We hired Techtonic Events for DJ + sound + ceremony audio + mics + a silent disco, and they absolutely crushed it. We worked mostly with Micah (DJ) and Leo (owner), and both were super responsive and easy to communicate with the whole way through. Even though we had live musicians for the ceremony and dinner, Micah handled all the audio beautifully and kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes. He totally understood our music taste (we used the Vibo app to share must-plays, do-not-plays, and songs for special moments), and he completely nailed the vibe we were going for. The silent disco was honestly one of the best parts of the night. SO fun. We had Micah DJ one channel and a parents-playlist on the other, and watching people switch channels and dance to totally different songs was hilarious and joyful. Leo is absolutely INCREDIBLE!! I can't sing his praises enough! He did such an amazing job transforming the dreams we had for our wedding into reality. I loved everything about our venue except it's indoor ballroom where we were planning to do dancing and dessert. The whole space was so cream colored and boring that I thought making it even remotely pretty would be ridiculously expensive. Little did I know, it was no match for Leo's lighting skills! Another prospective DJ I talked to was very dismissive of my vision for blue lighting during dancing. Leo, on the other hand, leaned into the vision and made something truly beautiful and even better than I could have imagined! He was so impressive every step of the way - from our phone call introduction to the onsite walkthrough where he showed us how some uplights and a few well-placed gobos could completely transform a space. We couldn't have been happier with the end result! He absolutely transformed this blank space into a wonderland - stunning! He has such a positive, helpful attitude and made sure the whole celebration flowed smoothly from one phase to the next. I'm also convinced he's the only reason my new husband and I got our dinner that night! Somehow our caterers overlooked the bride and groom - shocking, I know. But Leo noticed and hunted down our food, making sure we had ample time to enjoy it before speeches. While that is certainly beyond the call of duty, his more traditional DJ skills were also on full display. His song selections were on-point during the dancing - he did a great job reading the room and kept the floor packed all night long! And if that wasn't enough, he also worked closely with my dad for an extra special surprise. My dad had recorded his own version of him singing our father-daughter dance song. I had been expecting the Louis Armstrong version and instead, there was my dad's voice coming through the speakers. I could barely keep it together! Leo was our emcee / DJ / lighting extraordinaire / chic photobooth provider for our wedding in October, and we cannot express enough how wonderful it was to work with him. From our first phone call, we could tell Leo was going to be awesome to work with - he's passionate about his music (and sound quality), has a keen eye for gorgeous ambiances, and was just generally such a fun guy. Our whole family knew him by name before meeting him because we couldn't stop talking about how excited we were to be working with him. My husband and I got married the week of a huge storm, and we couldn't have asked for a better person to help us through it all. Leo was wonderful about everything, being completely flexible with all of our arrangements and setup, and reassuring us that everything would still be beautiful despite our plans completely changing literally hours before the wedding - and he was totally right. Our guests couldn't tell we'd changed venue locations last minute, and couldn't stop commenting about how they appreciated our (/Leo's) attention to detail. Leo and his team can really do it all! We had a 300 person wedding in June at a barn/vineyard where we had a blank slate and could decorate the place however we wished. Leo and his team were able to make it all happen. His team was able to add beautiful draping to the barn entryways, hang star lights and added some beautiful uplighting that really made the barn pop with color and life. They also lit up areas of the venue that needed lighting like the walkways and such. But to top it off Leo was a great DJ. My husband is a musician so we were hesitant to find a DJ that would understand what kind of music to play (ie we do not like top 40..) and Leo was able to really keep the right vibe the whole evening. On top of that we had a pretty elaborate set up for the ceremony (ie a combination of live music, multiple people using a mic for the ceremony itself, and some music to be played when we walk down the aisle). Leo was able to keep things moving smoothly the whole time. He also worked with us to make sure we stayed on budget and even moved speakers during the event to optimize the sound. ANDDD he did a great job MCing (even with Indian names!) and even getting a photo slideshow up and then transitioning smoothly into my dad singing and then doing a crazy big flash mob... and then he DJed the dance party! It was a crazy busy night but Leo kept things flowing and we really appreciate it!!! read more

Due to the nature of the event, emotions ran high and there was limited time to accomplish everything. Leo was fantastic. Our original rental company didn't fill out the contract correctly, and the bride and groom didn't notice. When it was brought up, they were told it was too late and that the company had "cancelled it because they didn't hear back from them". Leo ran all the string lighting for our reception dinner area, dance floor, and bar. He set up audio in two spots. the ceremony and then by the dance floor which were a solid 300 yards from one another.
