    The amethyst crystal sauna
    Heather N.

this place is a Miami Beach staple I have been coming for the past 25 years but hadn't been for at least 10 years thing go around. It still has the same feel and great amenities. It has so many different rooms from hot saunas and steam rooms and cold plunges and a Jacuzzi and a room that had amazing crystals to charge your soul. They also have a relaxation room and an area to have lunch and fruit juices. It is also very well known cause it was pretty busy with people coming in and out which is impressive. I have never been to another spa or bath quite like it. now it is a bit dated and definitely has an odd smell but one you get past that it's really great and relaxing. The entrance is $65 per person, but you could stay there all day if you'd like and come in and out and it's open from 9 AM to 10 PM so that's worth it. Also parking at the hotel is pretty pricey, but we parked in a parking lot down the street and it's only like $1.50 an hour and free after six.

We gave Russian & Turkish Baths a solid four stars, and that rating came after a lot of back and forth because this place is honestly confusing in the best and worst ways. On one hand, for a $65 spa entrance, there are things that absolutely should not be broken, missing, or questionable. On the other hand, this place has some of the most intense and impressive amenities I have ever experienced in my life, and I say that as someone who is from LA and considers themselves a full blown Korean spa veteran. Like, I do not say that lightly. The offerings here are next level. First, the value conversation. Sixty five dollars is steep, and with that price tag you expect things to feel polished and borderline luxurious. This is not that. The space does not feel luxurious. It feels dark in places, a little maze like, and sometimes you are walking through rooms to get to other rooms wondering if you accidentally entered a staff area. Some things were not working, some things felt under explained, and the towels were honestly not great. They felt thin, almost secondhand, and the color was not even cute. Bring your own towel if you can. I also brought my own sandals and shorts and was way more comfortable that way. Now here is where the four stars come in. The amenities. My god. Touch every door. Carefully. I cannot stress that enough. Some of these rooms are so hot that people were audibly yelping, like loud oh shit reactions echoing through the space. They seriously need more visible and louder safety warnings because third degree burns do not sound like a fun souvenir. That said, the extremes are kind of the whole point. The cold plunge was the coldest thing I have ever experienced in my life. I cannot last long in any of these rooms because they are truly extreme, but that is what you are paying for. If you do not do this kind of thing regularly, it is absolutely worth trying at least once. One of the most underrated features is this insanely powerful water hose situation that is basically like putting out a house fire. I am not exaggerating. You can stand against the wall and let it blast your back, or have someone spray you. Yes, even a stranger. It is incredible and wildly underused. Right next to it is a rain style water feature that you should absolutely use without guilt. A lot of water gets used here, and honestly it makes sense why the price is high because the water usage alone must be insane. We specifically came during the men only hours on Thursday from 8 to 12, and that made a huge difference in comfort. I was way more relaxed knowing it was single sex, and once noon hit and it became coed, that comfort level definitely shifted. There is no big statement behind that, it is just personal preference. One thing that did bother me is that people are allowed to have their phones. I can easily see how when it gets busy, this turns into people taking pictures left and right, which is annoying when you are there to actually relax and not be in someone's background content. The staff deserves real praise. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming and honestly made the experience better. Even while you are in the baths, they are checking in, asking if everything is okay, and making sure people are safe. That kind of attentiveness matters and it did not go unnoticed. A few more honest notes. There is a smell. It is not overpowering, but it is there, and it feels chronic. That needs to be addressed. The jacuzzi could also be hotter. I kept wishing it was just a bit more intense, especially after coming out of the hotter rooms. Also, there were not enough soap stations. Soap was available in the main entrance restrooms, but not everywhere else where you really want it. Parking is another thing to plan for. Google Maps will take you to an entrance where valet parking is basically the only obvious option and it is $40. If you do not want to pay that, park near the fire station about five minutes away. It is around five dollars for four hours, which is reasonable, but you will need to walk. Once you arrive, you go into the building, turn right sharply, head down the stairs, and look for the Turkish bathhouse signage. It is not hard once you know, but I really wish I had known ahead of time. One very cool perk that I wish was advertised more clearly is that your admission is essentially good for the whole day. Most people stay three to four hours, but you can come in and out, which actually makes the price feel more reasonable if you turn it into a full relaxation day. Would I come back tomorrow? No. Would I come back next month? Probably not. Would I consider it once a year? Yes. Absolutely. When I left, I genuinely felt like a different person. My body felt reset, worked, and relaxed in a way that regular spas do not achieve. It is not perfect, it needs work, and it is overpriced for the lack of polish, but the experience itself is unforgettable. Four stars, with notes.

I came here with my husband on our anniversary yesterday & I wanted to love this place sooo bad but it's so hard too given the circumstances... For one, they don't give you any instructions on what to do once you get past the doors, like what to do how to do it, which is unfortunate because we even opened the door on someone who was completely nude in one of the rooms because we are trying to figure out what's what and everyone is looking at us like we're distrubing them everytime we open a door. Second, we purchased two $85 dollar massages that were actually the worst massages we've ever had in our lives! My husband got a guy who was so rough he's in physical pain today & I got this older lady who literally only massages me for 35 minutes and just streched and tickled me the entire time! No type of professionalism, walked in on me with my breast out trying to get my bikini on stating she needed to clean the room right now after giving me 40 seconds to change. We expressed how dissapointed we were with the front desk and he laughed at us and told us to pay up. If you're used to this and you like it that's cool but if you wanna try something new and want a sanitary, good vibe or even just a decent massage this place is NOT it. I literally feel robbed & violated.

As someone who loves self care, the experience I have here, makes me forget the crazy stress or outside world for the moment. Today I was driving down from Boca and of course if you know Miami traffic - 9 times out of 10 you know it's going to be an unpredictable drive. Fortunately, I gave a call about 8:30am for my 10am appointment to inform them that I may be running behind. However, the stress and anxiety I had about my drive was quickly diminished as they adjusted my appointment time. Service here is always consistently SUPERB! Once arriving, I went into the waiting area to drink a hot tea and relax. My masseuse was super friendly and amazing as well. Since I did the lymphatic body massage today, they give you a disposable bikini to dress into. I informed her of my problem areas and she got to work. She started on my midsection/waist which I loved because as a woman dealing with bloating, this massage helps! It gets your waistline snatched! Also, I love when they pull out the tools to really help get into different parts of your body. They also have the infrared sauna which on top of your body massage really allows you to sweat out toxins! I HIGHLY recommend coming here if you're looking to look more tone on top of your workout regime or looking for a relaxing experience in Miami Beach.

If you were traveling for work and staying at this hotel, and needed a day to just forget that everyone existed, this would be great for that. My friends and I flew down from Richmond during a crazy winter storm and decided to get a day pass here among other things. The day pass included spa access during their open hours, as well as pool access. Unfortunately, because of the unseasonably cool weather, the hotel had not opened the pool which pretty much made the spa the only option for anyone else who had purchased the resort pass too, and I'm just not sure the facilities were up to that task. The spa itself had a relaxation area, which was three lounge chairs in the room with a hot tub and a cold tub. In the room next to that, there was a dry sauna, a wet sauna, and a shower. I'm not a huge fan of the dry sauna, dry heat isn't really my thing, but I did rather like the wet sauna room. It was nice and large, and the hot steamy air felt great on my poor frozen winter storm lungs. The cold plunge pool is also not my thing, but the hot tub was awesome, but it had a couple of pretty huge problems. The first was that it was up a flight of stairs. Everyone in our party has limited mobility in some fashion and One of our party uses a walker and isn't super mobile at all, so it was very difficult to actually make it to the hot tub. Might have been nice to know it wasn't actually accessible before we booked the spa. Luckily, even though she isn't super mobile, she is able to haul herself very slowly up stairs, provided it has a nice sturdy railing... Which it did have a railing... unfortunately the railing was completely loose at the bottom and not particularly sturdy since it was only partially connected. It had stone steps, and due to the nature of the room, they were a bit wet so they had nonskid stickers on them, but it had unfortunately peeled up and was mostly loose. Ultimately, our friend ended up using us as the steady banister to get up the stairs, but that probably wasn't any safer since it wasn't like we had anything to hold onto because again... slippery stairs and loose banister. We made it up safely, and then try to get in the hot tub. The tub itself is square, has a ladder railing, but we couldn't actually see any ladder steps, so we kind of had to guess where was safe to get in the pool. Being the most mobile of the group, I ended up sitting on the edge of the tub and feeling around with my feet until I figured out that the tub has three walls with stone benches around it that we could step on and get in. We only actually figured out after getting out that the pool had sunken footholds in the wall, not an actual ladder. Never would have found those getting in, but learn from our ignorance. The hot tub is awesome, the jets were great and absolutely the thing we needed after the plane flight and freezing winter storms, but everyone else felt that way too, so we were unable to get back in it again like we would have liked. We ended up heading out earlier than we intended and just sitting outside for the rest of our stay. Overall, the place is small, which makes it hit or miss as to whether or not you can use the facilities, which makes it hit or miss as to whether it is a good value for the day pass. You may luck out, or you may strike out.

They also have a Tea Ceremony at 2pm which adds to the luxury vibe. The relaxation Lounge offers a couple of complimentary nibbles (e.g. mixed nuts with dried fruit), cold water, and hot tea. Food is not allowed in the spa but there's a few options in the beautiful Eden Roc hotel, from full on restaurant, to small plates at the bar lounge or Cafe Ines for a happy medium. A word to the wise: the spa is under renovation so sometimes some of the amenities are not working (hot tub, sauna, etc). If you don't want to be disappointed make sure you call ahead and ask. I'm looking forward to see how everything looks when it's finished because the new steam room is lovely.

Exactly what we needed. We chose the 80-minute deep tissue massage, and from the moment we arrived, the experience was flawless. We were offered champagne, then asked to complete a brief intake form to note our needs and any areas of concern. From there, we were escorted to the women's locker room, changed into plush robes and slippers, and spent a few relaxing minutes in the sauna. Soon after, our massage therapists arrived, Nelly for me and Jenny for my colleague, and guided us to a beautiful, dimly lit treatment room. We settled onto warmed massage tables and were wrapped in the softest, most luxurious sheets. And then... the real magic began. Nelly was absolutely phenomenal. She worked through my sore, overworked muscles with incredible skill for over an hour. Her hands were both strong and intuitive, her movements gentle and graceful as she transitioned from one area to the next. THE SERVICE: I went with the "new client deal" promoted on their website-it provides a variety of services. For the deal of 110, I went with the colonic, yoni steam and foot detox. My first appointment was the colonic and it started 40 mins late, so keep it in mind. The colonic treatment with Liliana was fantastic. Liliana is very knowledgable, and professional and creates a safe space for comfort. Then I had the foot detox, gross to look at but cool nonetheless and added to self-knowledge, but nothing else. Then I had the yoni steam, slightly relaxing but maybe not worth repeating - at least for me. Among the many services they provide, there is a free body scan on a machine I believe that tells you about your body and the areas to work on. If I didn't ask about this, I would've not known. I wanted to try it, but saw very little interest in the person helping me in doing it, and actually completely ignored me when I requested it. So I left.
