Gerry kept telling me certain glasses were too big on my face and that's why the problem with the lenses, they kept telling me to wear my glasses and get used to them however I kept getting dizzy, and told me that I was losing my vision to read up close and needed readers, which was inaccurate. I think everyone has a different style in frames. Dr.Potaznik is kind of snappy and rude, couldn't give me the right prescription for my contacts or glasses, the staff kept on insisting that I was wrong and the script was right. After spending close to $500 without any money back, I went to Visionworks and my first visit they gave me the correct prescription and were super nice, and NO I don't need readers! With the correct prescription I see just fine. What a mess! I do not recommend!

My last eye exam was about 10 months ago and unfortunately my insurance only covers the bill every 24 months. So I called around a few places to inquire about the out of pocket expenses. I'm glad I called Dr. Park's office. The receptionist was very friendly and even worked with me regarding my insurance and told me that they would work it out where this wouldn't be charged as a routine eye exam but instead a medical one. I thought what the hell, it was better than nothing. One great thing about this place was the late hours they offered on Monday and Thursday where they took visits till 7:30 pm so that worked out well for the 9 - 5 worker. Came promptly at 6:30 pm for my 7 pm appointment so I can get all the paperwork out of the way. The place is located on the first floor in a business building shared with three other businesses so it was fairly easy to find. The waiting room was very nice and had a TV going while I waited. From where I sat I had a clear view to the door of the exam room as well as a stock of eye wear they had on display near the back of the office. Since I wore contacts didn't really need to take a look. Once Dr. Parks was ready he brought me in and sat me down and gave me the whole eye check up with eye dilations. He was very nice and social-able as he asked me questions about what I was experiencing. Thankfully nothing was terribly wrong with my eyes and he reassured me I wasn't in danger of going blind. I thanked him for taking me on such short notice and he even gave me a free Blink eye drops as well as two travel boxes of Clear Care. In the end, I ended up paying about $45 for the deductible to the receptionist and went on my merry way. I'll definitely come back here for my next routine eye exam as it's right next to Warwick Mall close to where I live.

When I called I told them that my insurance will only cover a general eye exam. They said they would call and confirm. When I arrived I told them again the same thing and to the doctor. Sure enough they charged an extra service for photos that I even asked is this part of the exam my insurance only covers an exam. I was assured yes only part of an exam. A month later I received the bill for 87 dollars for an extra service that did. I called and explained the situation with the receptionist and pretty much did not care. Will not be returning back. Service was not exceptional by any means. 4/5/18 Made an adjustment on my initial review. The owner of the office contacted me an apologized for the experience and refunded my card. She was very pleasant and sincere. I wish I had seen her for my initial visit there as I feel my experience would have been different.

They were very busy but the lady behind the desk said somebody would be with me shortly.. in about 20 minutes the gentleman had my glasses back to perfect and told me there was no charge because I was patient... However, that said, the people there went out of their way to be accommodating when I needed an eye exam ASAP. As an unestablished, new patient, they got me in the next day! Dr. Ni has a wonderful bedside manner. He puts you at ease while examining your eyes-- as this is not always the most comfortable experience. He talked to me about what was going on with my eyes and shared various options with me in terms of correcting my vision. After the exam his assistants helped me pick out 2 great pair of glasses and the prices were very reasonable. I was even given a discount because I purchased more than one pair of glasses out of pocket. I look forward to now having a great optometrist to establish a long term relationship with.

It was done and I wasn't aware of this being an additional cost, however, I didn't need the extra assessment; it was simply implied I wanted it. I paid for that and let it go. Then this past year, again, another terrible experience. I asked if they would price match the online pricing from another company, and I was told yes. I was never informed that they were price matching me after my insurance allowance (which would've made my decision different). I asked for it to be SELF PAY, I paid in full, then this year I called again and she said you're not eligible through your insurance yet. I was going to submit a claim for reimbursement of my eligible part for last year, but because they were sneaky and unprofessional about it I won't get my reimbursement. I am all about supporting local businesses but when one does things without your explicit consent, it is very unpleasant. Melinda also gave a response over the phone "Well, if you didn't use it you were going to lose it ANYWAY" -Melinda. First of all, you don't talk to a customer that way, neither should you be making a decision on their behalf. I work in healthcare and know very well how it works, I don't need someone processing claims when I explicitly explained the condition on me making a purchase through them and not online. I will also be filing a BBB complaint. Never again am I going back there.

She barely spoke to me and was dismissive of the concerns/issues I brought up and gave me no helpful advice/information. I've had the same prescription for 10+ years and expressed apprehension about changing it but was basically told "try it and see what happens." The office assistants are kind and helpful. I must emphasize that Dr. Bradley's thoroughness, honesty, and attention to detail are all noteworthy traits. Most importantly, regardless of her busy schedule, she will extend her hours to assist and examine her patients should they have a specific concern/problem.
