The planning process was seamless. I was so impressed with the attention to detail at the wedding venue walkthrough. We walked the entire venue, bounced ideas off each other for placement of every single item, and built a schematic. They even measured the venue to know exact placement of tables, chairs, etc. Planning the wedding was so easy/smooth thanks to the planning tools and check ins. Our rehearsal was straight to the point and very easy. We didn't need the full two hours allotted by our venue because they were on top of everything! Then came the wedding day. Our bridal salon overlooked the venue, so we were able to see the progress throughout the day. THEY WORK HARD!! and I mean, they pay attention to every single little detail to make sure the place looks beautiful and perfect. It was so impressive, we all couldn't stop talking about it. My daughter had her wedding planned last Sunday but one week before the wedding it had to be cancelled because of coronavirus state mandates. WARNING, super long post, but worth the read. SOOO my wedding was two months ago and unlike most brides, I am GLAD it is over. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved getting married, I love my husband even more, I loved being a bride! But the PLANNING, even though it was fun and I was a pretty easy going bride, was SO TIME CONSUMING, and time is something I have very very little of (I work 45 hours a week, I'm a masters student, and I have a side business/hustle). I wanted a wedding designer and event coordinator because I needed help planning this wedding and finding all the vendors in a mere 8 months, but at the same time I was wanting to do all the work because I'm the type who likes to do everything herself. 6 months into my wedding planning, I was maybe 50% done and freaking out. I met Courtney about 3 months into planning from one of the venues I was inquiring about. She's the one I told I wasn't going to move forward with that venue and I expected an indifferent reaction because I was turning down their business! But nooo, she was so warm and friendly and incredibly professional! She offered her coordinating services, which I also turned down (it took one month to turn down because I was going back and forth, plus she was persistent in getting an answer). If you're reading this Courtney, thank GOD you were persistent. You knew I needed you more than I knew I needed you. Soooo, t-minus two months before the wedding and I don't have my florist, 90% of the decor is incomplete, no wedding schedule, no music, I'm nervous! I message Courtney expecting her to tell me she's all booked, and thank the Lord Almighty that she was available. She AGREED to plan and coordinate my wedding, in only two months! I was shooketh. I felt like a 1000 lb boulder was lifted off my shoulders. Not only did she plan the most beautiful, whimsical, vintage with a hint of fairytale, wonderful wedding of my absolute dreams with the prettiest decor that came straight out of a story book, she was able to stay ON BUDGET, she made the entire ceremony and reception run incredibly smooth, she set up all the decor and tables in only 2 hours with her ever growing crew of helpers which is INSANE, she contacted all the vendors and found the best prices for me, she blew up my phone constantly with ideas and photos of decor that it felt like I was planning it myself without the headache, and she brought to the table some amazing ideas that I would have never considered myself but loved so so much. She met with me so many times, she answered my texts so quickly, she addressed and eased all of my concerns, she ran my wedding like a freakin pro and made last minute ideas work!
