Dax was really easy to discuss this event and met me at the venue to review the space. Even though the event is a year away, he was very accommodating. He even added a link to our event website for party goers to select their favorite songs ahead of time. read more

Don't waste your time looking anywhere else. If you are planning an event and need ANY services: Book Dax Entertainment. In my role as Activity Director, I worked with Dax the past few years putting on multiple events. We've booked him for lighting, sound, music and his photo booth. It's been a ideal experience. He is such a great person and an incredible talented DJ and event manager. Over the years, I've also come to consider him a friend. I am honored to have him DJ our wedding this February. read more

I had the opportunity to work with Dax this past year for the wedding of a mutual client. This review is a bit over-due, but don't want to take away from the fact that Dax Entertainment deserves 5 stars and more! From our very first interaction until the wedding was over Dax and his team were incredible. As a wedding planner I would consider myself to have high expectations of my vendor team and Dax exceeded my expectations throughout the entire process. He was professional, prompt (this is huge) and highly experienced. He attended each walk-through and was quick to answer any questions I had as well as reach out to me to ensure the wedding would be perfect. If you are a couple or a planner looking for audio/visual or special effects Dax and your team will not disappoint. read more

Dax and his team were incredibly professional. In a time of intense stress and grief, he was so patient and accommodating, helping us execute our vision of my Mom's Celebration of Life. He and his team arrived early and were set-up and ready for rehearsals, the screen and projector for the slide show exceeded our expectations, the microphones worked well without a squeak and he and his team went to the extra effort of researching how to connect our daughter's piano to their sound system. Couldn't have been a better experience and we would wholeheartedly recommend his team for any event. read more

Dax and his crew are the ultimate in personalized and professional service. As a teacher and advisor at Rancho Cotate H.S., I can attest that my site relies on DE for so many important events. Please support local business in these unsettling times and use DE for all your virtual events; you will be happy you did. read more

They do a great job, provide excellent service, and work with you every step of the way to make sure your needs are met, no matter how stupid (within reason). read more

Dax Entertainment has been one of the best companies we have worked with at our family entertainment company, Laser Tag of Santa Rosa. From the minute we first met the owner/operator, DJ Dax himself, we could tell this was a standup guy with a standup company! His enthusiasm, punctuality, proactive promotion and marketing is way beyond anything we have ever seen in business relationship. In addition to that, DJ Dax is simply a really nice and fun guy to work with. Dax Entertainment provided the music, lighting, and energy for our New Year's Middle School Dance in 2015. It was so fun and successful that we have already enlisted their services again in 2016. We got tons of compliments on the lighting and excitement Dax Entertainment provided and it went way beyond our expectations for quality. Dax Entertainment worked hard to integrate the lighting and dance theming with our own branding and existing lighting so that it all felt like one big, fun, unit. They brought everything necessary for the job and set up without needing a single hand or even extension cord from our facility. That event was such fun, that we enlisted Dax Entertainment several weeks later for our "Middle School Digital Data Dance" event, that was also a big hit. We currently have on-going promotional events with Dax Entertainment that have helped our business tremendously. In fact, these events were individually dreamed up by DJ Dax and continue to gain us valuable exposure and support within the community. In addition to bringing us the fundraiser for Petaluma High School, DJ Dax also brought all kinds of new customers and birthday parties to our facility. If there is one word to describe the way DJ Dax works, it would be "enthusiasm." And how fun is it to work with people that are excited about what they do?! Dax Entertainment gets 5 out of 5 stars on every measurable scale of performance, quality, and customer service. read more

Dax and his team have done great work for my school dances for two years now. The DJs have a great sense of their audience and played a wide selection of music that met the criteria we laid out. Also, Dax has a wide selection of service offerings and was friendly and helpful even when I told him we wanted to get by as cheaply as possible. He is prompt and clear in communication, and the DJ was timely and efficient in setting up. I 100% recommend for DJ services! read more

Extremely professional, organized and truly cares about the success of your event! I highly recommend!

Dax is absolutely the most professional person I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He is very organized, on top of everything, and very friendly and accommodating. We hired Dax for our wedding back in October and due to the fires here in SANTA Rosa, we had to reschedule. Dax rescheduled without any hesitation. Our wedding went fantastically, the sound at the ceremony was flawless without any feedback, and the reception/dance party was POPPIN ! Everyone enjoyed the music and had an amazing time. I wish we could have another wedding just to hire Dax again. -The Ayez family read more

As an activity director for 6 years at a local middle school, Dax was the epitome of a true professional. He went out of his way to support the leadership class in putting on awesome activities. Dax is the best! read more

We had Dj Dax at our daughters sweet 16 birthday party and we were more than satisfied with his presentation. Meaning, his presentation of lights, speakers and music selection were just the right amount, and type. His music was clean, and appropriate for the occasion. He had an awesome light show that went to the music. I've seen his Dj presentation before at another special event where he provided TV screens (which was really cool by the way) and for that reason I decided to request his services. My daughter and her friends had lots of fun and really liked the show. I would recommend Dj Dax for any occasion because he is very professional personally and as a Dj. Thank you Dj Dax! read more

Had the most amazing experience working with Dax to set the scene for my wedding last month. There is literally no one else I would recommend over Dax Entertainment if someone is looking for a DJ, lighting and party expert in the North Bay. Not only was Dax responsible for the amazing music (EVERYONE who went raved about the music our DJ was playing) but he also created the perfect mood for the night. He brought in uplighting that accented the gold tones and modern look of our Barlow Venue during dinner time and had party lighting when it was time to turn things up on the dance floor. Dax also was able to string light the outside patio of our venue to bring the party outside. Dax is professional, detail oriented and was early to every single meeting we had in preparation of the event. He was a logistics pro when in came to figuring out how to work with the existing electrical at the venue and made sure that we weren't going to overload the power during the event. Not his first rodeo, my friends. On the day of the event, Dax's awesome colleague, Dustin, was there to make sure that our bridal party of 11 people were all lined up and giving us our cues for our grand entrance. Not an easy task, but he wrangled us with ease. (Clearly, not his first rodeo either.) There are so many options when it comes to DJ's, but if you want someone who is quality, honest, super-easy going but totally fun, you have just found your team. Seriously, thank you for making my wedding reception PERFECT. Can't wait to throw an anniversary party and keep the party going:) Thank you for making everything just as easy to plan, as it was fun to put on. read more

DJ Dax...look no further for entertainment services. He is amazing! I first met him 10 years ago when a friend recommending his DJ services, I have since used him multiple times for birthday parties and now have him booked for my wedding reception next year. Friendly and organized I wouldn't recommend any one else! read more

Dax has provided DJ, lighting, and photo booth services to my program's school prom for the last 4+ years. He is extremely professional, communicative, and prompt. He goes above and beyond to ensure all our questions get answered prior to the event. But what's great is he has past experience doing other events where we have held our proms, so he was already familiar with how to execute a successful event in that space, which just speaks to his expertise. He had multiple options for photo booths, has great props, and always has suggestions and extras that we can add to enhance our event (like last year he gave us a backdrop to use at our events entrance when we had a "red carpet" themed event and we took pics of kids arriving, like paparazzi). His staff are also very professional, always arrive early, and know what they're doing. Most importantly, Dax is just a really nice person and a pleasure to work with. We will continue to use Dax for our events, and I recommend him to everyone! read more
