But I'd say the last 6-12 months my nails do not last at all- 2 weeks tops for extensions w dip powder. My nail tech in NY wld do the same and it wld last 6 weeks. My nail tech said it was my fault bc my nails are long- - but that can't be it! The lady who did my feet was absolutely perfect, and my experience with her was great. However, the woman who did my nails was honestly very unprofessional. She repeatedly kept asking me if I wanted gel polish instead, and after I said no, it felt like she became rough and careless with my nails. I still have clear polish left on my skin, my nails are bumpy and streaky, and the white polish looks uneven. I've gotten white nails before many times, and they've never looked like this. The polish has already chipped in multiple places, and some sides of the nails barely even have polish on them. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars because the pedicure service was wonderful, but the manicure quality was unfortunately less than mediocre.

I went last Sunday afternoon and I had gotten a pedicure there a few months prior and liked the outcome so I decided to go back again. I'm pregnant and I wanted some self-care done so I told my partner to come along with me and we both got pedicures done. As the girl was working on my feet, I felt a burning sensation under my right foot toes and she noticed something was wrong just by the way she looked at me and pointed at my toes (I wasn't sure then what she was looking at till after I left) so I let her know it burns a lot and she continued on with the pedicure. It was the most uncomfortable and painful treatment I got done, I was ready to leave. As my partner and I were leaving, he knew something was wrong and I let him know she may have cut me since it felt so uncomfortable to walk after that. Later that afternoon, I checked the bottom of my foot and noticed tiny cuts on my toes that were definitely not there before. I started having body aches and chills, it got progressively worse till Monday morning when getting out of bed, my right foot felt so heavy and hurt so bad when I even tried walking on it or applying pressure. I had to go to the emergency room twice that day since I had a high fever with body chills and they told me it was a skin infection from the pedicure I got. I couldn't believe it being true since nothing like this has ever happened to me and now I'm 3 days in with this swelling and pain, I'm traumatized on getting another pedicure again.

I must admit I have been spoiled with the salons in north dallas that provide cool beverages and more modern facility but the staff quality is not the same from the perspective of customer service. If your looking for quality service without the high end experience this is your place. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is a staff member cut my toe during a pedicure accidentally. She was a very kind older lady and even though I was injured I appreciated her kindness.
