daughter's wedding. And perhaps, equally importantly contributing to the wedding's success, Alex becomes part of our family. He is truly a warm and caring person making it his mission that your wedding is very special. And as a further testament to the amazing job he and his team did, when our newly married daughter and her husband were asked 'what didn't go according to plan', their answer was a resounding 'nothing, it was exactly as we imagined'! I would rate Alex and his team with 5+ stars and would recommend him to anyone planning their special wedding event. read more

Working with Quintana Events was a dream come true! Alex made the planning process so seamless and truly put my mind at ease. He was able to share his professional opinion when we weren't sure which way to go with a decision which helped us make decisions without stress. Alex took the time to get to not both of us, where so many other vendors only focused on me as the bride. On our wedding day, we (and our friends and family!) were able to relax and enjoy spending time with our guests because we knew Alex and team had everything under control. I would absolutely hire Quintana Events again! read more

My husband and I are so happy to have worked with Quintana events for our 2020 wedding! Like many couple this year we had to change/cancel our original wedding (planned for July) which involved a big celebration with friends and family. It was heartbreaking. We were so excited to move forward as husband and wife and hated that the uncertainty with the world and Covid was derailing our plan. With no real timeline for when we could reschedule our big wedding, we decided to look into some elopement options. Quintana Events had just what we were looking for!!! Alex and his team created beautiful wine country elopement packages. There was a few simple and thoughtful options for venues, flowers etc. For a bride, still disappointed from our spoiled plans, this was just what I needed. I didn't want to spend time agonizing over the details, so I was so grateful that Quintana Events had already thought about everything for me. In addition to making these amazing elopements happen, Alex was also extremely patient with me. I was hesitant to make new plans, or set another date as there was a lot of emotion for me in doing this. We had to come to terms with the fact most of family (with the exception of our parents) would not be there. As well, we were at the mercy of any county or state Covid restrictions that were changing daily. Alex understood these dilemmas and held our date for months, before we made the final decision to move forward. We couldn't be happier it all worked out, and that we had the help of Quintana Events! read more

If you are getting married in the Sonoma area you HAVE to use Quintana Events for your wedding planning needs. Alex and the team went above and beyond for us from our first phone call through our wedding day. If we could give 100 stars we would. Alex is the best wedding planner we could ever ask for. Our wedding was the week of the Kincaid fire in October. While my wife and I were panicking about how the fire and power outages would impact our wedding, Alex kept us calm and handled absolutely everything. He worked with the venue to get back up generators, portal restrooms, and everything we needed in case power went out. He coordinated with the venue, caterers, etc. to make sure in the chaos of that moment everything would run smoothly. With him and his teams work, everything went perfectly despite the craziness of the situation around us. We wish we could get married again so we could rehire Quintana Events. read more

My husband and I worked with Alex for nearly 3 years to plan our wedding (thanks COVID). We would have been lost without him and his team. He is professional in every sense of the word. He helped us navigate changing our venue, and postponing our wedding. He brought us a much needed sense of calm and peace. He made the process fun and enjoyable even through the hard times. On the day of Alex and his team were amazing. They made sure that everything ran perfectly and my husband and I were able to just enjoy our day rather than worry about any logistics. Alex and Heather are amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed working with them. They are easy going and personable. Always interacted with everyone with a great attitude. Very professional but will let you know if you come up with an idea that probably won't work. And they are always right. They gave great vendor recommendations. I didn't take their recommendation for the DJ and he turned out to be a nightmare. The day of the wedding Heather and team went above and beyond. Great with setup, transition and breakdown. His responsiveness, high quality work, and easy going attitude went above and beyond our expectations. He is one of the nicest people out there and is so SO good at what he does. There is so much that goes into planning a perfect day, not only for the couple getting married, but also for the guests. Wish I could give 6 stars! Alex and Quintana Events are amazing!! We hired Quintana as our Day-Of Coordinators, but Alex was honestly there every step of the way to answer questions or assist with anything we needed help with! We planned our destination Napa wedding all the way from Chicago and Alex did a great job of keeping us informed and managing our planning timeline. It probably didn't help that I had a million and one questions/requests, but he didn't skip a beat and never made us feel like we were behind on anything. On the weekend of our wedding, Alex and team did a GREAT job managing the flow of events and telling our families where to be and when. We were required to hire a 90 day coordinator with our venue, the Barn at Tyge William Cellars. It was down to a select few recommended by the event office there. So far, Alex Quintana has been hitting it out of the park. He has solid and close relationships with the people at the venue and caterer. He has helped with visiting hotels for room blocks, and everyone we meet with (event managers, hotel staff, church ceremony administrators) have nothing but great things to say about him. I will update more after my wedding tomorrow, but if you're considering between Quintana Events and another company, you will not regret selecting Alex and his staff =) EDIT: Now it is after my wedding, and I can say with 100% confidence that my wedding day would not have been as perfect had it not been for Alex and his staff at Quintana Events. He made sure we were prepared from the time we signed him on as a coordinator until the end of the reception. You can tell he has dealt with it all (including uninvited guests, which he managed with such poise during my reception). He has a magical skill of making the couple he is working with seem like they are the only ones he is working with. If you are looking for a coordinator (or planner) that will make wedding planning easy, fun, and stress free, then Quintana Events is for you! The whole wedding prep process really starts with your coordinator/planner. If you pick a great one, then everything will fall into place. I could not have asked for anything more from him. So pick Alex! I can't thank him enough for being able to say (in such a cliché way), that my wedding day was the best day of my life =) read more

We couldn't be more grateful to Alex and his team for all their help planning (and replanning) our October 2020 wedding. Our original date was meant to be in April 2020, but like many couples we had to cancel due to Covid-19. Without missing a beat, Alex was there every step of the way for months with advice on next steps and, ultimately, helped us replan a brand new beautiful and intimate wedding. He helped us see the magic in our small gathering and turned it into our perfect wedding. While he legally couldn't be there in person on the day of, he was there in the days leading up organizing everything, setting up the venue and making sure everything ran smoothly on the day of and it totally did! My husband and I got married in September at Domaine Chandon. Alex was amazing from the initial meeting when we met him at his office in Sonoma when we were still trying to lock down a wedding planner. We went with Alex because he clearly knew what he was talking about, the wonderful praises from other vendors, and out of all the wedding planners we met, my husband felt most at ease with him. It was important to me to chose a wedding planner that my husband would get along with. Alex and his team will go above and beyond for you. He always had the time to answer any of my silly wedding questions and made sure no question was too small. We chose to go with their design package add on and recommend it to all future brides. At the time, I thought that design was something that sounded fun and was something I was capable of handling but looking back, I am so happy that we had Alex as the central point of contact to pull the look together. During the entire planning process, Alex was fun, organized and on top of it. He is easy to get along with and also will let you know when you are falling behind schedule and need to start finalizing vendors :) Thank you Alex and your team for an amazing night and for going above and beyond. You made our wedding day one night we will never forget. read more

Musical Heart Strings performed for a wedding at Jacuzzi Vineyards on Saturday August 2, 2014. When we arrived we were greeted by Brie from Quintana events. She had a huge smile on her face and asked if she could help with anything. Wow! blow us over! Often coordinators are too busy to help the musicians. However, I could tell Brie was excellent at multi-tasking. As she was calmly going over the ceremony details with us, she was scanning the venue to make sure everythig was going smoothly. She was great at keeping eveything on track. The wedding was beautiful and everything went as planned thanks to Brie and her partner Rachel. Prior to the big day, we also had a some phone conversations with Alex who was also very professional and helpful. He made sure we had what we needed when we arrived at the venue and answered any questions we had in a timely fashion. We were unable to meet Alex the day of the wedding due to a family emergency. However, he was very available to us via phone conversations going into detail about where we would set up for the wedding and cocktail reception. Musical Heart Strings now performs for over 60 weddings a year and we only recommend a handful or coordintors. Quintana Events is one of them. read more
